Upstairs loft has a day bed with trundle for extra accommodations. Open floor plan with cathedral ceiling in great room, well-equipped kitchen, many Smart TVs, super fast WiFi, Alexa-enabled music, Jacuzzi bathtub, W/D, hot water outdoor shower, lots of outdoor furniture. The 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor each have their own bathroom. The upstairs bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom. Water views from every room!! Great beach access. Bring your family and enjoy!!! The location on the canal and second row from the ocean was ideal as was the pool. The house layout is good, too. The interior and furniture are dated with some pieces broken. Additionally, the house could use a deep clean. A deck off of one of the bedrooms was under repair, so unusable. We’d love to visit here again but would hope the cleaning and repair issues would be resolved.

The host was very accommodating and provided excellent directions to make it easy to get into the house after a long drive. There is plenty of room to sprawl out in the house. The view from the crow's nest is awesome. The pool was great, and the access to the inlet was a welcome surprise.

Holden Beach was a nice, quiet little town. This house is located a short walk to the beach. The private pool was nice and we were able to see a sea turtle from the private dock. The home had all the standard equipment as needed for a week-long stay. Our listing said there was a hot tub and had a picture of a gas grill, neither were included but the owner was very responsive when I brought those issues up and the listing has been edited. There is a charcoal grill. Overall the house was nice and perfect for our family.

Second time at this place and won't be the last. Everything is as advertised. Had an issue with the dryer and it was fixed in less than 24hrs. Al is a great host, we look forward to next summer.

Property photos are accurate but the property needs some updates to the bathrooms, kitchen and furniture. There were issues with bugs and the upstairs toilet that were brought to the owners attention. Property is close to the beach and the pool was great.

Our stay was fantastic and we enjoyed every minute. The roof top is perfect for extra windy days and star filled nights!! The heated pool was definitely worth it and we will enjoy a stay in Holden again!!

The place was very clean and neat. Very well stocked. Grandkids enjoyed fishing off the dock and everyone enjoyed the pool. Walk to beach access was a bit challenging with children. Would recommend to guests, a beach cart/wagon that would make it much easier.

The house is clean and has a great open floor plan with plenty of room for family and friends to gather and play. Every room has its own TV and Roku setup, and the loft leads out to a widow’s walk for fantastic stargazing. The kitchen is a little tight, but what one isn’t with 8+ people staying in a house? Public beach access is close by, and the pier and general store (and ice cream!) are only a few blocks away as well. The owner was prompt and polite in all communications. This house will definitely will be on our list to stay again in the future!

Amazing home with great views of both the intercostal waterway and the ocean across the street. Beds were comfortable and clean. We had a slight problem with the pools heater not working but owner was responsive and issued a refund for the inconvienence. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Mary Sol. The house had plenty of space, and then some with lots of water views. Close to beach access. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was even a welcome bag with a starter kit of essentials. We will definitely return!

Staying at Mar-Y-Sol was absolutely perfect. Just what we were looking for for a family vacation. Everything was as is on the ad. So pretty and perfect setting. With the ocean across the street and the canal behind the house; there was easy access to all waterways. Kayaking, fishing, crabbing and looking for shells was fabulous. The house was clean and spacious. AND THE POOL....a plus...it was soooo hot out. Al is a wonderful host and responded immediately to me when I had a couple of questions. (Thank you Al).

This was our first time in Holden and this house could not have been more perfect for us! We thoroughly enjoyed the private pool and loved how close we were to the public beach access! The amenities provided were great and the welcome bag was such a nice touch. The only thing we wish was different was that all bathrooms had showers, as the one bedroom just has a jacuzzi tub. Not super inconvenient and we just shared with the kids upstairs. We also loved the rooftop deck and enjoyed our morning coffee out there every morning. This is a perfect property for families and for those who like to split their time between the pool and beach. We can’t wait to come back!

The beach was a short walk and the dock behind the house was a huge favorite!!!! We caught fish and crabs with fishing rods and used nets to catch shrimp and crabs too! The kayaks were awesome too! We fished from the kayak and my son went on his first kayak ride! We loved the pool too!!! It’s so nice to have the pool for the kids and for us to cool off in! The beach was huge and fantastic! We found a lot of shells and crabs!

We all loved the layout of the house. Just what we needed for 6 people. Loved the pool. Kayaks were a great feature. This is our 15th year vacationing at Holden Beach, first time in September. Loved the weather. Always great eating fresh seafood.

Wonderful location and excellent host!
This property was perfect for a large family, with the multiple room and bathroom options! The kitchen was well stocked and the complimentary bag of necessities, including toilet paper, paper towels, a dish sponge, bleach wipes, as well as a few small gifts for our children (an activity book, goggles and cookies!), was a nice touch! The linens were well laundered and organized, even labeled and sanitary wrapped. Outdoor showers made it easy to keep sand from making it's way into the house after our beach trips, which were only a block away, walking distance! The pool was very clean and our children had a blast playing with all of the floats and toys available for use. It was a beautiful view from the rooftop as well as the back deck. Parking was easy and spacious. The host was amazing; friendly and considerate, ready to answer any questions we had! We will definitely be staying here again and will log this as one of our favorite destinations!

Great amenities and very well equipped
The owner has thought of everything in equipping the house. Location is great. Right near public access to the beach (check this before renting anything but oceanfront in Holden Beach). The pool was so welcoming, many days we didn't make it to the beach. There are not many restaurants in Holden Beach, but it is centrally located between Southport and Little River/Shallotte/North Myrtle Beach, which gives you all the variety those places have to offer.

Break from the hustle and bustle
I will start by saying this vacation was much needed. After a year filled with unease and huge changes my family and I were ready for a break. The house was immaculate, the pool was heated and the beach was not even a five minute walk. We spent our days looking for shells, swimming in the pool, playing ping pong and just enjoying the views and open airy feeling that this home offered. It was the perfect place to recharge our batteries. My 9 year old twins cried when it was our last day, but we assured them that this will be a yearly tradition. Thank you so much for welcoming us to this wonderful home.

Communication with property manager was superb, very helpful, friendly and professional. House was amazing it was clean, big, had everything you can possibly need, TV in every room and the swimming pool was awesome and we fished off the dock we had an excellent relaxing family week will definitely be back next year.

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at Marysol. Al was great to work with and was very quick to address any questions that we had before and during our stay. The dock and canal was perfect for bringing the boat and the pool was a plus when we wanted to get away from the sand and ocean.
