This exceptionally spacious home is located in the very desirable area of Olde Ferry Estates located on the main lake on a private cul-de-sac.
Great for walking and biking.
Vista Pointe has everything you might need or want and much more.
The entire 3,300 sqft house has recently been refurnished and beautifully decorated. A large private dock at twelve feet deep... dock complete with a jump platform. and a small sandy beach line. Included in the rental are 2 kayaks, a paddle board and a five person paddle boat. The boat house is stocked some fishing gear kayak paddles and plenty of life vests in various sizes many noodles and lake floats.
The lake has an abundant supply of crappie, bream, large mouth bass and catfish. The property also comes with a special guest fishing permit that allows guests to fish from the dock or shoreline without needing an individual fishing license!
You can utilize the cleats for easy boat tie-off with bumpers WE DO NOT SUPPLY USE OF THE BOAT LIFTS AND OR COVERED INDIVIDUAL BOAT SLIP AT DOCK. The Marina is a fifteen minute drive or five minutes by boat for easy rentals or to launch.
Main floor features a beautiful open floor plan with magnificent hardwood floors throughout. A formal dining space, a large inviting beautiful living room that has a 55 inch mounted Smart TV.
A beautiful master suite with a spectacular view of the lake features a 55 inch TV, a king size bed, large walk-in closet and an amazing large bathroom featuring a double vanity, large jetted tub and a private stand up shower. The large open kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking memorable meals. It is complete with a beautiful farm table, as well as, a screened-in porch with a table and seating, all with a magnificent view of the water. A half-bath and a large laundry room can be found right off the kitchen.

The house and everything that goes with it was exactly how it’s listed. The host is extremely nice, very easy to communicate with, and made sure we had everything we needed including welcoming gifts!! The house had everything we needed to enjoy a week at the lake, all we had to pack was clothes. We will definitely be planning another vacation in this house!

My family and my littles have been traveling to lake Gaston for over 5 years. We have stayed in different places every year- no longer. We have found the perfect place.
1. House- This place has everything - I mean everything.
Where to start - the appliances, the games and toys, blankets, the gift basket, towels, floats - so so much more. - one of the littles was not feeling well- and - there was a digital thermometer in the house - So thankful for that thermometer. The house is beautiful decorated and very spacious.
2. Host - Jessie is fabulous- she takes care of everything - and is so sweet and a welcome basket with sweet treats and beautiful fresh flowers was waiting for us when we arrived. Jessie always had quick responses to any questions I had.
3. Dock- we just loved this area - it has a beach area where my little could run in and out of the water or play in the sand. Jumping off the top of the dock was a highlight for the adults. The paddle boat and the paddle board was loads of fun too.
I could go on and on how fantastic this place was. So glad we found our place for next year and the next and so forth.

Our family of 13 always go on a family vacation every year and this was our first time staying here and out of every place we have rented over the years this property was hands down our absolute favorite! Jessie was incredible! The house was amazing and so beautiful! She has everything you could possibly need for adults and kids! We had 5 kids with us ranging from 4-15 and they had the BEST time! If I could give it 10 stars I would! We will definitely be back and can't wait to experience it again!

This house is wonderful for a large group - plenty of seating areas, beautiful water access (including a shallower area for youngsters), and all the kitchen accessories you could ever need. Jessie was a very responsive host, and even had a personalized gift basket with so many fun things for our kiddos waiting for us. Will definitely be back!

Jessie is wonderful! Best host ever! We arrived to a welcome basket, fully stocked coffee bar, and house overlooking the main lake. The home is warm and comfortable with at least 5 carefully appointed conversation spots with cozy chairs and views. The kitchen has everything- even a charcuterie board. Our daughers live in DC and we live in FL so this is a perfect half way spot to catch up. We will be back over and over.

Vista Pointe is paradise — I would give a thousand stars if I could. It was such an amazing experience so it will be difficult to capture everything, but I’ll try to do it justice. First, I have to note that Jessie is by far the best host we have ever encountered. She goes to extraordinary lengths to ensure a special stay for her guests! She prepared a lovely gift basket and even put up some birthday decorations to help us celebrate. You can tell that she takes tremendous pride in the property— the decor is absolutely gorgeous and she provides modern/high quality amenities. She also offers a great coffee bar and all cooking essentials. The lake view from the house is spectacular. We spent hours on the deck reading, grilling, watching the boat traffic, and playing games. We explored the lake in the kayaks she provided and enjoyed music by the dock. Great jumping platform. At night we enjoyed sitting by the fire pit toasting marshmallows, then had fun playing pool and ping pong. Streaming was good too so we watched a few movies. The beds were very comfortable so we slept great. This was by far the nicest property we have stayed at and everything exceeded our expectations (not easy to do). It was hard to leave such a beautiful place! We definitely hope to return! Thank you Jessie for sharing your exceptional lake home with us - you are amazing!!!

Jessie is AMAZING to work with, very personal and takes great care of her renters, I feel like she’s now apart of my family ! My family referred to her by name throughout our stay “not just the owner of the property” but calling her by name as if she was here with us! Beautiful decor, very clean, plenty of linen, comfy beds and cozy rooms plenty utensils etc., the location is an A plus. My family and I have stayed in lake gaston for the last 9 yrs and this was the very first time we were greeted with a gift basket and a personal welcome phone call!! Being in the customer service Industry myself this was the butter cream icing on the cake!!! We will be back!

We had the best experience imaginable! Jessie went above and beyond to ensure our stay at Old Ferry Estates was enjoyable. We were greeted by a lovely handwritten welcome note, fresh flowers & a gift basket which blew us away! The house accommodated our family perfectly and offered us an impeccable view/access of Lake Gaston. The owner (Jessie) has provided everything you could possibly require starting with a fully stocked kitchen (including all the basic necessities such as trash bags, soap, etc) bathroom essentials and even a first aid kit! The house is beautifully decorated offering a tranquil environment to sit back, relax and enjoy the lake view. The dock is situated on one of the deepest areas of the lake but offers a small but private Sandy beach area which appears safe if you have little ones in your family. Several kayaks, paddle board (tons of floats )along with life jackets in various sizes are available for use as well. I seriously can’t say enough good things about this rental other than we’ll be looking forward to our next years family vacation at Old Ferry Estates.

This was our annual family vacation (ages 6-75). Jessie is the best hostess we have ever come across. A fabulous welcome basket, a resource for the best local information, and immediate responses to all of our inquiries. Because of Jessie, we were able to make local connections that enhanced our trip, enabling us to make cherished memories. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious, and well stocked for your every need, especially the kitchen. Don’t be intimidated by the stairs to the lake. We had no problem getting up and down - kids and seniors alike. Our weather wasn’t the best, but the kids managed to swim and fish every day. When it rained we went to Warrenton to the Bragging Rooster where we played games and brought in dinner from George’s Restaurant. (Family Feud on the Wii was a blast.) We also turned the screened in porch into a “tea room” for the ladies while the men had lunch at the Hardware Store Cafe. Jessie had everything we needed for an elegant tea party. The neighborhood is perfect for long walks and bike rides (all sizes provided). Jenny Cakes at the Lake has yummy baked goods and check out Rosemont winery where the “champagne” is delicious. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time at this beautiful vacation spot!

We stayed for a week with our adult children at this property, and it was perfect for our group. Jessie was a terrific host and she really went out of her way to make it a comfortable experience for us. We arrived to a fabulous, personalized welcome basket, a well stocked kitchen (complete with coffee and tea), plenty of towels, and toiletries in the bathrooms. The house has plenty of indoor and outdoor space so we never felt on top of each other. We really enjoyed the basement area, where our whole group could come together to watch movies or play games. The neighborhood is beautiful and serene, and we enjoyed morning walks each day. The area is remote (a 15-20 minute drive to get groceries) and quiet with no traffic at all. We took time to visit Rosemont Vineyards (worth the drive), Bragging Rooster Brewery (great beer and cider) and the Cryptozoology Museum (interesting, but very small town vibe). Jessie was kind and friendly and was available as needed. We would love to return here in the future.

When you walk into the house it is hard to know where to look: the amazing gift basket, the absolutely perfect décor, the amazing view of the lake, or the fabulous furniture settings. We had 13 adults and one teen and every single person loved the house and the lake. The house has everything you need and if you speak to Jessie before you come and want something she is most likely going to get it for you. There is enough room for everyone to spread out and have space and enough room to all be together and play games. The garage has ping pong, corn hole, and other fun games, the dock is stocked with floats for everyone and every kind (inner tubes, 2 person chair with cooler etc). There are 3 fire pits so again people can separate or come together at one. It was such an amazing house my daughter's boyfriend proposed on vacation! Incredible house and host.

Our extended family of 17 (from almost 3 years old to 80) spent an wonderful week at Vista Pointe in June. We loved the many gathering areas both inside and out to enjoy the lake and each other. The host was responsive and gracious and the welcome basket a unusual surprise. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance and utensil imaginable and made cooking a joy. The kids and teens loved the space to hang out together and the many indoor and outdoor games including ping pong, pool and great internet connection. We marveled at the many charming details and extras throughout the house. Bedrooms are delightfully comfortable and quiet. The waterfront with multiple swim toys, kayaks and little beach was our favorite place to hang out. We can’t wait to come back.

Vista Pointe is a beautiful home with a fabulous main lake view. It is well stocked so it was quite pleasant to not have to sweat the small stuff! Jessie left a fabulous welcome basket and delicious Crumble Cookies. We had a karaoke night with lots of laughs and a couple of “competitive” games of pool. Thanks for your hospitality. My husband and I have been to a couple of vacation rentals, and this was one of the most pleasurable experiences. Jessie really is a hands-on host that caters to every aspect of the customers experience, from understanding your needs to making sure you enjoy your stay. We are foodies, the kitchen had every amenity to cook meals, we didn’t have to pack anything.
The game room downstairs was fully stocked with games, even karaoke which we attempted to sing to some songs on the music station…sang off key but we had a blast. 😊
We also took advantage of the dock to catch some fish, caught a nice size wide mouth bass and catfish, which we enjoyed cooking up on the grill.
The location is very peaceful, great spot on the lake. We loved the fire pit and drank some wine to celebrate our anniversary. This was a memorable stay, with a great experience, we definitely will be back to rent again!!

This was an amazing spot for our yearly family retreat at Lake Gaston. We have 5 kids and have family on the lake that visited and I can confirm this is an awesome spot for kids and adults. We loved the screen porch and outside spaces.
The house itself is large and well designed and the owner has done a better job than any property owner we've experienced in the past as far as communication and all the little extras the house was stocked with.
The kids loved the boathouse and jumping in the water. The water toys, and we had our boat there for tubing so boating was easy as it was right on the main lake. By boat, Eatons ferry was only a 5-7 minute boat ride.
We would definitely rent there again!

We stayed at this lovely home and lakefront property this past week and are on our way home now. Wish we could have stayed longer! The house had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was the most well equipped kitchen we’ve ever encountered on vacation and the 5 children ranging in ages from 2-10 loved the spacious kids room! We had an awesome week and highly recommend this perfect home!!!

Family Gathering Lake Gaston
We had the best time in this lovely Lake Gaston Home!! There were 7 adults and 8 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked with all appliances and dishes needed, nice propane grill was a bonus. Loved the screened in porch and deck off main level of home, fantastic view of Main Lake and you could swim off deck and see sunsets each night. Kids had fun jumping off deck into deep waters!! Garage had plenty of games and downstairs kitchen was so nice for more room, pool games and enjoyment. Highly recommend for large families, host was great to work too! We will return again!! Great Vacation Rental
My extended family stayed at the house for a week over the 4th of July. We all agreed it was probably one of the nicest places we have rented and definitely the best stocked. Jessie even left a gift basket for us on arrival. She was so easy to work with and answered any questions I had pretty much immediately. Be aware there are a lot of steps down to the lake (without a railing) although the only ones it bothered was my husband and I and least just say we are well past 70. :-) In fact my daughter-in-law ran up and down them several times as part of her exercise routine. The lake was pretty busy over the holiday and fairly choppy with all of the boat traffic but once the holiday was over it was fairly calm and everyone enjoyed being in and on the water. Would highly recommend this rental.

Holiday Get Away
This was a different scenery for the Christmas Holiday. The host decorated for Christmas as requested and it was beautiful. The house was fully stocked with any cooking utensils, etc. There were hand sanitizer in every room. I didn't have to pull any of mine out. We had a small issue and the host was very accessible and assisted in a timely manner to ensure our stay continued.

This house is Amazing!! Located on mile marker 13 it’s convenient to everything on the lake! The 1st thing you will notice is how this house is SPOTLESS when you check in! Multiple families or just to spread out! The decorations definitely made you feel welcome and had a relaxing beach/lake theme! The landscape and dock area is perfect lots of seating outside and we had 3 jet ski and 2 boats that fit perfectly! Jessie is an Amazing host Returns messages Instantly, and really goes out of her way to make sure your stay is Perfect! We will definitely be back.
