-Centrally located on BEST part of the 4750 acre lake that’s home to TONS of fish!

-Deep water off dock, GREAT for fishing!

-TV’s with Dish Network satellite in living room and master bedroom

-Free WiFi

-Wrap around porch for LAKEFRONT relaxation

-Charcoal grill provided (just bring your charcoal!)

-Quiet area feels remote, but only 10 min drive from downtown Jackson for shopping and restaurants!

-Portable fire pit

-On site boat ramp for small boats you can hand carry (kayaks, canoes)

Perfect little home base to relax, fish, grill, and lounge around during your time on the lake!

Clean, cozy, simple home with wrap around porch, gently sloping yard, and floating dock for your enjoyment!!

Floating dock on the property is the only dock you have access to, please do not get on our neighbors property!

Bring your favorite games and enjoy some unplugged family time!

Bedroom 1: one queen bed
Bedroom 2: one full bed, one twin bed
Living room: one full bed in the pull out sofa

This home means a lot to us, please respect it and clean up after yourself and your pets!

We recommend bringing towels, sunscreen, bug spray, floats or life jackets, and extra paper towels and paper products if you plan to cook much. We do have dishes and dishwasher but paper is so much easier for vacay!

There is a boat club across the cove (with beach, ramp, and dock) that is completely off limits. It is under 24hr surveillance and violation of this will result in the end of the rental.

Please be quiet and courteous to our neighbors. No loud music or party atmosphere. This is a quiet street with residential homes.

Let me start off by saying the view was amazing. The air conditioning worked great, as did the dishwasher and appliances. Some things which needed to be addressed were: A) fluorescent light bulb in kitchen was out B) Ceiling fan in the bedroom was broken C) Place smelled musty, like nobody had been in it in awhile D) charcoal grill legs were rusted out. We didn't swim because we heard a runor that alligators were spotted in the lake. We got the impression it was a boating/fishing lake, not a swimming lake. The local town of Jackson was incredibly charming and a lot of fun. I am glad we took this opportunity to visit your premises. Jessica was pretty helpful.

Our rental was extremely old. It is in desperate need of updating. The kitchen appliances were so old o would not use them. The towels in bathroom were still damp and smelled awful. There was no room in bedrooms to barely walk. The location and lake view were excellent.

Just got home from a great stay at Jackson Lake. This house is located in a very desirable spot with deep water and little boat traffic. The house was clean, parking was easy and the beds were comfy. We had everything we needed and are looking forward to our next stay!

The place was wonderful. The view from the large deck was awesome and the water splashing against the sea wall would put you to sleep. The owner was extremely polite. You won’t regret booking her house.

Location was excellent, beautiful lake views. Be mindful that it is a smaller two bedroom house, unsure why it’s listed as a three. Photos are very accurate. Basic cleanliness was fine, property could use a deep clean. Overall I would return

We rented this cute lake house for a weekend event on the lake. We didn’t spend much time at the house, but it was perfect. The house was VERY clean and had a great porch and awesome view. I’m glad I brought extra pillows, but the house had everything you would need.

This was a nice little house at the lake. I went there with three teenage girls. The location is great only 30 minutes to Covington and 10 minutes to Jackson. Jessica was great. I had a few questions and she answered them pretty quick. I only gave it a four-star because when I booked it was advertised with two bathrooms, and when we got there, there was only one bathroom and with three teenage girls that was a challenge but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

My family stayed one night at this lake cottage on our way up to the mountains. Everything was perfect for us. We had two kids and two pugs that enjoyed exploring the property and relaxing watching tv at night. We enjoyed takeout from the bbq place nearby which was very convenient!

A reunion brought us to Lake Jackson. With this rental, we were minutes from the festivities. It was clean & had all the basics plus they welcomed our two senior pets. Beautiful setting on the lake. The rocking chairs on the veranda were the best part. Thanks for being pet friendly.

Home for awhile

We stayed at this VRBO for about a month and a half while we were waiting to close on our home. The view is beautiful and for a shorter stay it is perfect for getting away and relaxing. It is close to town where there are plenty of choices for entertainment and food options. The owner was responsive and very accommodating when we were able to close on our home early.

Great little place!

Great little place!

My husband, son and I stayed over Thanksgiving for a traveling work weekend. The View at sunrise is amazing, beds are comfortable and kitchen is easy to cook a quick meal in. It is a small place but I don’t feel the pictures did it justice. We will be regulars if/when available. You can’t beat the location for us since it is only 12 minutes from one of our businesses.

This was a great location for our group. However, no sheets, blankets, or towels were provided. I am fine bringing our own towels but to have to haul all the sheets and comforters for 4 beds for a one night stay was a huge hassle, especially traveling from out of town. First time I’ve rented anywhere that did not include this.

The front porch is great! Enjoyed looking at the lake view at night, during the day, and in the morning with some coffee. My brother-in-law and I took a run early in the morning and the roads were very nice for that. No cars seen at 7:30-8. Enjoyed the simple-ness of the little retreat. Just remember to bring your own linens, towels, and dish rags/towels. We had 4 parties involved so finding out who was brining linens what was probably the most difficult thing to plan for. If we came back again, linens would be nice to not worry about. But we had a great time. I forgot my bug spray and wish I would have brought some. Woops! But turning the fans on the front porch pushed them away. Enjoyed it!

The overall stay was amazing the view is beautiful Lakefront with private boat dock. Lots of weekend boat fun and calm nice weekdays. Lake water wasnt the cleanest . House was clean, comfortable for our stay and located about midway through the lake. Definitely recommended

Relaxing and Fun Lake Experience

Just a 1-hour drive from Atlanta made this a perfect getaway for a change of scenery. The place is tucked away on Lake Jackson with a fantastic view of the lake from the wrap-around porch. We spent most of our time on the porch or at the dock. My kids enjoyed jumping into the deep water from the dock and swimming to the shallow area. We brought fising rods and caught several fish from the dock. Enjoyed a day on the lake with a tritoon and tube rented from a local marina. Excellent communication from host Jessica. We hope to make it back again!
