If location is everything on your vacation, you’ve hit the jackpot when you stay at Gathering Place. The home is set in a secluded location in the woods. But, what really sets this home on a whole other level is the breathtaking view you’ll have on your deck and in the back facing rooms of the home. Miles and miles of pine-covered hills and blue hazed mountains stretch out before you as far as the eye can see.
Gathering Place is a five-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom air-conditioned home that sleeps up to 10 family members and friends. You’ll let your passengers out in a flat, covered unloading area that makes it easy to get everyone from car to the indoors regardless of the weather. There’s plenty of parking for everyone in your group.
When you walk through the front doors, you enter the spacious living room with vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, and a plush couch and recliner. You’ll have plenty of room for your entire group to gather in this beautiful room to watch TV on the flat-screen or Blue Ray player and relax together around the fire. You also have free Wi-Fi within Gathering Place so you can email friends, send photos, or play games. Of course, the living room’s main attraction could well be the breathtaking view through the many huge windows. It’s hard to take your eyes off such a beautiful mountain scene. Gather your group for a sing-a-long.
Just beyond the living room is the dining room with seating for 10. Just beyond the table are doors leading out onto the patio. The view from your table will rival any five-star restaurant in the world.
Your Gathering Place kitchen is just beyond the dining room and is beautifully outfitted with granite counter-tops, handsome cabinetry and all the appliances, cookware, and serving ware you need to take care of your group. Just bring your favorite recipes, stop by the local market and you’ll be all set.

A real beautiful cozy place with a lil fun for everyone!!! Its location in Ruidoso is perfect with the view of the valley and glimpes of wildlife here and there. The place is beautifully kept and was big enough for our family of 10. The back yard was perfect for our cornhole games!!! We'll definitely be coming back!!!!

A wonderful spacious home with lots of room to spread out. The upholstery on many of the furnishings could use a good cleaning and the available items for cooking were a bit sparse. Otherwise, the home was well equipped and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short by a day, as a member of our party had a medical emergency. Fortunately, the local ER was efficient and the staff were friendly! :)

Best we have ever rented in Ruidoso!

This is a beautiful, spacious home! It was perfect for our family of 10 for our holiday get together. The home and yard areas were clean and well kept, everything was nicely decorated, all the amenities and luxuries needed for a great weekend. It’s located in a very quiet upscale neighborhood with lots of Deer and Elk walking through the yard nightly. We didn’t see any other people or vehicles/traffic near the house all weekend. We will be staying at this one again, it’s a little expensive, but worth it.
