Lovely home away from home for beach escape

A fantastic stay! Comfortable and spacious and close enough to beach if you did want to walk. Not a long drive if you don’t. Would be great for a small family with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Great to have washing machine as well (and laundry liquid available) and plenty of space for my pet. Plenty of towels and linen as well.

Not being on the beachfront…but if you can bear that like I did you’ll be fine.

Excellent place to stay for groups or families, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms! Unfortunately it rained for our entire stay so we didn't get to use the pool.

It was a pleasant stay with our friends so we could catch up, go for walks

The accommodation for two couples was great with each having an ensuite. The house has plenty of space for sitting. The bed we slept in was very comfortable.

The pool could use a cleaning and the gardens could be tidied up.

Great spot in Mission Beach - excellent value.

It was so nice to stay in a stand alone house. It was so spacious and private. The kitchen was well appointed - best frypans I’ve ever used!! We loved staying here so much we extended our visit.

Even has lovely big veranda out the front with roll up privacy screens.

The whole place was fantastic, it had everything we needed, both bedrooms were huge, one with a massive bed. We were sad to leave and wished we stayed longer. Will stay again if we ever get the chance.

There was nothing not too like. We loved every minute there. Loved sitting outside in the patio area it was so relaxing having a few drinks.

Lovely accommodation, good space inside and out to relax. Facilities good, beds good.

We two friends were attending a bridge event in Mission Beach. The Royal Palm cottage provided wonderful accommodation, close to the event but still with our own space. We wished to cook our own meals and sit and relax through the event and then a couple of days after.

Just what we needed to get away

We booked the house last minute and the hosts were more than accommodating. The pool was beautiful and relaxing. The house could easily fit a family plus more, just wish we had more time to stick around and use the fishing rods and outdoor setting.

A little hidden gem.

The security and privacy, the pool, the undercover outdoor space and the beautiful garden all added to our relaxing stay at this lovely place.

The second bedroom was not made up when we arrived but this was a minor matter and we quickly fixed that problem because the hosts had told us where to locate extra sheets if required. Overall, this was a stunning little cottage.
