Relax in comfort inside, or outside on the front and back covered patios. With wireless internet, this is a perfect place for a work vacation. It is located in the center of "God's Playground" with hiking, fishing, rafting, ATVing, bird watching, rock climbing, hunting, skiing, horseback riding, mountain biking, kayaking available close by. Only 10 minute drive from downtown Buena Vista....close but remote!

The cabin is located in a perfect spot--beautiful views AND quiet/secluded. Even though it is located just 10 minutes from Buena Vista, we stayed in for meals not to miss the sunsets! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. All the amenities were very nice and the beds extra comfy!! Lisa was super with communication! We will definitely return next summer. Thanks for an amazing stay!!

Absolutely the perfect location. Extremely private. We had everything we needed to feel at home. Laid out in chaise lounges and marveled at the outstanding stars and satellites in the heavens above!

First of all, the owners went above and beyond, by getting us an early check in, checking to make sure all was ok. Great and caring owners. Place was great! Had the kitchen stalked with necessities. Only request, some music. The view was incredible. Would stay again. Michele

Beautiful property and location. Quiet neighborhood, and close to BV - we were there for a wedding and this was a great alternative to the hotels in town, and still only a 10 min drive to the venue. Dog also loved it!

This property was more than to be expected! With 6 of us, there was plenty of room. The big bathrooms were also great and convenient. The views are breathtaking and amenities were perfect! Easy, short drive to Cottonwood Hot Springs made this stay complete! I would absolutely recommended this property!

This property is the most peaceful place I have ever stayed at. It was quiet, calm, relaxing, and had stunning views all the way around. Getting there was extremely easy and it was easy to find. The cabin has everything and more that you could need for a stay and was clean and bright. The property manager went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable and even changed my dates for me when an unexpected medical appointment came up. I highly recommend and I will be back!

Lisa was an incredible host- clear communication, timely responses, helpful suggestions. The cabin itself had stunning views outside of every window. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and all the bedding is very comfortable. We enjoyed having our wine on the back patio while taking in the 14ers. We look forward to coming back!

The pictures provided were a good indication of what the cabin looked like. We had ample room for 2 adults and 1 kid, yet it was still cozy. It was in a nice location and not too far from Main Street in Buena Vista. Well stocked with cooking items for an extended stay. The grocery store is about 10 minute drive from cabin. We enjoyed the escape from the big city (Denver).

The cabin was very, very clean and had a bit of a modern style, while still being cozy and comfortable. Communication with owner was fast and seamless, though we had no issues. It exceeded expectations and I'd really like to book it again.

We had an amazing stay - the scenery is breathtaking and the privacy of the cabin made for a fabulous birthday weekend for my honey. The deers sleeping in the tree's right off the back porch was a nice touch too!!!

We spent 4 days in the cottage and enjoyed every moment. Very cosy, has all it needs, is remote, dog friendly etc etc It was perfect for our Xmas getaway and driving into Leadville is easy, and there, there is a sled hill, which gave our son all the snow and fun he needed

Wonderful spot about 15 minutes from downtown Buena Vista. Clean, cozy cabin vibes. Comfortable beds. Kind and easy communication with host. Clear check in/out instructions. Dirt road required. Radon fan (I think) is a little loud if you are enjoying the lounge chairs outside for the incredible view. Overall a really fantastic stay. Thank you so much!

We just spent several days in a cozy secluded cabin in Buena Vista! Positive expectations were met in so many ways! The accommodations were wonderful, and the views of the snow capped mountains were spectacular! Colorado in October is awesome!

This log home is lovely and the setting is amazing! We were so excited to get up in the morning and watch the sunrise over the mountains. It’s a beautiful setting outside of the town, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy evenings on the porch, watching the sunset. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great vacation at the cabin and consider it to be the best rental house we have ever stayed in. The cabin is very private and has amazing views. Yet it is easy to find and the road into town passing through the tunnels is a real pleasure to drive on. The log construction gives the cabin a lot of character and authenticity. The kitchen is modern and very functional and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Lisa was a great host. She gave us lots of suggestions to enjoy the Buena Vista and Salida area. We will definitely be back to this amazing part of Colorado.

We had an outstanding time at this property. It was a little out of the way and on the other side of the river from main street and the busy section of Buena Vista. Very quiet and secluded. The home had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable. Great views of the Collegiate Peaks from the back porch. Will stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Bona Vista. The cabin was comfortable and clean and the views from the back patio were amazing. (We spent a lot of time out there admiring the views.) The cabin had everything we needed and more. The property manager Lisa was great. She checked in on us regularly to ensure our stay was great. We brought our dog and he had a blast exploring the area. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommend a stay at Bona Vista.

The property was perfect for our weekend! The cabin is charming, comfortable, and clean. It has beautiful views of the mountains from the back porch, and is private from surrounding properties. The kitchen was stocked plenty, allowing us to cook/grill there. The drive from town to the cabin is mostly a dirt road, but didn't take long, and had 3 fun tunnels you had to drive through. Lisa, the property manager reached out letting us know the cabin was ready which allowed us to check in an hour earlier than expected, and gave us the option for a later check out. It was a great weekend! Thanks!
