Very friendly staff and the house has an interesting interior view.

The air conditioner didn't work well, it was very stuffy. If you open the window you can hear the highway nearby. The beds are insufficient for two in size. The beach and restaurants 10-15 min away by car

We enjoyed our stay in Monroe Manor Inn.

The Monroe Inn is exactly like it is described on Booking. Very nice Bed and Breakfast. Clean and comfortable with everything you might need for the short stay. We liked the porch, location, easy parking and breakfast, of course.

The property was beautiful. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was quite generous.

Not a big fan of tubs , I should have read the room information more thoroughly. The room came with a beautiful claw foot tub equipped with a handheld shower head. It took a bit of adjustment but it worked fine

Was a nice one night stay. Beautiful home. They had two of the prettiest greeter. A large black cat ( blackjack) and a large tiger cat (Tiny). They were the sweetest cats. We would definitely go back.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. Very beautiful, clean,elegant. And the host was fabulous. Excellent breakfast every morning. He when over and beyond. We will be back.

beautiful bed and breakfast, well decorated, very comfortable beds, and delicious breakfast. Rashid the owner went above to accommodate and make our stay unforgettable, even made us Moroccan green tea.

The breakfast and service was outstanding! The food was delicious and the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly.

The only downside was that it wasn't close to the beach or downtown as other places to stay might be, but it was still a short drive!

The Monroe Manor Inn was a wonderful place to stay and relax.

The breakfast was excellent. Presentation was beautiful and the food was exceptional.

I would have liked a small writing surface but this did not detract from my experience.

I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice home, very clean. Within minutes to Downtown South Haven. Even though others stayed in the same home it was very quiet getaway. Host was very pleasant and accommodating.

I really can’t think of much that I disliked.

Off the beach B+B

Beautiful home and grounds, nicely furnished, with large front porch. Our room was pretty, comfortable, and functional, not frilly and over furnished like so many B+B's. Very nice staff and breakfast. Convenient keypad entry if you're out late at night.

There was room for a small nightstand on each side of the bed, and it's very inconvenient when there is only one. No door to the bathroom! I would like more privacy than a curtain. Near town, but definitely not walkable.

It was wonderful. Excellent service and awesome people. We would definitely come back The owners were incredible . Great breakfast, porch area ideal for our gatherings. Awesome fire pit. Overall we all loved it and it is so close to South Haven.

Rashid was so welcoming! We heard of the home’s history and he offered water and coffee anytime. Our room was terrific, the breakfast delicious. So clean and safe.

Quaint and beautiful

I haven’t stayed at a Bed and Breakfast in a long while, so when I had to find a place to stay for a family wedding for my husband and I, I want sure he would go for it. He is very private and prefers a traditional hotel. Well, we were both so pleasantly surprised at the charm, ambience, cleanliness and comfort. And as it turned out, Monroe Manor was directly across the street from the location of the wedding were attending!!! I can’t say enough about the comfort of the bed to the crepes, eggs and Greek yogurt with fresh fruit we had. This is a must !

Pleasant

The Inn was very quaint. The Inn Keeper gave us a history of the Inn which was very interesting. The aroma/smell of the Inn was quite pleasant. It wasn't musty or old smelling. We were able to eat breakfast on the patio outside. We were able to meet and talk with other guests.

The breakfast was fair. I would have expected a more lavish offering for a Bed and Breakfast. I didn't know the rooms were on the second floor. It was a little difficult for us to carry the luggage upstairs due to health problems.

I was only able to stay one night which was a quiet restful night as hoped for.

The large manor is beautiful with the bath of the suites updated very nicely. It's a lovely and quiet house. The grounds look inviting as well as the large porch for breakfast service. Rashid is a great host and made me feel very welcomed. I hope to return.

Just what we needed.

our purpose was to have a quiet time at the beach which was a wonderful experience. the host was super friendly and his goal was to make us feel comfortable and to meet our needs. He was exceptional.

The bathroom baseboards should be cleaner. Otherwise very clean. No other complaints.
