About this apartment rental
Welcome To Superior Street Serenity, by Hiawatha's Hideaway vacation homes! An inviting, comfortable upscale apartment that sleeps 6 guests max! 1 spacious bedroom with queen bed, 1 spacious den with 2 twin beds, trundle style, and a full size sofa sleeper with thick mattress in the living area. Full kitchen with all you need to cook your meals during your time in Munising. A/C, high end beds and bedding, two flat screen TV's with streaming access and of course WiFi! We are located up a flight of stairs (16 steps) and the only vacation apartment in the building. Just walk in the main level entrance and up the stairs. If you have problems with steps this might not be for you. On the same block you will find a drinking establishment, food truck, Barbeque, Shaved Ice, DQ, Gift Shops. And a short walk to Lake Superior, Bay Shore Park, Pictured Rock Cruises, coffee and more!

We are available nightly from April 15 to November 15 - street parking available
From November 15 to March 15 there is a 28 night minimum stay. The cleaning fee will be higher depending on length of stay (please ask) and security deposit may be higher. Guest will make parking arrangements with parking lot manager next door.

What a lovely property that is close to everything. It was so nice to have a kitchen and a dishwasher. Large bathroom, with laundry, very clean and great communication from the owner.

I grew up in Munising and found this a great location to all the activities I participated in over the 4th of July week. There was a very small problem and it was taken care of in minutes!
They have some very large white towels but I would have liked a beach towel to sit on at the park. I didn't want to use the lovely white ones.

We loved this second story apartment. Extremely clean and well thought out. Had every thing we needed. The bed was comfortable. Very nice linen and loved the oversized towels. Felt just like home. Walki g distance from nice restaurants, and central location to several waterfalls, trails and boat tours. Host was very attentive.

What a great home away from home, it was so comfortable and relaxing when settling down for the night. We enjoyed being within walking distance to food and drink and close to so many beautiful sites. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were oversized and fluffy. The washer and dryer was a nice bonus.

My husband, our 17 and 9 year old sons, 13 year old daughter and 2 year old cavapoo stayed here for 4 nights. We were so impressed with the cleanliness, walkability to shops, restaurants, and Lakeshore. We wanted to travel with out pet and this location allowed everyone to have space and enjoy the local environment. We visited the Lakeshore, town, mountain bike course, sand beaches and toured the pictures rocks. It was a delightful getaway for all of us. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was so nice too!

Weekend getaway
Apartment was in a great location. Close to water, food, grocery store; walking distance to everything in town. We even went to Marquette and it was only a 40 minute drive. We did a lot on our short stay in Munising. Beautiful area! Hope to come back again!

Perfect location!
This property is perfectly located right in the center of Munising. It was easy to get to all of our activities as well as walking distance to restaurants, grocery, etc. The apartment is well stocked with everything you might need. It was super clean and cozy. Our kids loved being able to watch Netflix on the TV after a busy day exploring. The only down side was that there was no outdoor space/patio, but it wasn’t a huge deal since we were out and about most of the time!

Clean, quiet, and convenient
We had a wonderful long weekend staying here with our dog. The apartment was very clean and in a great location downtown Munising, a short walk from restaurants, groceries, breweries, and the water. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is an easy drive away and cruises leave just blocks from the unit. In addition, this is the best stocked vacation rental I’ve stayed in to-date — all the kitchen basics are available! There are even games and books available, as well as TVs that have many streaming options to log into. Highly recommend this rental as your home away from home in Munising.

Ideal location
Such a wonderful little property, perfectly located in downtown...walking distance to everything (groceries, coffee shop, pizza, breweries, etc.). There were only two of us, so we had plenty of space. It was extremely clean/well kept and Lisa was great to deal with. Highly recommended!

Look No Further
If you want a wonderful trip to Munising, look no further! This is the smoothest, most convenient property around. We have two dogs and a baby, and the host, Lisa, accommodated us with no issues.
The apartment is clean and stocked with basics, including some locally made snacks and clean linens. The location also couldn't be better - the middle of downtown, two blocks from Pictures Rocks Cruises.

Winter Dreamland Haven
This place was just perfect for our family of four. Everything was spotless and had everything we needed. It was also a great location to explore all of the ice formations in the area and a short trip to Marquette. Thank you!

Unsafe Bedroom! Does not meet egress code for bedrooms
Not suitable if handicapped. Very steep long stairway (18 steps) and very dark. Poor signage. Advertised address not correct

Everything was conveniently located around this property. From sight seeing to shops and restaurants, it’s all right there! Perfectly clean place and owner was very helpful with information and suggestions. HIGHLY recommend!

Perfect home base for exploring the UP
We loved the cozy apartment as our home base for exploring the UP. There was plenty of room, very comfortable beds, and within walking distance of everything in downtown Munising! We would definitely stay again! AND! there was a lovely loaf of raisin bread and a jar of local strawberry jam waiting for us when we arrived!

Perfect spot!
This place was so clean and welcoming! The owner was super communicative and available when needed. The location in downtown Munising was a plus, very centrally located. The only thing that would have made this place any better would be bigger windows or a little patio area but the comfort and atmosphere make up for it double. Would def come back again!

Nice clean place.
Very clean, nice place and nice stay. Kitchen and bath amenities were all high end, new, and well thought out. Beds were very comfortable. There needs to be one more comfy chair in family room. Close to DQ, IGA, Food trucks, and a tavern. It is lacking exterior windows to look out, and an outdoor area to sit. Overall great place.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
Had an AMAZING time here @ Superior Serenity, right smack dab in the middle of everything in Munising. It’s nicer than most condos I’ve stayed in. The host was very quick in answering all my questions. I suggest you book if you plan on staying in Munising.

Quaint little apartment
This is quaint, cozy centrally located apartment. The place is very nice and clean. It is within walking distance from all of the downtown Munising activities and local spots. They do provide all dishes and kitchen equipment as well as fluffy big bath towels! My only complaint is the air conditioner is a window unit and did not cool all of the rooms. Overall very nice place and would stay again!

Very Clean & Great Location
This was the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at. It was perfect for 2 adults. Plenty of space and very quiet. The location was so convenient. The owner provided everything you need and more. I would highly recommend this place!

Great spot!
Awesome location in downtown Munising for this group of ice climbers and we would definitely come back! Only downsides are limited parking spots and it was more like 200 a night with all the fees. Lisa was great to communicate with about everything.

Lovely Experience
This rental is exactly what you’re hoping you’ll find in a VRBO. Many times pet-friendly means nasty furnishings. Not here! Special high-end furnishings are presented. Comfy living room furniture. The queen mattress, pillows and linens are top notch. For a real treat, warm the provided luxurious towel in dryer while bathing. Great to be able to watch tv in bed. Kitchen fully stocked with cooking items. Yummy treats at check-in. A very lovely experience. Thank you Lisa!

Very clean apartment right downtown!
Overall we enjoyed our stay! It is right downtown and close to Pictured Rocks. Only negative would be that since the windows are small there was little natural light and gave us a sense of being boxed in.

Great apartment in a great location In quiet downtown Munising. The kitchen was really well stocked with equipment (there was even a tea pot!) - it was nice to be able to cook our meals while traveling. The apartment was very recently remodeled- everything is super clean. It was a great stay!

My daughter and I stayed here four nights while we visited the waterfalls, beaches and kayaked . The apartment was sparkling clean . It was quiet and we felt very safe . Loved it and we most definitely give it four thumbs up .

First trip to Munising Michigan
My family of four stayed at the Superior Street Serenity! We were surprised with some locally made treats upon arrival. Lisa was very attentive to our needs responding quickly to any and all texts. The location of the apartment is within walking distance of so many places including a small grocery store, several coffee shops, many restaurants and Pictured Rocks Cruises! Parking was convenient! The apartment is spacious, clean and quiet! The kitchen and bathroom was stocked with everything we needed! The bath towels are luxurious! The futon and recliner were super comfortable! I loved the bedding in the master bedroom. The only downfall of the apartment was the tiny dining room table but my family was still able to squeeze around it and the windows without blinds in the master bedroom, however, we also found a way to make that work for us. We would not hesitate to return and would recommend others also stay at Superior Street Serenity when visiting Munising Michigan!

Great place and great locations!
We booked a last minute trip to Munising and couldn't of been happier with the rental we found! It was right in downtown Munising; walking distance to many local attractions, shops, bars, breweries, restaurants, etc.. The rental was spacious for our family of 3, beds were comfy, towels were soft and fluffy. Kitchen was nicely equipped. We do wish the unit had larger windows or an outdoor space but that didn't effect our love for this place. We did had a few hiccups during our stay but Lisa was always quick to respond and offer solutions. We plan to visit again next year and would definitely rent this unit again! Thanks Lisa!
