Everything was great about the cottage, clean bathroom and room, and microwave and frig was a plus! Also coffee machine, although we didnt use it. If you have sensitivity to airplane noise, bring ear plugs, otherwise you are good to go!

What a fantastic experience this stay was. Perfect location, super close to shopping, the beach, & the airport. Plane noises you hear, here and there but truly you get used to it. Whenever I plan to come back down, I hope to stay here again.

The Cottage was exactly what I needed. It was very comfortable and accessible to the city. Nearby restaurants and shopping were a moderate walk or quick Lyft ride away. The hostess was very pleasant and helpful.

The "Cottage" was very neat and clean! It was close to the airport and easy to get to. It was also very close to "Liberty Public Market. We knew "in advance" that we had to travel to quite a few different places so the "Cottage" worked well for us!

Cottage is charming and very comfortable. It is centrally located to San Diego touristy locations. Pt. Loma is within 5 minute drive of downtown San Diego where Petco Park is located, Coronado Island. Seaworld, SD Zoo, etc. Only inconveniance is loud planes flying overhead between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm. Other than that, it’s a perfect stay!

I almost don’t want to leave a review because I don’t want the secret to be let out about this place. It is perfect for one or two people. Within walking distance to Liberty Station and a $15 Uber ride to the airport. Things to consider if staying here: It is in flight path to the airport so airplanes fly over frequently. Not an issue for me as I lived in the area for several years and it just becomes white noise, but the owners thought of this and provides ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. The internet isn’t great (again, flight path), but they offer free WiFi so problem solved! It is very well insulated so it gets warm- a mini split and fan is available- win! The owner is also the owner of a local taqueria and offers a little discount for guests, which was just icing on the cake. I travel to San Diego for work monthly and will be staying here, whenever I can. Thank you for a great experience!

Communication with the host and check in/check out were very easy. You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation.

Nice, clean, very small but extrance door opens to a roomy outdoor kitchen. So convenient to anywhere you would want to go in San Diego. Owner Cecilla so very nice and has a food court restaurant at Liberty Market within 3 blocks. Best food we had there since our stay!

My wife and I stayed here, the location is in a nice neighborhood and close to a lot of great restaurants. Easy to get to places such as; Point Loma Lighthouse, Midway Museum, and Old Town.

It was a small little guest house. The host was really really nice. She let us use her grill and she gave us some utensils. This is perfect for a couple. The only downside is that it is very close to the airport so there is a lot of noise from the airplanes.

Although beneath the airport departures, the apt is pretty soundproof, and no departures between 11 something and 7ish. I plan to stay on my next trip to San Diego. I'm allergic to heat, and loved the quiet thermostat controlled air conditioner. The large ceiling fan also kept the room cool.

This unit is pretty small but they do allow you to use the table outside. It seems to be a very safe area. Be aware that it is very close to the Airport. In theory no planes should flyover 12am to 6am but sometimes they do. They do provide earplugs which worked for me. I would probably stay here again.

The room is a nice size and very clean with basic amenities available such as water, soap, and coffee. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with plenty of street parking. Overall it was amazing and we had zero problems our entire stay.

This is basically a hotel room with a very nice outdoor space with a table where you can sit down and eat a meal that you bought take out. Everything is provided. Parking is plentiful if you have a car which I would highly recommend. It is on a flight path from San Diego airport. Planes start around 6:30 a.m. and end around 10:00 p.m. We were getting at relatively early so it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was as expected. It was the perfect place for my little getaway. I wanted some quiet time to myself and a place to get some homework done and that’s exactly what I got. The back patio was beautiful and a great place to sit and eat a meal or do some work. Thank you for letting me stay at The Cottage! I would definitely stay here again.

We booked here to attend our grandson’s graduation from the marine boot camp but were called back the day after we arrived due to a family emergency. It was a great place with all we needed had we been able to stay for the week. I would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. You can definitely hear the planes and are directly under their flight path. It’s a nice neighborhood, though, and a well thought out, cutely decorated, nicely done little cottage. It was close to everything for us on our trip and very convenient. The host was communicative and available if we needed, but we didn’t need anything. One thing I’ll add, is that there is a window air conditioner to help cool the unit. You do need to use this pretty frequently, or at least we did in June during the first week, because there are no other windows to open for any kind of cross ventilation to allow the cool evening air in. That being said, the window air conditioner cooled the unit very effectively for us.

The room was adorable. It is nested in a beautiful backyard of the main house with plenty of privacy. The planes are indeed noisy but you know that going into it. We'd definitely stay again.

This place is perfect for a weekend. A great neighborhood and a short walk to the bus top at Ibsen and Rosecrans. Clean comfy and Cecelia is very helpful. You can’t beat the price for the location and comfort in San Diego!

I was in town for a conference. I stayed here for 3 days. It's small, but has all you need. Very nice and clean. Located in a nice neighborhood that's close to shopping and different restraunts. I'd highly recommend.

Exactly as the listing described, even ensured that more than what we needed was available in the room. It was very comfy, and actually extremely quiet between the airplanes. I wasn’t too bothered by the planes but ear plugs are provided if necessary. The patio was nice and chill. We were only staying a couple nights before leaving on a cruise and it was perfect! The bathroom is very nice. Great value for the money.
