Decepcionante

No me gustó nada. Solamente reconozco que es un sitio tranquilo.

Me pareció que no se corresponde con lo que se publicita. Es un castillo de categoría ** La habitación era vieja, deteriorada, todo muy antiguo y olor a cerrado. Las cortinas de la habitación agobiantes. No tiene armario, simplemente un perchero porque una armario muy antiguo que había olía a cerrado y nada práctico. Las puertas y suelos viejísimos y deteriorados. Cristales sucios y bichos del jardín dentro de la habitación. No tenía aire acondicionado, solamente un ventilador de pie… El desayuno deja mucho que desear y muy escaso. El baño muy regular y tanto el jabón como el papel estaban empezados. No había ni champú ni crema. La luz de la mesilla estaba estropeada. El personal no muy amable. Las fotos de la publicidad parecen mucho mejores de lo que es en realidad. Muy lejos de las expectativas que tenía. Nada recomendable. No volvería nunca más.

A lovely small chateau in the Loire valley

If it is a beautiful grand 19th century villa, set in the middle of a big park, with a nice swimming pool overlooking a verdant valley is what you are looking for, then you came to the right place. Staff is accommodating and friendly, rooms are spacious and the small restaurant makes simple and delicious meals. We loved it

It would have been nice if there was an airco

Un oasis en un castillo

Relax y tranquilidad, al lado de Angers, desayunos y cenas con vistas al bosque y piscina, rodeados de jardines y con una calidad extraordinaria de los desayunos y cenas así como de los crepes de media tarde, tumbonas, piscina y silencio para relajarte y recorrer el Loira o simplemente descansar. La cama y las almohadas comodísimas, silencio por todo el entorno y siempre atentos en ayudar. Repetiríamos sin duda alguna

Fabuleux

Un 'endroit fabuleux ! L'hôtel est magnifique le cadre somptueux à l écart de la grande ville mais proche du tram. Nous'aurions aimé nous baigner où prendre le petit déjeuner dehors si le temps l avait permis. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil l" accueil irréprochable. Le must du must le petit déjeuner...une merveille. Vraiment vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir

Ideal stop for our one night stay driving back from northern Spain

Unusual hotel with character. Lovely heated swimming pool. Great room service . Good powerful hot shower. Room well equipped. Easy parking

Shame no restraunt, but good food available brought in and served very well. To eat in breakfast room area, bed room or outside

This is a good find as a place to stop on our way from or to UK or to or from our house in Dordogne.

Le repas du soir proche de trikatel mais au prix chateau rien de fait sur place pas de personnel en cuisine .tout est triste sans saveurs mm le vin au prix .cela me fait mal a lafrance .suite au repas nous avons mm annule nos petits déjeuner.

Great views and a pleasant stay

Very relaxing hotel. Quiet with lovely views. The room was a little bit functional but it was their classic double . If we go again would upgrade. Didn’t have breakfast as off early . Would stay there again

The bed was ok but have slept on more comfortable ones .

Fairytale chateau in beautiful setting with a few minor flaws

It’s an absolutely stunning property in a fairytale setting! The Chateau is so picturesque and the pool is perfectly positioned with an amazing view across the valley. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

We stayed in a room in the chateau as well as in the annex which is about double the price as the rooms. For the rooms in the chateau, there is no lift which means you have to carry all your luggage up the stairs (I suppose that’s part of the charme of a chateau but maybe one to call out for those with a lot of luggage). Whilst the room we stayed in in the chateau was quite polished and finished well, I felt the annex has been done cheaply and felt unfinished which is disappointing considering the huge price difference. Some examples: the water is running out of the shower causing a flood when showering, the toilet seat was broken and no basin in in the toilet to wash hands although there’s enough space plus the kitchen isn’t equipped properly (there are no table spoons and no oven gloves etc).

A wonderful experience - highly recommended

A beautiful property in a fabulous setting. The staff were exceptionally helpful and obliging. The breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and beautifully presented. We enjoyed sampling the local produce on a fabulous terrace. Would also recommend a visit to the island which is a 5 minute walk away.

Stunning

Beautiful Chateau situated just outside the centre. Grounds absolutely stunning. Lovely terrace - so good to sit by the lavender with a drink in the peaceful surroundings. Rooms spacious and very clean and comfortable. Easy cycle ride into the centre.

Situated near a park with lots of walking and cycling options. Hotel was delightful and staff were excellent. Recommend this to all my friends. Fabulous.

Stunning property and location.

The hotel was beautiful and peaceful. It’s a lovely location but is also very tastefully restored inside. We had one of the standard rooms and it was extremely well appointed for the price we paid. We ate outside on the terrace and it felt very special.

Beautiful chateau in its own grounds with a swimming pool and landscaped garden. A lift gave us easy access to the room on the second floor. A bottle of filtered water was provided. Tea/ coffee making facilities in room.Easy parking. Friendly check-in staff spoke English.

Bedside lighting not convenient. Nowhere to hang towel for shower in bathroom. Breakfast we thought was expensive at 17 Euro each.

Superb

The château was very comfortable in a beautiful setting. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The pool area was clean and well equipped with plenty of sunbeds and towels. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options.

There was nothing to dislike.

The Château is super nice, the rooms are a bit little but the common areas are great and comfy. We loved the breakfast.
