Spacious comfy living area

A really lovely property that has plenty of space for 6 people. The downstairs is a great entertaining space for meals and games. We used the property to meet up for a social break away with friends. Lots of facilities and well equipped. Location is also great as central to lots of places. Nearby pubs serving good food and drink.

Nothing…..a downstairs toilet would have been useful at times.

A fabulous place with so much space- we loved it!

Beautiful, spacious, modern property which had absolutely everything we could possibly need. All of the facilities were perfect and we didn’t want for a single thing during our stay- outstanding!

The only slight downside to this property are the steps you have to go first down and then up to access the front door. They are not for those with mobility issues but fine if you’re good on your feet.

Perfect, cosy, well equipped holiday house for a family getaway.

This is a deceptively spacious house with every amenity we needed, and more. We've never stayed somewhere quite so well equipped before. It was lovely and warm for our stay and we were provided with everything we needed plus treats! Tina couldn't have been more helpful.

We liked it all.

Internet speed, but we have our own WiFi so it wasn't as much of an issue.

Exceptional place to stay with everything anyone could need. Adds to the reputation of Shepley.

Clear instructions for access to parking and the keys to the house were provided by e-mail a few days before we arrived. The whole interior and facilities were top class. Before buying anything you think you might need check under the stairs or under the sink. Everything conceivable was already available. Food shopping is a very short walk away at the Coop mini market, or a Chinese/Thai takeaway. Cooking facilities for a whole family have been provided. I wish our own home was as good as Copley Loft. For those without a car, Shepley station (hourly service between Huddersfield and Sheffield) is 10 minutes walk away.

As the name suggests this is a loft. Kitchen and lounge areas are impeccable, but the bedrooms have sloping ceilings. So, walk around the beds in the dark with care. The single bathroom and toilet for 5 needs a well coordinated plan. Get used to steps. There are 11 from the car park to the patio, 7 from the patio to the entrance, and 14 to get to the bedrooms. I was a lot fitter after our stay (;-). The Black Bull pub across the road is not worth visiting - horrible boutique beers, and nothing like the welcoming Yorkshire pub I had imagined. However, none of these issues, since they were all easily resolved, detracted from the exceptional pleasures of staying at Copley Loft.

Amazing stay

Loved the whole place it was great and worked perfectly for us

As a personal preference allowing dogs would means we could come every time we visited family, but thats obviously just us and to suit our own needs

A couple of extra mugs would have been helpful and a couple were chipped and cracked but literally picking here. It was a fantastic apartment

The house is superb. Couldn't ask for anything more. It was clean and had everything we needed.

Leaving! The kids were gutted and had a little cry! Was by far the nicest place we have stayed.

Lovely bright and airy accommodation. Lovely welcoming bottle of wine and coffee machine with pods available. Comfy beds and the kids loved the ice maker on the fridge freezer! Close to shop and a pub. X

Just lovely!!

Copley Loft was really clean and comfortable and very spacious.

The only thing - and it's more of a 'would be nice to have' - it would be great if there were more bowls, plates and cutlery.

Really lovely few days in a really lovely house

Really lovely house, clean and lovingly finished. Nice additional touches were a bottle of wine and some coffee pods thank you.

The only thing I’d change was the toilet paper! Everything else was very good!

fantastic property

it was clean, comfortable and spacious. it was an ideal location for visiting Cannon Hall Farm, which was the purpose of our trip, There is also lots of history behind the property.

We could have done with a second toilet at times.

Beautiful central base

Loved our stay here. Plenty of space for 6 of us. Everything you need and very comfortable. Great location. Lovely little village with pub and a co-op right on the door step. There’s also a park but unfortunately due to covid this was shut. We had a day out in Leeds, a day in holmfirth, a trip to Denby dale and trip to Digley reservoir. Would recommend and hope to stay again.

The little path down the side to the main street, very tight and knocked my shoulder on the drain pipe going up the steps, so watch out for that.
