Almira Hotel is a little gem in Skiathos! George, Anna and their staff treat all their guests like family. They all go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy. The hotel is kept very clean inside and outside and the food is great!

We stayed one week in this beautiful location. Everything was perfect. Anna and Iorghus take care of their guests and make their job with love and passion. The position was perfect because close to the Troulos beach (3 min walking) and close to the bus stop to go to the famous beaches of the isle. Also, renting a car, with 15 minutes driving you can arrive at the beautiful and exclusive beaches in the north of the isle. Everything was really amazing and perfect. We would like to stay more!! We’ll definitely come back!!

I loved the whole complex. It is a family-run mini-resort/hotel with excellent customer service. A really upmarket restaurant with local food is available on the premises for very reasonable prices. We were upgraded to a bigger apartment on our arrival free of charge. The rooms have air conditioning, equipped kitchen, mosquito nets, and a TV with Netflix. The nearby beach is really lovely, sandy with a shower, toilet and 4 bars and cafes. The hotel is more 4-star than 3-star, all new and fresh, spotless. The owner is available on-premises and really cares about their guests. We were recommended a few restaurants in town to eat and there were perfect too. It is located by the bus stop to get to town and other beaches. The whole island was a pleasant surprise for us. Suitable also for families with nice shady areas, the beach has some pine trees with a natural shade too. Easy access to town and other beaches. I would love to come again soon!

The staff was absolutely amazing, everybody was so warm and welcoming. The location was great, right near Trolous beach and close to a bus stop.

Great location, quiet and secluded but only a very short walk from the beach, supermarkets and a good choice of Bars and Tavernas.
Food and service in the restaurant was first class, all areas were spotlessly clean and the gardens were beautiful and very well maintained.
Live music and Greek dancing nights in the bar area on a couple of evenings. Excellent Pool with plenty of seating and sun beds around the pool and gardens.
Sandy, sheltered beach with beds and parasols, water sports and boat hire at very reasonable rates, some restaurants and Tavernas next to the beach.
All hotel staff were welcoming and attentive.
Small well equipped kitchen including hobs, oven and good sized fridge meant we had the extra flexibility make meals ourselves and enjoy them sitting on our balcony overlooking the gardens and the pool.
Excellent air conditioning, soundproofing and shutters meant we had comfortable quiet nights and slept well.
Large car park, short drive to other beaches, and the the beautiful Skiathos historic port. If you don’t have a car, the hotel is 100yards from the bus stops with frequent buses or taxis are easily available.
I have stayed in many famous hotels and 5 star resorts around the world, the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, the simple yet really well thought out facilities, the genuine care and attention of the staff have made the Almira one of my favourites.
It is a great place to unwind and I wish I had stayed longer.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Almira, in fact I already have.
Hot water was a bit hit and miss, sometimes plenty, sometimes only Luke warm but it was hot weather so not a major problem.

The grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and inviting. Many of the rooms are newly renovated (ours was at least), while others may not yet have been.
The location is a convenient (flat) ~400 meters from the beach (not beachfront, but not far).
The pool area is stylish and comfortable, with numerous loungers and garden furniture.
The bar (and restaurant) seems popular with guests and non-guests alike. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service and staff (Aris especially) are attentive and excellent.
The new owners/operators are very warm and welcoming.
The hotel and restaurant staff are all very hard working, exceptionally friendly, and absolutely go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable (especially Aris who is a rockstar and even struck up a playful friendship with our toddler over the course of our stay).
All other support and cleaning staff are also very friendly and professional.
Would definitely recommend and stay again!

A minor miscommunication regarding our arrival and airport shuttle availability (ended up hiring a taxi), was quickly compensated for with a warm, passionate, and accommodating reception and stay.

Bar and seating area spacious bright and very clean. Breakfast menu value for money large portions.
Anna and George the owners take there time to have a chat with guests and are very informative about this pretty island. As a 1st time solo traveller I would highly recommend .

We stayed at Almira Hotel for 2 weeks in August and it was just the perfect solution for us! We are simple guys but we like our comforts, and Almira just makes you feel like home. The owners and the stuff are very friendly and ready to help you in whatever you need. They also find for us a good deal for a car rent. We think this place is nice both for families and for couples like us in search for a little escape from reality. The rooms are cleaned daily and very comfortable (only thing I would say, if you have long/difficult hair, bring your own hair dryer as the one they provide is wall-mounted and not very powerful). The pool is big and has both an area dedicated to children and one for adults that goes 2 meters deep. The atmosphere is enlivened by music at the bar. The hotel is situated near Troulos beach, a nice and peaceful beach that you can reach by foot in just a few minutes, and a little supermarket. When we arrived we were also pleased by a room upgrade offered by the kind owners, Anna and George. Thank you for the beautiful memories!!!

We had a wonderful time at Almira Hotel. The Place is clean, beautiful, Great for Kids with a big Pool and Garden, Food at the Restaurant very Good and friendly Service.
