Sitting a mere mile from the gorgeous sandy stretch of Ogunquit Beach, there will be no delay in packing a picnic and spending an afternoon listening to the waves. Though the beautiful coast is the main draw here, exploring the town will be just as fun. Local restaurants and adorable shops line the streets, so pop into some of the places that catch your eye, as they will not disappoint. Some local favorites nearby are Barnacle Billy's, The Front Porch Piano Bar and Restaurant, and Ogunquit Beach Lobster House! Plus, for a bit of fun for the whole family, Cape Neddick is home to York's Wild Kingdom and Nubble Lighthouse both sitting within seven miles of the home base.

Great location easy access to downtown and Perkins Cove on foot. Nice place. Didn't have a hair dryer and we weren't told the dehumidifiers needed to be empty each day.. Overall place was good!

This was a good home base for us while vacationing in the southern part of Maine. The location was great and it had all the basic requirements to make our trip comfortable. Having access to both an indoor and outdoor pool was very nice. We would book this place again.

Clean and well equipped one bedroom with two bathrooms. Perfect for a small family. Has everything you need for a short visit except for an onsite laundry facility. Picturesque area in the back with picnic tables and charcoal grill. Close to restaurants and Perkins Cove. Located almost across from the Ogunquit Play House.

There were a number of issues, including no pillows or blankets for the hideaway bed. The latter was not clean and very uncomfortable. The main bedroom was humid and damp, which explains why there were two dehumidifiers in the room and two air conditioners. One of two parking passes was not provided. When I contacted VRBO (Vacassa) by phone, I was able to speak to a very nice agent in El Salvador and he assure me that he would contact the local managers. In the end, nothing was ever done to address my concerns.

The first impression was outdated furnishings. Many extra fans, there was no light over the dining table and chairs. The sofa was threadbare and not even comfortable. There were papers under the beds. NO WIFI!!! I have never have a television that we had to use our home Hulu. Now for the bathrooms, mold along the tub, no GRAB BARS to keep from falling in the tubs, the counter tops were very low as well and the toilets (NOT ADA Height) for those of us who are not children under 7. The beds had steel springs with almost no padding at all. We are sure you have more than 1 Senior who would appreciate having them. We think you got the picture

On the plus side: location, big unit with two big beds, two baths, wifi, roku TV and easy check-in. But original baths and kitchen. Good coffee maker and toaster but everything else is the bare minimum. If you rent make sure you come with appropriate expectations.

The property is in need of an update. The kitchen is almost unusable due to a lack of adequate counter space, missing measuring spoons and cups, and pots and pans missing covers. Couch cushions are sunk into the frame.

Each bed has only one blanket and no spares. Slightly concerned about how much that bed spread gets used.

Perfect place to land

Perfect place to land

Close to the beach and walk to town, spacious enough for 3 , 2 bathrooms a plus! Downside no laundry on sight and no broom or vacuum to clean up with. All in all I highly recommend if you are on a budget and just need a place to land at night after exploring.
