This first floor luxury 3 BR Isle of Palms oceanfront condo is just steps to the ocean. With direct access to the beach directly from your balcony, experience some of South Carolina's most pristine beach. The building itself is located right next door to The Windjammer, a restaurant / bar that also serves as a live music venue with both indoor and outdoor performances. Any costs to repair or replace an item, fixture, or furnishing found damaged after your stay must be compensated by you. All damage and replacement costs include a labor charge.
6) Smoking, Vaping, and Parties of any kind are strictly forbidden.
7) Guests agree to follow the cancellation policy at the time of booking, and agree to any cancellation fee that may apply in the event of a cancellation. Guests agree there are no exceptions to the policy including illness, travel restrictions due to weather, and reasons related to Covid-19. Travel Insurance is offered to cover losses for cancellations during full penalty cancellation period.
10) Guests should inspect the property upon checking-in and notify Management of any issues, damage, missing amenities, or unsatisfactory conditions. Asked wife and kids to meet me in isle of palms at this property id found and it was great! Had pool to ourselves and could throw a rock from porch to beach. Plenty of room for everyone. 2&6 yr old had a ball and 18 yr old, wife and myself enjoyed privacy and proximity to everything. Hope its available next time we're craving the beach!

The property was the ideal size for our family of 4. The views were incredible and it was fun being able to hear the live music next door. The location is great, with all the fun restaurants right there to enjoy (Papi’s twice, piña coladas at Coconut Joe’s a few times, and Acme Low Country Kitchen 3 times!). Despite the unseasonably cold/overcast/windy/rainy weather, we tried to make the most of our stay. The beach access is incredible and we would definitely stay again (hopefully with warmer weather)!

Wonderful place to stay. Our view was beautiful. The condo was clean and everything we needed was provided. The location was great. We would stay again.

We loved the condo. We enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was they were replacing all of the hand railing in the building. The workers used our deck for one day and had all their tools, coats and drinks on our deck and table. I They were also painting all the wrought iron fencing around the pool and front gate, while we were there. We were not notified before our visit of all the maintenance that would be going on. There was a letter posted in the elevator with dates of all maintenance.

We had a great time staying at Amy’s place. It was just exactly as listed. Everything was clean and comfortable. Wonderful access to beach and pool. Walking distance to so many restaurants. We loved the live music next door. We had great seats for the show on our patio. We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The property managers were kind and extremely attentive. Well appointed and a fantastic view of the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.
My only caution is for those traveling with young ones who still take naps or go to bed early…the bar next door hosts concerts….hours and hours of very very loud music. The sounds test process started around 3pm (sadly is was death metal and was beyond awful) and lasted until the concert at night. All can be heard clearly inside with all doors closed. The concert was so loud, even a movie or tv cannot be watched inside the condo. All is over by 10 or 11 depending on the day of the week. It was no problem for our crew but traveling with young ones would be a totally different story. If you love live music, you can see the concert clearly and feel like you are getting a front row experience with the comforts of your own space!

This condo is PERFECT! The patio overlooks the pool and beach. So close to bars and restaurants but it is QUIET!! I'll be back for sure. Only tip...If you're driving, take a cooler. They have plenty of chairs...just need the cooler!!

We had a wonderful time at this condo. It's located right next to the downtown area, which means you'll have access to many restaurants and a few coffee shops. As you can see from the pictures, the condo has a big balcony - we ate dinner at the table almost every night and could even watch dolphins. The condo is beautifully decorated. As a family of 4, we had tons of room to spread out. I highly recommend this place!

Enjoy this area. Bummer that the Windjammer Bar & Grill put up a large canopy tent (no control of #101 condo). Blocks that wonderful view of the full beach and the sunrise. Not a big fan of taking a vacation, to discover I still have to do some housework at a rental....(I think this is becoming the normal, unless you stay at a hotel?). If not for those minor items... I'd give this unit a 5 star.

We stayed here for a 4 night girl’s trip when my teaching daughter was on her Election Day break…The condo was amazing on the inside and out!! We loved the short walk off the balcony to the pool and beach!! We also loved that we could walk to get our meals!! It was just a short drive into Charleston too which we enjoyed for a day!! I hope we can come back here for another trip soon because it was awesome😊😊

We loved this condo, it was everything they said it was. Very clean, great location, easy access to the beach. This condo had wonderful views from sun up to sunset. We were able to get great family photos. We enjoyed seeing ships come in and ships going out. We were even able to watch surfers one morning. Great restaurants very close buy, we loved Sea Biscuit, Long Island cafe, Acme. Would love to stay here again!

Condo with a view
Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo! We could look out the window and have a view of the pool and the ocean! It was so nice having a bathroom for each bedroom. We really liked being able to walk right off our deck to go to the pool and beach. The owners had beach chairs so this lightened our packing. Each condo has a storage room under the condos for your beach equipment. Next time we will take our bicycles and park them inside the room. We were able to walk to local restaurants with Acme being ur favorite. Right next door is the Windjammer. They have outside concerts most nights. From our balcony we had a free view. If you like the music, this is a plus. If you don’t, the good news is they are finished by 9:00-9:15.

We lined up our trip around Windjammer concerts that we wanted to see. Direct view into the stage on the beach from our ocean front patio. It was great!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants and bars! And a terrific view of the Ocean from our large outside patio! The unit was spacious for our entire family and very clean and newer furnishings! Can’t wait to come back in the future!

In case it wasn't clear to you, the bunk beds are two double beds - could easily sleep four children. Two couples and four small kids would be totally comfortable. The kitchen is unusually well-equipped for a rental property, with lots of dishes and glassware as well as a large array of cooking pieces and utensils. There are glass sliders from both the living room and the master bedroom which open up onto a deck overlooking the pool. The deck has both some chairs for sitting as well as a high-top table for six. Just past the pool is a wooden walkway to the gorgeous beach...so convenient! It was literally a 1-2 minute walk from the deck to the beach. The view of the ocean from the deck is amazing.
As stated, the condo is right next door to the Windjammer, a bar that plays live music almost nightly. This, of course, has its pros and cons. If you like live music, it is great. The bands do stop nightly at 10 p.m., but you should be aware that it is quite loud from 6 to 10. The sound insulation for the condo is surprisingly good, so once the bands stop playing, the sounds of the people partying at the bar truly do not interfere with sleep.
The condo comes with six beach chairs you can use, but there are no other beach amenities (e.g., beach towels, coolers, beach toys, etc.) so you should plan accordingly. Just bring an insulated grocery bag. Beach towels can be rented in advance of your stay and be waiting for you upon arrival. There is a company on the beach that rents chaise lounges and umbrellas...a little pricey but high quality. There are a number of fun places to eat and drink within a short walking distance to the condo unit, but there are also lots of other great things to do in the area. We took an excellent eco-tour by boat, visited Fort Sumter by ferry, and took a fantastic walking tour of Charleston. Nearby Shem Creek is a really enjoyable area with restaurants and bars on the water. There is also fabulous fine dining in Charleston (about 25 minutes away), but be sure to look into reservations far in advance for the super-special places like Husk, Fig and Magnolia's.
The owner was extremely responsive throughout the process as was the maintenance company who manages the property. When I had a question or concern, they responded extremely promptly.

Luckily my husband threw the breaker and got it started again. Then the next day as it gob warmer we noticed the AC was not working. We tried changing the filter and restarting it, but that did not work. Our last afternoon and evening there were most uncomfortable. You do not need to show this on your site. I just wanted to let you know that the maintenance crew needs to keep a closer look on the place.

Staying here over the weekend was like two totally separate experiences.
Most of the time it was a perfectly located condo walkable to everything in IOP, accessible for those with limited mobility, nicely remodeled and furnished, with a super well-equipped kitchen. Kids loved the bunk room, perfectly-sized pool, and easy beach access. Grown ups appreciated the ample parking, elevator, full-size washer dryer, kitchen including things like Tupperware and a dedicated ice maker, gas grill, and beach supplies like chairs. There was a strong smell of fabreeze on the master bed when we arrived and we ended up washing the sheets after our first night since the smell persisted so strongly. The lights are also very bright white and not all dimmable so at times it feels like an operating room in the kitchen. Not big deals by any stretch and the great far outweighed the not so great.
The second experience was from about 2:30-9:30 on the nights the windjammer had concerts. They began testing speakers and blaring AC/DC so loudly in the middle of the afternoon that the walls and floor were shaking even with the doors closed. So much for that nap we had planned. This persisted through sound check and the concert itself was so loud we couldn’t really enjoy it from the deck (which is about 15 feet from the windjammer deck and on level with the speakers). What we expected to be a fun evening concert felt like an assault on our senses and made it impossible to be comfortable in the condo during the concert hours.
The noise from the windjammer persisted well after the concert ended at 9:30. Hope you like drunk girls wooing at top volume coming straight through a single pane window. The police let us know that there is actually NOT a noise ordinance in effect from 10p-10a as noted in the condo welcome guide and that the noise was as expected of the windjammer at night. In hindsight, I should have read the word “infamous” used in the listing to describe the windjammer and run, but I let the other features override that concern and lived to regret it.
On the balance, I’d stay here again if there was no concert or if it was a concert for which I wanted private box seats. But want to be sure to leave an honest review of our experience to help other families plan accordingly.

Spacious & Updated Beachfront Getaway
We were pleasantly surprised with how open and spacious the unit was. The decor and furnishings are contemporary and styled well. Proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops on IOP is unbeatable. Our only issue was cleanliness. Most of the bedspreads and some of the pillowcases had small stains. We had to pre-wash some pots and pans before use due to food residue. One of the two dish towels in the kitchen had been wadded up dirty and crammed into a drawer. The fridge has a pungent seafood smell, which started to fade by our second day there thanks to a box of baking soda that was there when we arrived. Worst of all was a used condom I discovered behind the night stand when I went to plug in my phone charger. We still had a nice stay but the cleanliness could be improved.

Ocean front condo on IOP front Beach
Beautiful, well appointed condo on the beach with an elevator and garage parking. Clean, newly renovated and lovely. Great for families with kids but in our case perfect for my parents and aunt who have mobility issues.
