About this cabin rental

Peaceful and remote, yet close to fun. This is a one bedroom, 500sq ft cabin that sleeps three comfortably. The front porch is a wonderful spot for your morning coffee and catching sight of the wild peacocks and deer that roam the area. If your looking for quiet surroundings to catch a breath of fresh air, this is your spot.
Minutes away from restaurants, tubing, shopping and centrally located between New Braunfels, Gruene, and Wimberley, this is the perfect location to venture out on day trips or to enjoy a concert at Whitewater Amphitheater. There is a boat launch two minutes away for those that enjoy water activities and fishing. We have plenty of parking for your boat or jet ski.
**Please Note: Canyon Lake is currently experiencing record lows. There is only one boat ramp open on the whole lake. Enjoying the lake is extremely difficult at this time** 10/2024

Small decently affordable cabin near the lake. The property manager was very kind and accommodating. The air-conditioning in the main bedroom is extremely loud and difficult to sleep through, but I'm sure they will replace that soon. There are cute fawns to welcome you in the evening. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. A beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle.

The hum of the bedroom air conditioner drowned out any other sounds. The neighbors were very kind. I finally saw the peacock and we saw plenty of deer. It was really quiet and I loved the front porch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Location was perfect especially because we had to use boat ramp 18 and it was only 18 minutes. Loved the wildlife sitting on the deck with coffee. Place was very clean.

My wife and I spent three nights in that rustic looking cabin with all the things modern life needs. Beautiful wood finish, tastefully decorated in western style paintings and other decorative objects. The cabin is located close to local attractions and restaurants. Host was very responsive to our needs. We loved our stay.

This is a gorgeous property! The cabin is so nice and peaceful. There were deer every evening and a family of foxes and a peacock in the yard. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed plus stuff we didn't know we needed. Very comfy interior, and we relaxed on the deck every evening. This is one of my favorite places we have stayed.

A great log cabin, with charming Christmas decor and well equipped for a 2 night stay! Brandi, the host, did an excellent job responding to my questions to help me be prepared for the visit! I would like to stay there again in the future… Bill K

Very well designed and decorated cottage. Bed was very comfy, everything needed was there. The only concern was we couldn't figure out how to change the channel on the TV so when we were there, which was only later in the evening (after 9pm) we watched old reruns of "The Price is Right". this was not that big of a deal since it was interesting seeing all the crappy cars they gave away back then, LOL. Will definitely do this again in the future.

The cabin was cute and comfortable and well equipped for the 3 of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the deer roaming the neighborhood with no apparent fear of people or cars. Our only surprise was the cabin was less remote than we had thought. Sadly the lake and River are horribly low.

Our trip was a best friend trip. We wanted a hiking and outdoors trip. This was a perfect destination right by the lake. We had plenty of wildlife friends in the late evening and night hours. It’s very peaceful, if you like to just enjoy the outdoors.

We selected this lovely cabin for my birthday celebration at Canyon Lake, and we really enjoyed our stay here from beginning to end! Mrs. Brandi is an amazing host, very thoughtful and caring of every detail, including personalizing decoration for the occasion. it was such a special touch to decorate the cabin for my birthday, and even taking the time to leave delicious cinnamon rolls with birthday candles for all of us! Thank YOU Mrs. Brandi for taking care of every detail to ensure a joyful stay for us! We also enjoyed seeing the deers around!! We are definitely planning to go back to this lovely little cabin!

Just the perfect venue for our honeymoon getaway. My wife and I needed relaxation and together time after a very stressful wedding planning process, and this cabin was perfect! Extremely clean and very welcoming the moment we walked in the door! We would definitely stay here again in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone!!

Nice to get away from the city and the Cabin was just perfect for the two of us and our little dog. Cozy, comfortable, and decorated so cute! It was well appointed and everything we needed was there. Brandi was so accommodating with all my questions beforehand. They really thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable, so don’t hesitate on this one!!

The cabin was as advertised. Brandi is super helpful and kind and responds to question with incredible kindness. I will be coming back to this cabin. It was quiet, the neighbors were friendly and respectful of space. It's a short drive to Canyon City and the best part was watching the sunset at Canyon Lake Marina.

Went to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and we loved the privacy and cozying the cabin offered. The cabin was clean and offered amenities needed for our stay. Great location near the canyon to go site seeing and overall great place to stay.

What ruined our stay was the overwhelming smell of two pine scent room air fresheners. We unplugged them and attempted to air out the cabin. It was impossible to get the smell out as it had permeated the fabrics. As a result, we had headaches and coughing, we contacted the host and hopefully she will eradicate the problem as many people are allergic to room fresheners. We suggested to the host to get a new cleaning crew, as many common items were covered with dust and obviously had not been touch in quite a while. The host indicated she was sorry and embarrassed and would be making some changes. The linens and bedding were clean. The cabin is in a quiet residential area, which is close the lake. We thought the cabin was a little more secluded.
