Great up grades from when we first came here in 2007. AC is awesome ! Some things in and outside house need some attention from weather and general use wear. Yard service would be nice too. But we enjoyed our stay and the beach is awesome!
Mahalo!

This property is in a great location. Great communication with the host. Beautiful, relaxing view. Highly recommend!

This charming condo is better than described! The view and location are beyond compare. Just steps and you are on the sand! Ocean in every direction. The condo was nicely decorated and very clean. The host has provided everything you could possibly need for your stay. Very comfy bed and awesome shower. Plenty of beach equipment to include chairs, surfboard, and snorkel gear.
Samuel was quickly responsive to my questions and a delight to chat with. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay again when next we return. 5 star rating is not high enough as far as my husband and I are concerned.

My husband and I are a retired couple who visit Oahu every year. This is our third stay in three years at this wonderful home. We love the location and being right on the beach. The house is sparkling clean with everything needed for a very comfortable time. We are already planning our next trip!

Up-to-date and comfy. Fabulous deck right on water. Very close to Haliewa town and grocery and an easy drive to all north shore beaches and legendary surfing. (Some right out the window.) You could tour Oahu from here if you wanted, but it’s hard to leave!!! All photos are accurate. Cute and functional. WiFi and all appliances work well. Sweet spot!

We loved this place! Could not ask for better ocean views. My cousin and I (both 82) stayed in the one bedroom side. I had the bedroom and she slept on the couch. Not a pull out, but she said was very comfortable. Since we had both been to HI many times, we did not rent a car because we mostly wanted to just chill for 10 days, enjoy the ocean and soak up the ambiance. Used Uber to go into town for groceries, restaurants and shopping..$86 for about 5 times. Uber service good except for evening hours when wait was 20 mins. We must have been the first old people who ever stayed here because the condo has few safety items like bar in shower or motion light in courtyard for nighttime entrance. Those comments aside, would highly recommend, especially for water activities and proximity to Haleiwa. Saw lots of turtles and enjoyed watching surfers, snorkelers, spear fishers, wind boarders, boats galore and especially the dog walkers. Sunrises, sunsets and rainbows glorious!

Everything we were looking for - a quiet spot on the beach. The place itself was great as well, with all sorts of handy touches that made our stay enjoyable.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Haleiwa Waterfront House. Booking and instructions were very clear and accurate, it was a perfect space for 2 adults to be and felt private, even in a neighborhood, and the private beach access was wonderful for long walks on the beach. The deck was perfect to sit or lay out on as well, and when you looked out the living room window all you can see is ocean! We would definitely come back and stay again, and highly recommend it!

Unfortunately the north shore was flat while we were there in the summer but I’m sure it’s a lovely surf spot in the winter. Close by surf breaks and boards at the property or borrow. Beach front oasis with outdoor shower and updated furnishings. Parking was the only tricky thing as we rented a truck and it’s a tight turn out of the spot.

The house is an absolute gem. Situated right on the beach you can hear the ocean even with the tv on. It’s very well appointed and has a nice mid-century modern vibe to it.
ACs work really well in the bedroom as well as the living area. Internet was absolutely solid and the smart tv was great as well. The beach isn’t super swimmable right out front, but a hop skip and a jump down there is a nice non-reefed section to float around in. Just a shorter distance down and there is a very swimmable beach.
You are 1mile from either going left, or right, to get to Matsumoto, Banzai Bowls (must try) and a collection of shops and restaurants. The only “knock” would be that the bedroom doesn’t have ocean views, or sound, but the property description doesn’t allude to it having it, it’s would just make this property an 11/10 instead of a 10/10.
Do yourself a favor and skip the hustle and bustle of Honolulu/Waikiki and/or further north and stay here. Host is great, neighbors are great and just an all around solid property.

Such a great place right on the beach with an amazing patio. We enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning and dinner as we watched the sunset. The beach which is just steps away was great for walks, snorkeling, and paddle boarding.

The duplex is beautiful, well maintained, and top of the line appliances. The wrap around porch/lanai leads directly to the beach. We started every morning having coffee on the lounge chairs on the lanai watching the ocean and finished every evening on the lanai watching the sunset. We would 100% return.
A couple of things that could be improved. One, the beach chairs were rusty and wouldn't stay folded, making them very hard to carry. Honestly, I think they should just be thrown out. Two, the bed frame is for a king-sized mattress, but the mattress is a queen. The frame sticks out and my husband ran into it repeatedly. Third, it would have been lovely to have screen doors on all of the patio doors. However, even with just the back patio door and the bedroom/bathroom windows open, there was always a beautiful breeze, and we only used the air conditioning once during our stay.
Also, after we were approved, we were told that we'd need to pay a substantial amount for an additional, insurance policy or leave a substantial cash deposit, to be returned after our trip. This was in addition to the policy included in the listing. The property is gorgeous, and I can understand the owner's desire to ensure it is not damaged, but I feel like that information should be available to potential renters on the Vrbo page and not come as a surprise after you are approved as a renter.

We loved this beachfront home along the Northshore. We enjoyed the lanai that overlooks the Ocean and walked down a few steps to access the beach. There is a park at each end of the beach with shade trees and picnic tables. The home has a great retro decor that made it feel like it was ours. The kitchen has a full size Fridge and range where we were able to prepare breakfast every morning as well as dinners when we wanted to sit on the lanai and watch the sunset. It is a short drive to the local shopping market in Hale’iwa, where we enjoyed Matsumoto’s shave ice, Ray’s Kiawe Broiled Chicken(A weekend must!) , Giovanni’s Shrimp truck, and many other great food trucks and shopping. We also took a short drive north to Waimea Valley where they have a great beach park, a botanical Garden and waterfall and enjoyed the Toa Luau(Be sure to book ahead of time). The location of the home along a semi private beach was perfect for us. We will definitely be back to stay again!!

Property is as described. Check in/check out was seemless. Recent reno was well done with excellent finishes. Easy access to Haleiwa. Outlet in the carport for vehicle charging. Directly in front of avalanche surf break.

Our second trip to this wonderful spot, it is now our favorite place to stay when visiting Oahu! The recent updates make the space even more comfortable and inviting. It is exactly as pictured and the house has everything needed for a relaxing stay. The beach is literally just steps away and was never crowded during our trip. Monti is a gem of a host and always responds quickly to questions. We are already planning a return trip next year.

This place is fantastic. Close to shops but far enough away to get peace and quiet. The beach right outside the door. Samuel was a great host. No hiccups on check in. Would definitely stay again and refer to friends and family!

I had trouble getting a hold of the property manager when I had an issue.

This house is perfect. We drank coffee on the deck every morning and then walked 15 mins down the beach to Haleiwa for a proper surf check. Access to the rest of the North Shore and Island is prime. Neighborhood was friendly and quiet. Best for a couple or family.

Property was exactly as described and in photos. Sam was great to work with and even came over in a few minutes when we accidentally locked ourselves out. This is a great location right on the beach.

Perfect place to stay on the North Shore. I would definitely come back to this house! Right on the beach, close to town, and next to the harbor! The neighbors are amazing too.

Loved this property. It was perfect for my friend and me as a home base. The kitchen is beautiful, you have direct beach access, and it's a 5-minute drive to anything you'd need. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a romantic long weekend here. Haleiwa town is walkable and there is a food truck across from Kaiaka Park nearby. Excellent decor (even a playable guitar) with every surf house convenience and facility, including outdoor shower, beach chairs and towels...even a yoga mat. Our hosts have thought of everything!

A perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the North Shore has to offer.
The beach is beautiful and right outside the door. The owner was great to work with as well.

Tucked away on a quiet street with the beach at your back door. The home is clean and quiet with only the sound of birds and waves. Lovely sunrises and a rainbow one morning. Easy driving access to stores and restaurants. About 45-50 mins to airport/Honolulu. We were always eager to get “home” away from the traffic and bustle. A perfect spot for relaxation.

My husband and I rented this house for our wedding on the North Shore in September and it was the most perfect spot we could have stayed. The house is beautifully styled with a midcentury vibe and the kitchen / bathroom / bedroom had been updated since I made our reservation, so it was even nicer than I expected! The lanai overlooking the ocean is stunning and the beach is great. It was really nice to be at such close proximity to the town of Haleiwa, but all of the north shore was within a quick, beautiful drive. A lot of our friends and family who travelled to the north shore for our wedding didn't have AC at their rentals, so we were extra appreciative that we did... but if you're not big on AC, there was always a really nice breeze. Highly recommend this spot - we definitely hope to come back and stay again!

Unit itself was great- perfect size for a couple. Everything was super comfy. Deck and beach access are amazing and the location was great. I would absolutely stay here again.
If there are tenants in the unit next door and they play music, you can hear it pretty well. It wasn’t problematic at all, but just something to note if you’re looking to guarantee total quiet. Highly recommend in general!

We loved our stay & have a new favorite beach in Hawaii. Fresh Airs was magical, peaceful & felt nearly private. The home is right on the sand & nicely remodeled. The bed is comfy, the shower is warm & the host was very accommodating. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved our stay here and can’t wait to go back! We stayed here for a week and loved every minute of it. Very quiet, peaceful, and romantic.
Pros:
Quiet neighborhood
Well appointed kitchen (pots, pans, silverware, dishes, coffeemaker, toaster, dishwasher, microwave/convection oven, full stove, fridge, newly redone cabinetry)
On the beach! There’s a little foot traffic past the house, but not much
New heat pump mini splits to keep the house cool
Great view of the sunset
Paddle board and surfboards available for use
Charcoal grill
Washer and dryer
Cons:
Too windy to safely use charcoal grill anywhere near the house
Not much in the way of food delivery nearby
Roaches- but roaches are pretty endemic in Hawaii. If you stay in a place where you think there are none, you have them, you just don’t see them. Wash the dishes before use and store all your food in the fridge and you will be fine. We only saw a couple in the kitchen, and large ones that were outside like you would see in Louisiana or San Diego
Walls were thin
Neighbors sometimes park in a way that make it difficult to get in/out of the car port
Bed frame is larger than the bed, making it easy to skin a shin on it

This townhouse is very comfortable and the AC is great! The view from the living room is lovely, featuring gorgeous sunsets every night. The 5k deposit is excessive and we wouldn’t rent again with that stipulation. Also, for the price being charged, the refrigerator should be upgraded (& at least have a handle). Samuel was great with communicating and fixing a few house issues quickly.

Stunning views and newly renovated.
When I got there I was upgraded to the 2 bedroom side of the house. Renovations were just complete and they are beautiful. The view was amazing and all the ocean toys we could need. Stand up paddle board, surf board, boogieboard. The whole house has AC and the beds were amazing.

Postcard Worthy
My wife and I decided to elope to Hawaii for our wedding/honeymoon. We stayed here for 8 nights and were thrilled with the house and its location! We were so sad when it came time to leave. The beach was beautiful and so private; we probably saw, at most, 15 people out on the beach at one time. We saw tons of turtles in the water each day, especially in the afternoons, and we loved how Monti had some snorkeling gear to use. The sunrise/sunset at the house was like nothing we’ve ever experienced before. The house is located very closely to a park, and each morning I would take a 5-10 minute walk to the park from the house where you can simultaneously see the beach and beautiful mountain views. We loved how closely the house was located to downtown Haleiwa. We also appreciated how comfortable the bed was! We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. We can’t say enough how much we loved our stay here.
