One room did have a double and single bed that sits on floor. Upstairs has AC unit only for one of the sleeping areas. Can get hot in the other sleeping area! Outside could be cleaned up more, but it was ok!

Secret Garden Oasis was a fabulous dog-friendly beach house in a perfect location close to everything St. Simons Island has to offer. There was plenty of space for everyone and the beds were all comfortable. We did have a slight issue with the main TV but Vacasa staff were super quick to respond and offer assistance. This is an older house with so much southern charm and the dipping pool was perfect for cooling off after the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful home layout with comfy beds. Needs new living room furniture. Close to beach, but be prepared for loud neighbors. Pool is dirty from yard vegetation. Overall, needs better cleaning and some TLC.

Location is so close to beach! Clean with a large living room area. Kitchen is large and great for cooking!! Loved the big window that opens to pool. Hot tub and pool were amazing for a big crowd. Our only issue was hot tub and pool were cold for two days even though we paid for heat. Great vacation!

We easily fit 2 families into the house, great sleeping arrangements. We enjoyed the kitchen and living space, but exposed outlets, broken widow’s nest with no access (though it looked like it would have been amazing), promise of a heated pool in January but having nothing, and missing windows, tv remotes, and backyard issues (shade lining was covered in debri, playhouse covered in moss) just left us wishing we could have enjoyed what was promised to us more.

Arrived after dark and house quite hard to find. Once we did enjoyed the rest of our time there. The kitchen was great for all to gather round the island to munch and chat. Dining table was also great for us to gather and play games all evening. Downfall was I paid for the spa/pool to be heated and when I emailed asking the temperature for each the email response was spa 103 degrees and pool 76. Spa was never warmer than the pool which I’m not sure was 76 degrees even before we had rain. That being said only kept the adults out of the water but the kids did enjoy. Several lights were out making some rooms very dark. The beach is literally just around a corner and several restaurants and shops within walking distance. The village less than a mile away. Fun island to visit.

Traveled with my adult son, daughter, and li'l pup. Stayed 3 nights and opted for late check out Wed. We really loved this vacation home. Lots of space with many places to sit, lounge, and relax - inside and outdoors. The front porch swing was so relaxing and the foliage in the back yard was gorgeous. Amazing fully-equipped kitchen. Refreshing pool, and enchanting decor. Yes, it's an older home, but so unique and charming. We didn't have young children with us, but I'm sure families with kiddos would enjoy the adorable bunk bed room (3 beds total) w/an ensuite tub/shower combo that adjoins another bathroom via a sliding door. All the bedrooms have their own ensuites - the other 3 have nice large showers. 3 Bedrooms & baths on the main level and one double bedroom "suite" upstairs w/its 3/4 bathroom. There are TVs in all the bedrooms and the living room. Stackable W/D in a laundry room off the entrance. The host provided a standing fan and box fan to augment the central air. Lots of large beach towels, too, for the beach that's only a block away! Great walk for the pup! Lots of delicious eateries and fun shops nearby, as well.
Soft "cons" & recommendations: Coffee maker is crap. Recommend it be replaced. Some of the outlet placements are challenging. But you should be fine if you bring a power strip or two. The kitchen lighting is very dim. The stove lights and stove griddle wouldn't turn on - don't know if that's user error or an appliance issue. The house is on a main road, and many cars tend to speed, so keep the gate closed for the safety of your small children and kiddos. But overall, excellent vacation home on St. Simons Island that we would love to stay in again!

Wonderful property. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 2 thru 15). 1 block from terrific beach access. Less than ¾ miles in either direction from fantastic food/brewery/shops. We stayed Friday to Friday around Memorial Day and only wish we had booked more time. The house is older but really well organized and ridiculously clean. It could use a few minor updates, shower heads specifically. The heated hot tub/pool was perfect for our group with cooler weather still lingering. The decking, fans and lighting around the pool all need some work. But I believe the property manager is aware and trying to make improvements. We loved the property and wouldn't hesitate to spend another week there!

House is absolutely adorable and laid out well for multiple guests. Nicely equipped and very spacious for a big crowd. My only compliant would be that it is in need of electrical updates [lights flickered when you plugged anything into any bathroom outlets] and some minor repairs. Master bath tile in toilet area is literally cracked, loose from the floor, and comes up when you stand on it, which is unavoidable to use the toilet. It actually almost cut my foot so I wore shoes every time I went in there. Master shower doesn't even fit the space. Guest bath tp holder fell off the second anyone barely touched it, same bedroom door handle almost fell off...It would have been nice to had some beach chairs and a cooler, as we flew in from Nashville and didn't have any. We spent out days at the Sea Island Beach club and for the money, I would probably just stay there next time. Other than those small things, it is an adorable house and walkable great location.

The great sides of the property are that the location is wonderful and on the quiet side of ocean Ave. The beach access is right there. The house is well laid out and very comfortable. There are great restaurants within .3 miles, and more in the village... All walkable. The hot tub and plunge pool are great.
The bad side is that it needs some TLC. Most plates and cups are chipped. Deck boards are rotten and seconds away from giving way. The fence is falling down. There are cracked and loose tiles in the bathroom. The tank cover of one of the toilets was broken and glued back together.
Not deal breakers, but the property could use some attention.

The house was as advertised, lots of room. The kitchen is awesome. The house is close to the beach, you can walk to the beach in a few minutes. We, as a group, 7 of us. would stay here again.

This home was perfect for our multigenerational family vacation, including two young toddlers. Very clean, beautifully decorated and in a convenient location to the beach and local shops/restaurants. The home could use some love/maintenance on some things like antique doorknobs and sliding doors that would stick or fall off track, but it was otherwise very well-equipped!

We stayed here for a girl's weekend getaway. There were 6 of us adults and 4 kids. The little girls loved having a bunk room of their own, while the adults were escaping to the spa every time we got a chance! The kitchen was amazing. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Yard absolutely needed some tending to. I read from other vacationers back in sept of this year noting the over grown foliage and it definitely wasn’t attended to. We have pictures to prove what we are talking about. Great location a little fixing up in yard and this place would get a 5star.

This is my third time filling out this form and no-one has reached out to ease my frustration.

The property could be so much better if the oven stove had worked, the back yard weeded and maintenance done. Upper landing with bed full of mold on walls and ceiling. House was beautifully decorated and appointed and extremely clean. Great location, easy walk to the beach and shops and restaurants. Kitchen was easy to cook in and we used pool and spa more than I thought we would. The only thing I would point out is that the room with the double and two singles consists of bunk beds, including a top single that is shorter than a standard-sized single mattress and the double and other single are on the floor. It worked well for our teens/older kids and would be perfect for little kids, but adults would likely be uncomfortable there. Speaking of comfort, the mattresses and bedding were extremely comfortable (not something I would have expected in a rental).
