About this house rental
The Hideaway is 1 of 4 beautifully updated homes, nestled on a 1.7 acre poropety on the Sebastian River. The accommodation is a completely private residences on a 4 unit resort style property. The acreage has 3 semi private boat docks, (great for mooring boats and fishing) mature oaks, shady relaxation, and stunning river views.
This home is 678 sq' recently remolded (Duplex style home, named - The Hideaway), it contains 2 bedrooms / 1 bath. The Hideaway is completely private with all needed amenities. The yards and docks are share spaces with other guests.
The Master Suit - Queen sized bed, newly renovated shower.
Bedroom 2 - Twin Daybed with Twin Trundle. The only restroom to accesses is in the master bedroom. Please note that the Laundry room is accessed through Bedroom 2.
The property is located immediately adjacent to the Florida East Coast Railway. There is potential for noise all hours of the day and night. The average number of trains per day can vary greatly based on needs, however, we can speculate that 4-6 trains per 24 hours is about the average. Most trains pass in approximately 1-3 minutes. We have found that most guests find this to be little to no bother and many even enjoy the trains.
Shared Spaces:
Parking, yard, and docks.
Guests agree to the following prior to booking:
-Cars must be in driveway and cannot be parked in yard/street or at neighbors.
-Pets are not allowed on furniture and droppings must be cleaned from the yard.
-Non-disclosed pets will be considered a major house rule violation and may result in dismissal from the property.
-Smoking/Vaping is Only Allowed Outside and must be thrown away in the outdoor garbage cans.
-This is a quiet family neighborhood - no loud music/parties/large gatherings.
-Linen must be used on the living room couch if used for sleeping.
-Guests are expected to clean up spills and keep rooms tidy. Floors should be mopped and swept if needed due to spills, foot tracks, or pets.
-Any and all damage needs to be reported immediately.
-Guests are not permitted to exceed listed occupancy in accordance with local laws.
-Guests will be asked to leave the residence for significant violations (in accordance with house, local, and state laws) and do so with the understanding they will not be refunded their deposit or any remaining nights on their reservation.

The home was absolutely adorable, well stocked, and very clean. Friends rented the neighboring homes on the property making for very a fun vacation where everyone had there own private space (way better than renting one big house). The yard was huge, fenced, and beautifully landscaped. The docs were nice and very convenient for boat parking. Also the driveway was huge and there was plenty of room to park the trailers and other cars, which was EXTREMELY convenient. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be booking here again!!

I will never forget seeing a manatee glide by within 5 feet of the dock, or the dolphin that breezed past the next day. And the towering live oaks in the huge backyard. Our two-bedroom, condo-sized unit with a full kitchen, living room and bathroom/shower was cozy and inviting but I ended up taking my laptop outside to work so I could breathe in all that beauty. Our host Lance thoughtfully provided every amenity from Keurig K-cups to extra towels and directions for cable on the flat-sceen TVs.

Staying on the river
We had a great experience! The rental has a very well equipped kitchen, amenities like beach towels, umbrellas and kayaks. Lots of space in general. The neighborhood is quiet and the people are friendly. We thought we might have a problem with noise from the freight train that comes through the town several times a day, including nighttime. But with the double pane windows and ear plugs there was absolutely no problem. We would definitely stay there again. It’s lovely to be right on the river and have your own dock!

Clean and Perfect Location
Perfect for our family of four! The dock was so nice for using our boat and just to fish off of. The house was stocked with all amenities needed and immaculately cleaned! The owner was easy to reach with questions and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Best view ever!
This was our first time staying right on the river and we will definitely be back!! We saw manatees, dolphins and caught fish off the dock daily. The house was clean, tidy and perfect for our family of four and had plenty of room for our extended family to join us for dinners.
Craig was warm and friendly and called to let us know there was a known issue with the oven before our check in, but he was getting it fixed. Ended up the whole stove needed replaced! He was available anytime we needed him. His son in law even gave us fishing bait… which we ended up catching catfish off the dock with!!
Loved it so much, we tried to book an extra couple days here…We will definitely be back!

Great house, great yard and beautiful views of the water.
The house was beautiful, completely remodeled with full kitchen, 2 coffee options (traditional pot and keurig), full spice rack, nice pots pans and brand new gas grill. Beds very comfortable and nicely decorated. A large fenced back yard overlooking the river with 3 docks, great kayak fishing with multiple species caught daily. Perfect for a family or guys trip. The manager was always available and very accommodating. We will definitely be back. CH
