About this house rental
Escape and step into tranquility at Casa Bella Vida, a quiet yet convenient retreat in beautiful Playa Tamarindo. This newly constructed home is a charming, gated conclave that is just a 7-minute walk to the amazing surf and sand that draw visitors from all over the world.
The main house has three spacious bedrooms, main bedroom with private bath and a shared bathroom for the bottom bedrooms. There is a king-size bed in the upstairs master room, a king-size bed in the second bedroom, and the third bedroom on the ground floor has two twins that can also be put together to make another king-size bed. Each bedroom has its own A/C and there is a fully equipped kitchen and tranquil living room. The house is all teched out with Wi-Fi, high-speed internet, and smart TVs.
This enclave has a private swimming pool and patio area where you can enjoy coffee in the morning or cocktails in the afternoon or have a perfect BBQ with the family under the upstairs patio while listening to Howler monkeys and the sounds of nearby nature.
Just behind the pool there is a casita with two more individual bedrooms, each with full baths. Because they are away from the main house, these rooms are equipped with basic utensils, coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, internet connection, A/C, streaming TV, hot water and a safe. The first room has another King size bed that will comfortably accommodate two guests and the second bedroom has a Queen size bed and a twin-size sofa bed, that could accommodate up to three guests.
Now that your accommodation is secure in Casa Bella Vida, it’s time to explore. There is something to do for everyone in the Playa Tamarindo area. You can begin a day with a relaxing stroll along the pristine beach or surf some outstanding waves at a number of nearby breaks. Or you can play a round of golf at one of the two nearby Robert Trent Jones or Mike Young designed courses within 30 minutes of Bella Vida. Eat a tasty lunch or dinner at any of the numerous restaurants…many within walking distance. You can also plan an eco-tour, go horseback riding or better yet, if not a seasoned surfer, grab a surfing lesson! There are enough shopping opportunities to please everyone’s taste…again…all within walking distance. For the adventure lover, a local canopy/river tour, or a day trip to volcano Rincon de la Vieja, Arenal or the cloud forest of Monteverde. World-class Sport fishing leaving on a boat out of Playa Tamarindo is another exciting way to spend a day. Another is to go on a sunset cruise that offers snorkeling in crystal clear waters and the chance to experience some raw nature from a different point of view.

The property worked perfectly for our family of 5 adults and 1 toddler. The kitchen is well stocked, bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the pool was a treat! The online description is spot on.
Daniela could not have been more helpful and responsive! She coordinated groceries that were at the house upon our arrival, a golf cart rental, a private chef that cooked dinner one night and spa treatments. She also answered many questions we had about other activities and local necessities. We would definitely go back!

My siblings with spouses and I spent a week in Tamarindo early June. We stayed at Casa Bella Vida and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful house. It was perfectly clean, very well decorated with a well stocked and very large kitchen. The living room is a little bit small, but there are a lot of sitting options outside and with the fans going it was never too hot. Our property manager, Kattia, was extremely helpful with tour planning and general advice. We did have a couple of maintenance issues and these were addressed promptly. The house is just minutes from the town and the beach. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to Tamarindo.

Flathead Valley, Montana to Tamarindo, Costa Rica...what an experience! Kattia with Horizon was amazing. She was incredible from start to finish. Casa Bella Vida was ideal for 8 adults traveling together. Space enough to gather, commune and rest after adventuring. Having a pool, outdoor shower, and nicely appointed kitchen was a blessing. All the Housekeeping and Maintenance staff that was in an out throughout the week were kind, and friendly. We would absolutely stay at Casa Bella Vida again!

Despite not being on the beach or having an ocean view, this is a perfect contemporary hideaway for an extended family gathering. Separate areas for privacy with awesome outdoor gathering areas…just the right amount of sun and shade. The listing pics are accurate! It is THAT contemporary, well-appointed, and new. Cutlery could have been sharper:). The walking distance to the main beach access point is OVERSTATED in the listing…5-7 min tops. 1-2 min by golfcart and there is always parking. There are some unofficial parking cops, but for a 1000 colones they make you feel secure.
Daniela at Horizon was amazing and our many messages never lingered more than an hour. The pool was cleaned daily and the living spaces cleaned 3X in our 8 days.
A single criticism if any: no convenient plug-in for our cart rental, but we made do fine.

Look, they won't promise you this (because, how could they?) but every single day of our 8 days there Howler monkeys in groups of 6 to 15 traversed the trees over this property. So much fun to watch. Now, it's usually around 6:30 am... but still.
Great location. Clean place. We had four couples so the two casitas along with the house and its three bedrooms was perfect for us.
And, the property manager Kattia is unbelievably helpful with any small issues and the fun things you want to do like zip lining and snorkeling boats.

Me, my fiancée, and our family stayed here over our elopement. Kattia from Horizon Pacific was extremely responsive and helpful at all hours of the day, even outside of business hours. She helped us book excursions, arranged for groceries to be delivered, and even sent maintenance out when a breaker blew. The house itself was perfect for families, as the casita in the back offered more privacy for couples than the main house. The house and management team ensured we had a beautiful elopement. I can't thank Kattia enough!
