A quality constructed cottage nestled in the woods but very close to Palmer. This quiet 8 acre parcel is a rare find this close to Palmer while providing seclusion, quiet and privacy. The owners house is also located on the property and they are available to you throughout your stay. Forestlane Cottage 1 is new to Airbnb but is a 5 star cottage on VRBO. Check out 5 star sister cottage: Forestlane Cottage 2 on Airbnb for a larger version of Cottage 1 or a possibility of booking both cottages.

We ❤️ our stay at this GORGEOUS cottage straight from a Disney fairytale! The cottage was impeccably kept. It was cleaner than my own home (and I'm bit of a neat freak). The owners though of EVERYTHING! Highly recommended!!

Nice cabin with lots of amenities, in the woods, quiet, yet close to town. Not sure why fees were over $100 but otherwise, very pleased with pur stay!

Rented the cottage for a family member (I live in the area). Cute, well-built and clean. In a quite and scenic location that is very close to Palmer. No disappointments. Owners are nice people and attentive. Two thumbs up.

This cottage met all my expectations plus more. It was the most comfortable stay nestled in the woods away from people and noise. I looked forward to a peaceful sleep every night and a serene wake up every morning. The hosts were very friendly and attentive.

Great cabins. Tucked away off fishhook road, easy access up into Hatcher and to the Glenn highway. Probably will book again the next time I’m in town for snowmachining. Everything you need, nothing you don’t.

The cabin was comfortable, clean and convenient. Vanessa and Rob were such great hosts. Excellent communication and helpful in all aspects. The cabin is small but perfect for a couple. The only minor difficulty was the main road to the property was a challenge during a snow/windstorm but that was not something anyone has any control if. The hosts did keep their driveway clear.

Hosts are great with communication, always clean and has fresh bedding, well maintained property, secluded yet just a few minutes in to downtown Palmer. Great change of pace from staying at hotels when I'm on a work trip. Just wish I could manage to get myself there earlier instead of getting in as late as I tend to.

This cabin is an escape. Gorgeous wooded area, super quiet, excellent location.
The cabin is well made and decorated just right. All your needs and wants have been thought of when you stay here. No attention to detail was missed. The bed is very comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. The cabin was very clean.
We will be back for sure!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and in a peaceful setting. The furnishings are comfortable and the shower is hot. They have everything you would need for a perfect stay.

Great little (new) cabin in the woods, with modern furnishings and decor. It’s got a bedroom, bathroom, and a kitchenette/living area. Owners were communicative, the place was clean and as advertised. It is at the end of a long, gravel/dirt driveway, but most vehicles will be fine. While you can see other residences through the trees, the cabin gives the feel of an isolated woodsy experience. It’s not very bug, but suitable for a base for exploration.

Very clean and I could tell the owners put a lot of thought and care into everything. The only criticism I would give is the hot water in the shower doesn’t last very long, but they do warn of this on the info sheet in the cabin. Would stay here again!

Loved the setting! So beautiful, with mountains all around me! The cottage was very cozy, clean, and comfortable….perfect for a couple, or a single, like me. Very close to Palmer and Farm Loop, yet set back in the tress for privacy. Rob and Vanessa were great hosts!

The cabin is awesome. It has everything you need. We didn’t get to meet Rob as he was out of town working but Vanessa was very helpful to us. And she was gracious enough to let my wife play with her dogs. If we ever get back that way we will definitely stay with them again.

This cute little cabin in the woods has everything you will need for your stay. Communication was prompt. I needed to make a change in my reservation and it was done right away and my account refunded one night's stay. Great little place to stay. The only draw back is that you can't see the gorgeous mountains you are surrounded by deep in the wooded area.

The place was outstanding, extra little details that make your stay even better.
We arrived earlier than expected because I wasn’t feeling well, we planned on just hanging out in the car until it was time to check in but the owners seen us and so graciously let us in early. This was a perfect little cabin in the woods my only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer

Vanessa and Rob were excellent hosts. The location was great, right in the middle of everything for sightseeing.
The cabin was cute, cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed. I loved the reviews and pics when I first started looking, I booked my first 3 nights and our last 3 nights there in our 10 night stay. I would recommend this location to anyone

This was our first stay at this property. It is all a cottage in the woods would be. Charming, well decorated, very clean,had all you would need for your stay. Fire pit and wood provided if you wanted to sit by the fire. Close to Palmer if you need supplies or dinner out, easy to find with the owners great directions. Rob and Vanessa were very accommodating and I would stay there again

Nice little cabin, nestled in the woods not so far from civilization, but yet still close to towns and access to restaurants and grocery stores. (4 miles) The host were very nice and easy to get a hold of. We had no problems with anything. It was a very nice 7 day stay.

It was only a 5-minute drive from downtown Palmer and the property was perfect and spotless. Everything was brand new in it and I would totally stay there again.

This was the second time I stayed in one of Rob's and Vanessa's cottages in Palmer.
The cottage is just the perfect size for me as a solo traveler. Like the other, slightly bigger cottage, this one is decorated with a lot of attention for details. Vanessa certainly knows what is needed. Everything is available for a pleasant stay, a well equipped kitchen, a clean bathroom stocked with all the essentials one needs. The bedroom is nicely decorated with a bed big enough to sleep two very comfortably.
Just to provide you with a very brief description of the floor plan: you enter the cottage into the combined kitchen living area. The kitchen faces the entrance door. To the right two nice armchairs and a coffee table provide a nice seating area. A folding table is available as well, if needed.
A corridor connects the living area with the bedroom and the bathroom which is to the left. The bathroom features a shower and a vanity with a mirror large enough for what ever is needed, brushing your teeth, shaving or taking care of your hairstyle.
For those of you who might be concerned about heating in the long and at times fierce Alaska winters, it was always cozy and one will not have to fear to have to stay in a cold little cabin.
On top of all, Rob and Vanessa are very caring hosts.
In short and to wrap it up; for me it's the place to stay whenever I am in Palmer.

This property was perfect to come back to after long days out in town. Super clean, comfortable and quiet to unwind. Internet was great so I could work from my laptop in the mornings before heading out for the day. Updated keurig for all my caffeine requirements and an amazing owner who communicated well and was genuinely interested in making your stay memorable. Very highly recommend!!

This cute little cottage is the perfect getaway - it has all the charms of a cottage and quiet, secluded, and super clean. The hosts were fantastic and were super communicators! We can hardly wait to return!
