Amazing property where the kids and dog could run free. Genuinely friendly and caring hosts.
The property is a long way out of town. Great for freedom and fun but not very convenient for short stays.

The cottage was beautiful and so homely. The decor was lovely, the bed was huge. It was a home away from home. I was greeted straight away by Elizabeth's smiling face and felt so welcomed. The location was stunning out in the farm with a million stars overhead.

Mascot was a working property a distance out of town. we did not realise it was quite as far and were treated to a wonderful welcome and a very warm cottage upon our arrival and “can I cook you some diner?” could not have been more blessed or asked for more. Liz and family are absolutely delightful hosts.

Spacious and comfortable. Lovely lawn and garden area for our dog. Heating worked well. Working farm.
Quite a rough road to access property. No stove only microwave and bbq was on verandah of main house and not very clean.

We blew a tyre on the unsealed road. The owner drove out and assisted us. She then cooked dinner for us. The following morning, she arranged tyre check in WW. This was exceptional service and kindness and was greatly appreciated.

Beautiful country stay, peace and quiet. We took up the offer of dinner which was beautiful. Dinner was a Great option as its not close to amenities. Will definitely stay again.

Great location, quiet. Could see every star in the sky. The owners were lovely and could not have been more helpful. Beds were comfy and facilities clean and well looked after. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quick over night stay or even that longer bit of time away from it all.

We did not get our breakfast. However, everything was excellent!!!!! The only thing I was disappointed about was we did not get to see, or cuddle, any baby lambs. Thank you very much Liz!!!!!

Mascot Cottage is a hidden gem. A longish section of dirt road into the property good condition) and the drive is so worth it. Well away from the hurly-burly and with a yard of lambs as neighbours! it's an idyllic setting. Liz is such a warm and welcoming host who provided (for small extra cost) a delicious home cooked meal that night- a real essential as you probably don't want to trek back into town and home again in the dark. The living area is cosy but the bedrooms are very spacious. We were two couples and were very comfortable. It was all very clean and the kitchen, which is also small, was very well equipped. We unfortunately had to leave early next day as we could have easily settled in for a peaceful few days.
