Had a great time at this clean, updated house. Location is perfect to walk into town, about 1/2 mile away or to walk to the 2 trails that are also about a 1/2 mile. Check in and communication are easy. Would recommend staying here if you are visiting New Glarus.

Nice property, had a bit of trouble with the keyless entry, a “how to use” in the email would be helpful. Enjoyed our time in the area, great winery and coffee shop in the area. Also rented e-bikes in town and used the nearby trail.

I came to New Glarus for the month to help out with my granddaughters (2yo and newborn). This is a wonderful place to stay and felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this property!! Melissa is very responsive and respectful of privacy while staying here.

My husband and I rented this house for a 3-night stay with our teen sons and my husband’s parents. The home was very clean and very conveniently located walking distance to New Glarus downtown. It had all of the amenities that a family should expect- tables, seating, couches, and TV’s. Someone put a good amount of thought and work into updating old wooden furniture (dressers, tv consoles, armoire, etc.) and choosing a modern color scheme. A few bits of feedback: we rented a house because we enjoy making breakfast at home and sometimes lunch or dinner. The flat fry pan was poor quality and spun like a toy top on the electric stove. That wasn’t ideal. The plastic liner shower curtain was over a foot too long and felt like a tripping hazard. The home had a RING doorbell which one part of my understands the need for so an owner can monitor their property and another part of me feels “watched.” None of my “complaints” should deter anyone from renting this property. Just be aware of them and have your mindset ready to expect them in advance.

Came in from Arkansas to run the Badger 100. Was thrilled to find a VRBO so close to the finish line in Belleville. Our property host replied to any questions almost immediately; the home was immaculate and the kitchen had everything needed for our limited stay. Whether visiting New Glarus or nearby areas, this charming little home is worth checking out!!!! Just one full bath but there’s a toilet in the downstairs, unfinished basement with full laundry utilities!!!!! Exactly what we needed! Going home after a long race without dirty, smelly laundry is priceless!!! 😁

Loved staying in this lovely home! Made it very comfortable traveling with my 1 year old. Close to everything and the town is charming with cute shops and great restaurants!

We were in town for a New Glarus festival with a large group. 2 couples stayed at this home. All was as posted and the walk downtown was easy. Nice neighborhood and had waves and hellos from a few individuals while walking!

Went for the weekend for a girls trip. Melissa and Nick were great hosts and responded very quickly to any questions we had. The home was just as pictured and so close to town. New Glarus is such a cute place. We will definitely be back!

My girlfriends and I did a girls weekend and stayed at this VRBO. It was exactly how it was listed. It was super clean, so cute, great neighborhood and plenty of room for us 4. We will for sure be back again and plan on staying here. Melissa was awesome to communicate with.

Melissa’s home is a wonderful place to stay when exploring New Glarus. Very easy walk to downtown shops, bars, and restaurants. And great place to hang out and relax. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect spot... just a quick drive to downtown. Walking is ok too! So nice to relax after busy days seeing the sites.

This is a really cute, well equipped house with a great location. My wife and I were very comfortable. The neighborhood is well maintained and very quiet. Central New Glarus was a 10 minute walk, and the main roads in and out of town are only a minute's drive. And this is probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed--most hotels could learn a lot by looking this house over; it was immaculate! We loved this place and would stay there again.

This cozy house was perfect for our couples weekend in New Glarus. After a day of exploring the area sights it was nice to come back and relax and feel right at home. It’s an older home but it has been tastefully updated and has a nice open feel. The manager was quick to answer any questions we had which was nice. The only minus was in the description it said there was a fire pit which we found unusable as it was full of weeds. We would definitely book here again though.

We arrived during an ice storm and the driveway and sidewalks were already cleared off by the owner! Melissa was easy to reach and had answers to our questions immediately. Shops and wineries and breweries were all within a 5 minute drive. This VRBO has everything you need for a relaxing but fun-filled stay!

Great property for a small group or family. Modern décor with beautiful vintage hardwoods in most of the house. Solid Wi-Fi and easy access to many of the areas best restaurants and activities. Owners were very easy to communicate with making check in and check out super easy.

Melissa is a 5 star hostess!!! After a mere centimeter snowfall, she appeared at the door to clean the driveway and sidewalk. And, she asked if it was okay for her to go into her garage to get the necessary equipment. Beautiful place!!!! Quiet!!! Clean!!!
