The House of Sun complex sits on the Gulf of Mexico with a heated community swimming pool just steps from the private beach along with a complex tennis court that is literally on the beach. The clubhouse has clean washrooms, a Smart TV, a pingpong table and much more.....walk out thru the side door to find the complex BBQ grills with, of course, ocean views!!
After a day of fishing cook up your prize catch at the grilling station located outside the clubhouse near the beach. The House of Sun clubhouse is updated with a flat screen TV, WiFi, Ping Pong table, dining areas both outside and in..... and much more. The location is great as you are very close to the south bridge on Siesta Key making it easy peasy to get on and off the key.
Walk into the full size kitchen with new marble stone counter tops, plenty of dishes, glasses, and stainless appliances will make you feel right at home with the quality one would expect. Both drip & Keurig coffee makers included. There's a breakfast bar for 4 people at the marble kitchen counter, plus a dining table for 6.
The living room is spacious and decorated in retro-quality furnishings such as a large burnt red/orange leather corner sofa that can accommodate the whole gang. Next to it is a tan leather chair and ottoman all facing the large Smart flat screen TV. Enjoy watching your favorite Netflix series whenever you desire or switch and watch the Blu-Ray.
The open balcony is off the living room and opens wide....enjoy your breakfast at the cafe table for 4 and take in the ocean air. Peekaboo ocean views included!
Down the hall is a small updated and modern bathroom with tub/shower and solid stone vanity. Across the way is the bunk queen beds and a flat screen TV. The master bedroom is next to the kids room. It is quite roomy with a King bed, his/her closets, dresser, vanity area with custom drawers, wall mounted Smart TV and a NEW ensuite bath room/1. It has been fully renovated with marble walls and a rain style shower-head......beautiful & modern!

The unit had a well stocked kitchen, great location, nice trendy furniture and some beach equipment for us to use. The tile floor in the master shower needed a good cleaning or replacement and the shower drain had a sewer gas smell. Despite that, we would stay there again.

Had a wonderful time. The condo was well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Instead of eating out every night you can enjoy meals in the condo. Rooms were clean . The area is gorgeous. You are right on the Gulf of Mexico. The surrounding area is beautiful and has restaurants and plenty of bars and fun activities. You really don’t need to rent a car. We loved every minute of our stay here. Would definitely come back and stay here again. A bonus were free activities from itrip. We enjoyed the dolphin tour

Very nice accommodations and amenities with decent view of the Gulf. . Everyone associated with the property was friendly and helpful. A concern with the tv was handled promptly and effectively. Music across the street was entertaining and ended around midnight. We would not hesitate to stay again.

The condo was clean. Problem with dryer and didn’t get a response until 24 hours later. By then, it was too late. This location is very noisy. There is a club across the street and people carrying on/loud music until 11pm or later. Also, kids running above the unit early morning and late at night. I would say perfect for couples who want to party, but less than ideal for a family wishing to go to bed by 10pm and enjoy a restful vacation. The beach is lovely.

We stayed at the House of the Sun and found the accommodations more than satisfactory. The accommodations were quiet and a good starting place to visit other places on Siesta Key. We found the condo very clean and loved the fact that we could do our own cooking. We will definitely visit again sometime.

The condo is updated and well equipped for short or long stays. Comfortable furnishings. Walk a few feet west and you are right on a Private section of Beautiful Crescent Beach. Walk east and there is plenty of restaurants, life music and even a small grocery store. You really never need to drive anywhere. We can’t wait to come back.

Perfect place to stay
We had the best experience!
The unit was clean, spacious and had everything we needed and more. My daughters loved having their own room with queen bunkbeds and I loved the separate bathrooms! The pool was convenient and the private beach was just yards away.
The location was ideal as well. Across the street from restaurants, bars, and shops. You could hear live music on the patio everyday! It's walking distance from Fun Boat Tours which I recommend ad well.
The host was extremely accommodating to boot!

The condo was very clean and the space is bigger than expected. The furniture and entire space are simply decorated and yet calming and comfortable. The proximity to the beach is as good as it gets and this beach is with side white sand and warm waters and private. I will be back here again next year for sure.

Very poor location
This unit is very clean in the living areas - kitchen, baths, etc. We enjoyed the unit itself. We feel bad giving the stay such a low rating, but feel we have an obligation to warn people about the location. There are two outdoor bars across the street that play VERY LOUD music every evening. The music comes through the walls and windows as if we are at a rock concert. If we turned on the TV and put the volume at a level we could hear clearly during the day, we could not hear the TV at night as it was drowned out by the music. Others in the building told us that this is a known issue. Also, this building is ground zero for high school spring break. The private beach at the building is much more crowded and unruly than we saw at all the adjacent buildings.

You can't beat walking out of the building onto white sand, playing tennis before you get to the beach and watching the sunset from the condo deck.

The unit itself was clean and well-supplied. There were a couple of things, such as the anemic fan in the guest bathroom. Nice appliances.
However, I was not prepared to be bombarded by the loud rock/country music from the bar across the street. EVERY NIGHT. So loud I could hear it with windows closed and the TV on. Potential renters should be made aware of this.
Also, it took us two days to figure out how to use the television in the living area. I'm still not sure we did it properly, and I couldn't figure out the set in the master bedroom. The unit needs to have detailed instructions on how to use the TV/cable -- and a list of channels would be nice, too.
Lastly, I did not expect a unit in "House of the Sun" to feel like I was staying in a cavern. The sun NEVER HITS THIS UNIT!!!! I came to Florida because I live in central Ohio, which is gray all winter. My mood hadn't improved after a few days, then I realized that the unit is SO DARK it was just like being home.
I'm very sad that I spent so much money on this facility and unit.

Condo was very clean. The building was rather noisy; in addition there was construction next door which was very loud. There’s no view of the beach from the condo but access to the beach is easy, and the beach is spacious and beautiful.

We arrived at 2 am after travel issues and were so happy when we entered this unit. It’s very clean, stylish, very well managed, nice furnishings- great space. Not much of a view - but they are upfront about that and the beach- so incredibly beautiful... is just steps away. And the location cannot be beat.

I’m still trying to get my money back from VRBO. So I found this condo at the last second. I called the management company and i trip vacations saved the day and let me in early to this place. Our 1-Year Anniversary

Wonderful condo/Red Tide ruined
The condo was beautiful but the Red Tide not units fault ruined the trip. We had to turn around and leave due to the beach covered in dead fish and sea life. So disappointed.
