Very clean accommodation above an excellent restaurant in a quiet location a short ride away from Dubrovnik.

The property was very clean and comfortable. The evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. The pool was an added treat. Good location out of town.

The hot tub was too cold. The breakfast took far too long to be prepared.

Absolute Empfehlung zu einem sehr guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

Sehr gutes Frühstück und tolle Terrasse, super freundliches Personal, schöne und modern eingerichtete Unterkunft. Mit Uber ist man für ca. 10-12 EUR in der Altstadt von Dubrovnik.

Pool-Landschaft war eher lieblos und sah nicht sehr gepflegt aus.

Wir würden jederzeit wieder gerne zu Gast sein.

Die Lage abseits des Trubels von Dubrovnik bei gleichzeitiger raschen Erreichbarkeit der Altstadt mit dem Bus. Die Unterkunft ist äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sauber und verfügt neben PKW-Stellplatz auch über einen kleinen Bereich mit Pool. Die direkte Lage am Wasser ist klasse. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend. Der Service in Unterkunft und Restaurant ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

L environnement et le confort de la chambre ainsi que le restaurant.

De ne pas avoir pu bénéficier de la piscine ( eau trouble) sans explication. Jaccuzi baché avec eau froide. Petit déjeuner sans laitage et insuffisant avec du pain rassit.

We left after 1 day

When we arrived at our hotel room on the 17th October, we were greeted with a small attic room, with a skylight (photo attached) - no windows, reduced headroom for half the floor area and two twin beds pushed together with single duvets. It was not the standard King room we were expected and had booked. We immediately complained and asked to be given a better room - this was not forthcoming, although was offered the following day when we said we would be leaving. The other issue at that time was the distance the hotel was from the town. The description of the hotel on Booking.com and other sites says the hotel is 3.6km from the old town, a few minutes drive it says as you can see on the attached. It is probably 3.6km if you could fly directly over the very tall hill between the hotel and the old town. You actually had to drive around the hill, and then around the lovely river (about 11km according to the taxi driver) to get from the hotel to the old town. We enjoy walking and were very happy when it was descibed as being that close to the old town, as we planned on walking on various days. I feel we were totally mis-led by their description. It took a bus 30 minutes to get from the hotel to the old town. Thus on this fraudulent description we would expect the refund alone! The other issues with the room include a TV that didn't work (no volume), a mouldy shower and a waste basket that had not been emptied from the previous occupants! I understand it is the end of the season for them but it was unacceptable. The final nail in the coffin just made us feel as though we really weren't wanted. On arrival at the hotel we were shown a menu for dining in the restaurant, very nice food, in English as well as Croatian. Great we thought - when we sat down in the evening to a meal, we were informed it was now the winter menu and no, there was no English translation!!!

Lovely location, comfy beds, great staff. Excellent!

The location was right beside the water, on a small local road, with the beautiful enclosed outdoor dining area set in front, also overlooking the sea, sheltered by olive trees. Our apartment was in the building beside, having everything we needed, lots of cupboard space, very comfortable beds, lots of power sockets (bring your adapters) and excellent shower room facilities with a really powerful shower. A balcony on the living room and master bedroom with a table and chairs allowed us to look out over the water, and dry our towels and beach wear. I would have loved to have had a parasol as the bases were there but we weren’t there long enough to worry about it (as we were out all day, plus a storm - Babette- was due to draw in so it wouldn’t have been sensible to have it up). There was also ample parking. The staff were lovely and so friendly too. I’ll be coming here again. Breakfast is included and is ample for starting the day. Slightly simple in variation but if you wanted omelettes, toasted sandwiches or something else, you just need to ask. They made us a breakfast to go as we had an early flight to catch. So nice!

Clean, friendly hotel

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was really clean and had a fantastic view of the port. Breakfast included was tasty, not a big selection but there was prepared eggs om request.

In the future when visiting Dubrovnik I would get something closer to the city. There is nothing of interest near the hotel and the bus station was a bit of a walk. The room is also a bit smaller than I was expecting.

This would be my place to stay if and when I return to Dubrovnik.

We were a group of 21 celebrating milestone Birthdays and this hotel couldn't have worked out better for us as we rented the whole place. It's about 10 mins into the Old City by taxi or there is conveniently a bus just at the top of the road about 1 km away and only 2 Euros each way. The rooms were modern, comfortable and had everything we needed. A buffet breakfast and then omelettes or fried eggs were a separate choice also included. There is a lovely secluded area with hot tub, small swimming pool and shaded area for lying around and reading a book. The restaurant is operated separately from the Bogo Galijun and was great food, although on the more expensive side. The great thing about this hotel is that it's away from the VERY busy hustle and bustle of the Old town and it's a peaceful haven to come back to. The Inn owns a replica 16th century Galleon and we were dubious as we didn't want a booze cruise but it was not like that at all. We set off at 9:30 a.m and were back you 6 p.m. Great lunch on board, explored 3 islands and swam. Well worth doing at 60 Euros per person with lunch included. We, as a group, can highly recommend Bogo Galijun, especially if you have a large family or group of friends wanting a special place to all be together.

Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen

Lage direkt am Wasser, Frühstück war gut und konnte direkt auf der Terrasse eingenommen werden. Super Ausblick und klasse Wetter. Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Hätten gern auch mal zu Abend im Restaurant gegessen aber leider sind die Preise etwas zu sehr überteuert. Bei Speisen kann ich zwar die Qualität nicht beurteilen aber schon allein die Getränke stehen zu keinem Verhältnis mit Deutschland. Bei günstigeren Preisen wäre das Restaurant bestimmt auch besser besucht.

La tranquilidad de la zona y las vistas, el dueño muy amable y simpático.

El apartamento está renovado, es amplio y cómodo, pero imposible de localizar, viajamos en nuestro coche y tuvimos que contratar un taxi para que nos llevase y el taxista lo consiguió después de llamar al dueño. En la cocina no había nada, ni una simple cafetera, en el baño ni gel. El desayuno paupérrimo, no es un hotel, ni es un apartamento.

Very good

The flat was perfect for a family of 4. The private large balcony and hot tub was fantastic. The swimming pool was a nice extra. Food was lovely. Waiters and staff could not do enough to make our stay extra special. The trip to Dubrovnik on the Galleon was also very welcomed and created more great memories on our last night. Thank you so much Bo-Go Galijun for making our stay very special.

Dubrovnik is nice to see but tooo much expensive for what they offer you there.

The breakfast was not, basically you did not have what to eat, just eggs and bread and cornflakes with milk. The food was not fresh, and the fruits was with spiders on them(watermelon). I like just the view from the window, nothing else.

The place is over over rated, is over price, for 2 nights we paid 648 € and they give us just one bed to sleep. If I knew I was paying something more and I was going in the center of the town. From there you need to walk 15 min until the bus station and after another 20 min with the bus until the town center. I don’t know why people don’t write the reality on site and give them so good reviews without to be good. They don’t care so much about customers. They just have a house and rent it. They didn’t clean, the bathroom was dirty. For a family with 2 small kids we don’t recommend this place. Better pay little more and stay in one good hotel. The town is nice but is very expensive everything. If you want to go, is better you go in winter time when is not the season, because in July when we was is crowded and much more expensive.

It was terrible at dinner time, another table made us feel really uncomfortable by smoking towards our table and staff refused to support us. Also the mattress was old, ultra soft made us sank in in bed.

A quiet modern place to star with stunning restaurant views

A beautiful location overlooking the bay, very quiet with modern furnishings. Their restaurant downstairs has stunning views- food was amazing and the waiters treated the guests in a very respectful and professional way. The hosts were very helpful and allows us to check in early and to leave our car prior to our stay and even after we checked out. It was a beautiful little getaway for us. The bus to Dubrovnik old city leaves from a bus stop only 300m away , every 20 mins it was very easy to go around.

We thought the breakfast buffet was a little limited , would have expected more options but we enjoyed the eggs made for us on top of the buffet 😊

Really comfortable quiet room, beautiful setting, friendly and helpful staff and excellent restaurant.

Beautiful location outside Dubrovnik but with an excellent regular 20 minute bus drive into Dubrovnik. Fantastic restaurant as part of hotel and staff were so friendly and helpful especially Ivan, the manager.

Apart from one bar in walking distance there are not other restaurants or bars. That did not matter to us as we were only there for 3 nights and we used the brilliant bus service to get into twos.

Perfect!

Fantastic place to stay, you’re 15-20 mins from Dubrovnik city! We were able to park our car at BoGo for free! All the staff were AMAZING they couldn’t do enough for you and are interesting to talk to etc! The food in the restaurant is second to none, absolutely delicious! Again our room was great, everything you needed and more! We will definitely return!

The room was very clean, like super clean, spacious parking space, the bed was comfortable and the room was also big for the price we paid! Ivan was also helpful and very nice, wish to stay longer there!

The location was in the small street, but it's quiet and relaxing. So it's not really a bad thing after all.
