We had a wonnderful stay with family. We were in town for a wedding so we were pretty busy and didn't have much time to enjoy the property, but it was great even so. It's a good distance out of town, but that view is worth it!

We had a lovely stay at Miramar Oasis. So very peaceful and relaxing. Much of our time was spent poolside, just enjoying the peace and quiet.
The house was very clean, and well stocked. We hope to return next August for another stay.

A few friends and I stayed for 4 nights and it was the perfect space for our group! They thought of everything! very well stocked with anything you might need and the backyard is perfect! Beautiful views and the pool and spa were great. The beds were comfortable and everything was well thought out! I am looking forward to staying again in the future.

We had such a relaxing enjoyable time with our grandchildren at this property. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we all slept comfortably. The pool was amazing! The view was breathtaking and the kids would spend all day in the water if we let them! Julie and Craig were so easy to work with and very responsive to any needs we had. We would love to make this an annual vacation for family time. We are thankful to have found a perfect spot in SoCal to visit!

My family (brother, his wife and two kids) were visiting from Ireland, and while it was a bit far from anything if you needed something urgently, otherwise, it was the most perfect getaway. The kids loved the pool and jacuzzi, the game room, the fire pit, the BBQ. Everything about the property was wonderful, the amenities were well thought out and we didn’t want for anything. Julie was responsive with any question we may have had at anytime and was quick to offer solutions. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed at this house for my mom and my birthday as well as Mothers Day. My kids were all about the pool and the game room! We enjoyed the view and cooking birthday dinner at the house. It was a well stocked kitchen! So much wildlife around the property. It was a very nice weekend. Only thing was when we pulled up and saw another garage house that was occupied by someone, no issues at all just wasn’t expecting it. Overall we love the house, pool and the view!

Wow!! I needed a break from work and that’s exactly what I got. This property gets you away from it all with a spectacular view where you could spend all day in the pool and spa. The inside of the house is spacious, clean and modern. My children enjoyed the game room, and my dog enjoyed the trail. The front of the house has a beautiful pond with fish. It was extremely relaxing and perfect for my family. We really appreciated the small things like binoculars so that we can watch all the beautiful birds. The property was filled with avocado trees and vegetation that felt like a tropical oasis retreat. The host were available if we had any trouble to communicate quickly. I really thought of everything we could possibly need to make sure it was there. I can’t wait for another visit.

Beautiful home with lots to do inside and out. Pool was amazing, great hikes nearby and close enough to San Diego to be able to enjoy all that it has to offer. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to relax with family!

Our family had an excellent reunion with our son from Seattle. With the terrible weather, we spent much time in the heated pool and hot tub catching up with a few excursions into San Diego to the Midway and zoo. Great hiking trails were accessible down the road from the house with amazing views. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

My wife and I had an amazing week on this property! The best beaches,golf,wineries,hiking boating are all less than an hour away! Don’t miss lake Dixon park for a ride in a boat/fishing and hiking!And we did all of these activities during our stay.coming back from activities to this amazing home was a highlight of our trip! the sound of owls calling back and forth across the hills,coyotes howling in the distance,while star gazing in the hot tub was a special treat!The pool and hot tub control app gives you control even when in the hot tub! The coy fish in the front pond got all excited for their morning feeding,and we became fast friends on our stay! I have to confess… the orange tree next to the pool had the most amazing oranges I’ve ever had!! (Sorry Julie,we only had 10 or so?) we made breakfast/dinner at home 5 of 7 days because we didn’t want to leave this propriety! The kitchen and grill had EVERYTING an accomplished cook like me needed to wow my spouse…I could go on like this for pages….WE WILL BE BACK!

This was a girls’ trip and a little BFF reunion. The house was perfect. It was a beautiful place with a stunning view. The pool and hot tub were highlights. The game room was perfect for the kids to hang. We had a great time and made a lasting memory.

We rented this home for a trip with our 3 daughters (high school and college ages), and from the moment of arrival everyone loved the place. From the fish pond out front to the lemon trees in the yard, and a pool with a infinity-style view of the valley, we truly felt we were in a special place.
The kitchen and main area was large and spacious, and there are 3 full bedrooms with a family room that also has multiple sofa beds. Three bathrooms and a really nice master bathroom with spa tub and shower. The pool and hot tub had heat and controls for lights and temperature.
We spent each day visiting different areas in the San Diego area (gas lamp quarter, old town, a visit to UCSD, Blacks Beach), but each afternoon we returned home to this great house, played games, used the hot tub, and had a great time.
Any issues we had the hosts were quick to reply and make sure we had any questions answered. The area is definitely a bit secluded (which is ideal for many but worth mentioning). Our daughters preferred the quiet nature and solitude.
We would happily stay again and recommend the home, if/when we return to the San Diego area!

This property couldn’t have been better for the secluded family getaway we were looking for. Julie & Craig gave clear and detailed instructions for every part of the visit, and were very prompt in responding to any question or need. The house is very well done - the master bathroom (awesome two person tub and shower), the kitchen is well supplied, the surround sound system is the best I’ve heard, and the pool is just spectacular! We never wanted to leave, and hope to be able to go back again!

This was my first VRBO rental and I am finally getting to write this review. This house was amazing and we had a great time. This is a 5 star property with all the comforts of cozy home with your own spectacular view. It was a wonderful staycation with family. We golfed in the area, and totally enjoy coming home to a wonderful pool side resort feeling. Our morning coffee sunrises and our evening cocktail sunsets where an amazing bonus. We would definitely come back again.

The house was very clean and stocked as good as my own home. Every bedroom as a television and the Den has a large screen TV and pool table. It is in a neighborhood but we never felt like we were near anyone. The pool is also a great feature!

Just as nice second time arpound
This is our second stay at the wonderful property. First and foremost, the view from the pool deck is simply spectacular. But the tranquility of the koi pond and waterfall in the front of the house is also most inviting. Inside, everything is super clean. When I arrive at a short-term rental property, I typically wash all the dishes and cutlery before I use them. Sometimes linen also. But I did not feel the need to do so here. The kitchen is very well equipped. Appliances are top of the line, and there are small appliances galore: toaster, blender, mixer, coffee maker, expresso, slow cooker. The owners recently added an Instant Pot and an airfyer and both came in very handful during our stay. Knives and pots and pans are also top brand named. Do yourself a favour, check the pantry before you go buy grocery because they have all the spices you ever need. The kitchen is very spacious, with very high ceiling. The island is simply huge with tons of space for food prep.
The owners/managers have thought of everything. For example, there are plenty of bath and beach towels, and I mean PLENTY. All are very thick and fluffy, and in complete sets. There’s a phone app for controlling the pool and spa and it is extremely user friendly. There are charging stations on both ends of the kitchen island, and even USB charging on the bed stand in the master bedroom. We have no problem with the WIFI whatsoever, even with streaming.
This property scores very high on the privacy scale. While it shares part of the long drive way with a neighbor, the front door and the koi pond are not visible by that neighbour. The back of the house comprises a huge outdoor living area, half covered by a canopy , and the pool and spa. I would say only 10% of this back area are within the sight-line of another neighbor about 1,000 feet away, otherwise complete privacy is assured.
I have to say though that after one year, we did notice a bit of wear-and-tear of the property. But that’s totally expected due to its popularity and the hot climate.

Location, location location
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. This location was very peaceful and relaxing; great sunrises and sunsets, awesome view, pleasant mornings listening to the birds, the koi pond was lovely. We felt like we were in our own little resort.
The local restaurants were delicious. We were centrally located and enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend.
