Fabulous mini break in a beautiful location.

The location was stunning and Greg was a great host. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He even ran us to the ferry and picked us up one night after our meal. The breakfast was delicious and set you up for the day. The house was warm and comfortable.

The slope and stairs were a bit of an issue for my husband but Greg did everything he could to ensure we could come and go safely.

Perfect location & guest room with lounge was perfect.

Room on the top floor with a great view of the beach and access to a lounge was ideal. We were both exhausted and just wanted to slow down - waking up to a continental breakfast with an hour to chill with amazing views in a very comfortable guest lounge was the way to do it. The hosts are knowledgable and happy to help. A great location which we used as a base to explore the north of South Island. Only a 10 minute drive to the start of trails in Abel Tasman and easy to access Farewell Spit, Nelson, Picton & Blenheim.

Perfect.

Greg's bread making skills and smoothies are outstanding. He is an attentive and caring host. The accommodation is quite luxurious and very comfortable. The location is outstanding, right on the beach. We had THE BEST view from our bedroom and from the lounge. We loved this stay - it was the most special accommodation of our month long trip.

Nothing I can add here. We didn't have the best weather (which was unusual) but even that didn't get in the way of a great time there.

The location across from the beach and the views from the deck were excellent. lots of activity to entertain from an elevated position.

The room was a bit snug but we knew that when we booked. It was the location which appealed and it didn’t disappoint.

Even on a rainy day, we enjoyed our time here with Greg's recommendations of things to do!

The breakfast was yummy and plentiful. The snacks were nice too. The hosts were very helpful, responsive, and friendly. The outdoor space offered to guests is beautiful.

As others have noted, the driveway and stairs are steep. Not a problem for us. The hosts were there to help in any way with this. No locks on the bedroom doors. There were safes in the room though. We were not concerned in the least about safety, but that was just different than what we are used to.

Immaculate accommodation, great breakfast, stunning view, true relaxation.

The location of the property, with elevated views over the beach but a short walk from local services is perfect. The host assisted us with bags as the climb to the house involves a steep slope and steps. The house and all of the facilities are immaculate. Our guest room was on a floor shared with one other guest room and shared access to a really comfortable lounge with stunning views. The use of a hot tub, again with great views, at the end of a day of activity was especially welcome and appreciated. The host provided everything we could have needed without being intrusive. A really great experience.

Relaxing getaway

Perfect location if the weather had been better. It was very considerate of you to let us use the room to have drinks and nibbles. The baking was very much appreciated.

The resort was lovely, private and elevated to get a spectacular view over the Kaiteriteri inlet. Loved the guest lounge with the stressless recliners , small treats and availability of tea and coffee. We will definitely visit again.

Amazing place. Greg was a great host. Made sure my stay was enjoyable. Went above and beyond. Highly recommend. Bed is comfortable.shower pressure is great. Great outdoor area to eat and drink with spectacular view of Kaiteriteri beach.

Close to beach and their was a good choice of restaurants to eat at and activities to do nearby.

This property has a steep driveway and lots of steps so if that is a problem it is not the place for you. Great views though

absolutely perfect

the breakfast was so amazing, especially the croissant’s they were so yummy. the room and the bed was absolutely perfect. greg and caleb were so lovely and polite. cant wait to stay again!

Very luxurious, comfortable great bed and views.

I loved the breakfast with the berry smoothie fresh baked bread and croissant and delicious muesli yoghurt and yummy juice. Loved that there was fresh fruit and snacks too. The views were sensational from guest lounge and my bedroom.

Nothing it was a lovely stay and very quiet and relaxing. Will return.

Superb

Everything was great from the time we got there. Hosts are amazing people and very friendly. Always willing to help where they can.

It can be a bit awkward having to share a breakfast table with two other guests. Luckily the other couple that was there was also very friendly and didn’t force conversations.

Everything. Outstanding location. We were treated upon our arrival by Caleb and he helped us up with our bags which, given we had driven 6+ hours and were a bit tired was really appreciated. Its always nice to be greeted with a smile and we got that big time. Everything was so close. Boat cruise shop, restaurants and of course the golden beach across the road. Loved it. Perfect
