We loved this house! Great location in relation to the City! Fun restaurants in Etna. Wonderful outdoor space!! And we used the hot tub a lot!! Andrew answered all of our questions quickly!! Highly recommend staying here!!

Very nice and simple place to stay. We are a family at 5, 3 kids (4,7,11) and 2 adults. We really enjoyed our stay. And the kids absolutely love the hot tub. It’s a very beautiful outside space unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to use it much. The curvy driveway took us by a slight surprise at first, but we had no issues getting up and down in a large SUV. Andrew was super nice and called me immediately when I had a question. I would recommend staying here.

We came out to Pittsburgh from Lancaster to attend the Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State wrestling Tournament. We booked this home last minute when our previous vrbo notified us of a double booking just a few days before our trip. Andrew was super accommodating to our situation, and made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed for our stay. The home was very clean, and welcoming. Andrew answered all of our questions and was extremely prompt in all of his responses. 10/10 recommend this home, we enjoyed the hot tub and the privateness of the home while loving its central location to all of Pittsburgh’s main attractions. If you need a place to grab dinner while staying here we also highly recommend Alioto’s Sports Bar, only a 2 min drive from the house, they had wonderful food and atmosphere at reasonable prices. Thank you Andrew, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at any of your properties in the future!

The home was nice. The restroom on the top floor had not been cleaned. Someone used the restroom prior to us coming and left remnants in and on the toilet. The owner was very pleasant and responsible.
We couldn't sit outside as the cushions were left out in the rain and not in the storage bin.
Good location. Close to several stores.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay in what we felt like was a treehouse. We had everything we needed, comfortable beds, and made great use of the hot tub. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The property was beautiful and covered in autumn trees and leaves. We were just minutes from downtown, where we attended a Steelers game, and took in some other sights. We would love to stay again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good location and nice property! The house was clean and comfortable. The hot tub and fire pit were nice as well, making for some very pleasant evenings. The driveway was a bit tricky for my friends with larger cars, although I avoided the problem altogether by parking on the street.

We had a great weekend in Pittsburgh with family. Enjoyed a Phillies/Pirates game and bonfire with s’mores on the deck!

My family and I rented this house for a weekend and had plenty of room inside and out. We spent a lot time in the patio/deck/hot tub area which was amazingly well suited for adults and 7-9 year-old kids. Internet and TV access was amazing. Andrew was the perfect host/proprietor: completely accessible by email and text. This was our first time all together since my wife passed and it we are very grateful to have a place to stay that really felt like home.

This house is so relaxing! The yard is very green and quiet and has all the amenities to kick back and hang out. The hosts couldn’t be nicer, they’re so responsive and accommodating. Also big plus, they keep baby/child items around including a baby gate. Definitely recommend staying here.

The house was awesome, you feel like you are at the top of a mountain in a tree house with all the comforts of home. The house has everything you need and the outside decks, hot tub, fire pit etc are amazing. Highly recommended. Great access to the city and other attractions.

Had a great stay over Christmas. Was cold and icy but the steep driveway was not an issue to get up. Outdoor space is fantastic but very cold when we were there so we only took advantage of the hot tub. The house has private access to a wooded trail where we saw deer and bobcat tracks. We were there for a Steelers game and only about 10 mins drive to the stadium. The area around the house is suburban - very close to a shop n save and Aldi but need to go downtown or across the river for some better restaurant options. House is well stocked and comfortable and the owner is extremely responsive - always texting back within minutes.

We visited Pittsburgh for a swim event. The beautiful property helped our family bring our dog with us and explore Pittsburgh for the first time. We hope to come back soon! Loved the hot tub in the snowy weather.

Great family getaway
Our first two grandchildren were born last year and we gathered here to get us all together for the first time. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for a great family reunion and we really appreciated all the amenities. There was one problem with one of the two refrigerators that the owner took care of immediately in a manner that far exceeded our expectations. All considered, this was a great experience.

Great home to rent
House was very clean and well equipped with everything one would need on a vacation. The owner was responsive to all questions and concerns both prior to and during our stay. Outside was beautiful with a firepit and hot tub both which were relaxing. Would highly recommend this home . Thanks Andrew. Linda

A Wonderful Experience
I was very pleased with this property! It provided my family and I a much needed get away by providing privacy while providing quick access to the city and many activities. The host was very good with communication and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay.
There was plenty of space both indoors and outdoors so that we weren't on top of each other. Beds, and chairs were comfortable to help us rest during our off times. Although we didnt use them during our stay the amount of televisions (even one outside near the hot tub) were welcome additions.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly to others looking for a place to stay!

Family Pittsburgh Getaway
We had a wonderful stay. The space was perfect for our three generations of family and the location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. The hot tub was the biggest hit. The outdoor dining table was perfect for gathering our large family together. The outdoor space allowed you to feel immersed in nature and yet be close to everything the city had to offer. Communications with Andrew made everything go smoothly. Hoping to stay in this amazing house on our future trips to Pittsburgh! Thanks so much!

Convenient access to Pittsburgh downtown locations, close to several excellent breweries and restaurants. The house was very nice, being tucked away in the woods offered a sense of seclusion. Andrew was very friendly and communicative, answering messages nearly immediately. The outdoor space was very enjoyable with a nice gas grill, ample space to eat and play games, a firepit and hot tub - due to the nice weather we spent a good bit of time out there. The host also included paint and brushes on the table outside, encouraging guests to leave their mark by painting a river rock and adding it to the bed around the house.
We'll be back!

Family reunion weekend
We truly enjoyed our weekend in hilltop retreat. The pictures on the website are exactly what the house looks like. The property was exceptionally clean. The outdoor space was fantastic plenty a little nooks and crooks for our family to go into and have time away from everyone. One thing that’s not mention is the oven is downstairs so if you’re not able to go up and down the stairs comfortably you won’t be able to use the oven. Andrew the unit owner was fantastic he answered questions he was available within an hour after leaving a message. Our family has rented many vacation homes and this home will be in the top two

Wonderful stay
Stayed for 2 great evenings with our 4 grandsons. Reason for coming to the area was to visit with family and take the boys to Kennywood. Andrew was very prompt in answering any questions. House was comfortable and well equipped. Would highly recommend this home to others looking for a rental in this area.

Large home with all you need and a prime location for city access
Stayed here for a week with my wife, two daughters, and our puppy. The property had everything we needed for our stay, had lots of space for us to spread out, and was perfectly located to access everything that downtown. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and the hot tub in the morning. Great wooded scenery abounds and makes you forget you’re so close to the city. Andrew took great care of us this week, and I’d highly recommend his property for rent!

Graduation 2021
The property has the potential to be really lovely. Maybe because of COVID it has been a bit neglected. The heater in the downstairs bedroom did not work. The hot tub was cold when arrived and the water quality was not maintained so we did not use. There was also a rim of film inside that made the tub very unappealing. The bath towels were old and quite sparse. The stairway light had a short and flickered when turned on making walking the stairs tricky at night.
The grounds are beautiful although the driveway is exceptionally steep and winding. I can’t imagine navigating in the winter months with ice or snow.

From the moment we arrived Andrew was easy to reach and very responsive. He was quick to address any questions and it was a pleasure staying at the house. The house was fully equipped with all the amenities and even had a pack and play plus kids utensils. We are eager to book a return trip.

From reservations to check-out, this rental was wonderful. First the property- wow- very beautiful and super clean. Everyone, all 10, commented on the cleanliness, space, and comfort. Even our most picky person said the beds were great!! Every supply you need, from towels, sheets, kitchen supplies, coffee, even spices are supplied. The outdoor space is beyond belief. So beautiful with lots to do, from the hot tub, amazing fire pit (buying one of these now), even a TV.Bonus is that you are so close to Pittsburgh but away from the traffic and noise. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Yes there are hills, this is Pittsburgh. We found Copout Peirgogies for our Easter meal-yum!! And finally, Andrew was great! We loved the welcome wine and Pittsburgh gifts!! Very responsive and always answered my emails within minutes. I have no doubt that he will go above an beyond to make everyones stay amazing. Would recommend and will stay again.

Hilltop Resort
We had a wonderful stay with space for three generations under one roof and beautiful grounds to explore. Andrew was a gracious host. He was very accessible and helpful. We appreciated the complimentary beverages and Pittsburgh treasures. The kids loved the nature trails and “secret” paths on the property. We felt like we were a world away from the city and the views from every window were very peaceful. Having two living areas/TV rooms was very convenient. The kitchen was well stocked and the second kitchen was helpful when we were grilling out. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, and we enjoyed the fire pit and large outdoor dining table. It was a perfect getaway spot for our family!

The PERFECT stay
We had such a great experience at this property. It was immaculately clean with lots of attention to little details (take out menus, power strips/plug hubs, a few beverages in the fridge, books about Pittsburgh, make-up remover wipes, extra blankets, etc). We often use vacation rentals and are accustomed to bringing tissues and other everyday items, but the house was well-stocked and we felt very taken care of. We really enjoyed the books (particularly the engineering book) and the poker set. Andrew was great at communicating without being intrusive. The property is in a very densely populated area, but once you are up the driveway it feels very secluded and private. We enjoyed using the trails near the house and the hot tub. There were great outdoor spaces and we wished we were there during warmer weather to fully enjoy them. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!

Allegheny County Oasis
My friends and I had a fantastic weekend at this Hilltop Hideaway. Nothing like sitting in a steaming hot tub while snow falls around you. The kitchen was fully stocked, the grill was easy to use, and there was plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably. Andrew is extremely easy to reach if you need anything during your stay. After celebrating a birthday Saturday night, the verdict was unanimous: 5 stars.
2.5 / 5.0
We spent a weekend here with our three kids to celebrate a birthday. After looking all over for a cabin in the woods that would allow dogs and had a hot tub, but struck out. Andrew's place was 15 minutes from our home, which obviously cut out the drive time component of a weekend getaway, but made for a much easier getaway and allowed for it to be much less of a production to get three kids and a dog and all of our stuff to the destination. We were really looking forward to enjoying all of the amenities offered at the house, and our expectations were exceeded. The house truly is hidden right smack dab in the middle of a densely residential section of Etna. The stone driveway winds up to the top of the hill where the house sits, and it transports you to a completely different place. The outdoor areas are truly impressive. The deck and hot tub area overlooks the steep hillside covered in trees. A hiking path winds down that hillside to what seems to be a public hiking path, though it was not heavily used while we were there, save for a few friendly neighbors walking their dogs. We didn't follow the path to the end, so not sure how far it goes or where it ends up. The house is a great example of how cool Pittsburgh can be. You feel like you're in the mountains, but you are only 10 minutes from being downtown. The house itself is well appointed with the things one would typically expect in a vacation rental. Andrew also had Pittsburgh themed items available throughout the house, including books, chocolates from Sarris, beer from East End Brewing, and even a cookbook. The main kitchen area does not have an oven, which is strange, but there is one in the laundry room/kitchenette available. That room made for a great transition room from being in the hot tub.We had a minor home maintenance issue while there, that Andrew responded to quickly, and refunded a portion of our fee because of. Things don't always go perfectly, and that's just a fact of life, but Andrew's response and resolution was perfect, and we are thankful for that.We didn't want to leave when it was time to check out, and will definitely keep this house in mind for the future.P.S. If you find yourself in need of some delicious takeout sandwiches and soups, Duncan Street Sandwich Shop in Millvale is phenomenal.

Great time!
We very much enjoyed our stay. Couple things to note. Driveway is STEEP AND WINDING and cobblestone so if you are going in winter 4x4 might be needed to access. Having 2 kitchens was great but could have used a bit more kitchen wares. Can opener did not work, no cheese grater or baking pans. Normally wouldn’t be a problem but with COVID-19 we planned on cooking instead of eating out. But the house was lovely and the many covered outdoor spaces made the spot perfect for us. Thanks!
