The view and terrace is beautiful, but has a separate door outside the room and is not connected to the room you stay in. The room was clean but super tiny as everyone mentioned. Would not recommend!
Both check-in and check-out were not pleasant. We arrived on a rainy day. We informed the host two hours ahead on our arrival when we would be there (as he asked for). When we arrived there were no one to meet us. We texted and got no response. Called and was told to wait (outside in the rain) because they were busy with other check-ins. Finally the host came 30 min later and was giving a super stressful and quick introduction, and we just felt it was not inviting or pleasant at all. Only said hi to me, and totally ignored my husband. Not a better situation when we left.
In general we would definitely not recfomand staying at this place, and not recommend staying in this town as it is over crowded with tourists, prices are much higher that elsewhere, and you littleraly have to pay for everything (bowworing a toilet, watching the view etc), with pretty bad costumer service in most places. There are also just small supermarkets that also are overpriced. Come visit for the day if you like.
Lots of wird things with the accommodation as well:
- hot shower lasting very short
- water in sink sprouting in all directions
- super intens smell that we had to move
- a tv that is placed on the side of the wall which makes it impossible to watch from bed (only place to sit in the room)
- only few hengers for your clothes. Rest has to go under the bed to make space.
- the locks on the doors are super hard to open
- we also didn't get room service the first day and had to ask for it.

Great room and location! Lots of stairs to get to location but definitely manageable.

Such a beautiful space! The room is small though well equipped and the patio space is amazing! Really wish we had more time here :) Also appreciated the host connecting us with parking.
Check-in was a little confusing as we had a difficult time with the provided directions. However, once we figured ourselves out, the directions made sense. Also had to wait to check-out as the host had popped out. The drive to Vernazza is along a steep and narrow road so would recommend taking the train.

The view from the terrace was stunning! We spent our first evening and last morning out here admiring the view. Highly recommend to escape the afternoon crowds as well! Also, the service and kindness was unbeatable!
The air conditioning doesn’t work super well. We got by and it cooled off fairly well in the middle of the night but needs to constantly run. We wish the bed was slightly more comfortable.

We stayed 2 nights here and wished for a 3rd. Yes, there are stairs to climb to reach it but it’s worth it! If you make arrangements with the owners prior to your arrival, they will meet you at the train station and help you with your bags. The veranda is a truly amazing place to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine.
There was a strong smelling air freshener in the unit. I am sensitive to scents so I just moved it outside. No problem!

Absolutely stunning location. The private balcony was spectacular and the hosts were very pleasant.
The room was very small, but the outdoor space made up for it

Nice little room, an amazing private terrace near the room (no direct exit from the room)
The air-conditioner didn't work properly, the hot water for the shower is very limited.

great outdoor terrace
terrace is not directly off off room. need to get dressed and go outside down the steps etc. and unlock the door to get into the terrace. Advertising makes it look like the terraces right outside the front door. Hot water in the shower last only 1 1/2 minutes and it’s freezing cold. The room is smaller than an interior cruise ship the smallest room we’ve ever been in. The Fossett in the bathroom spews water all over you if you turn it on too high.

Stunning views. Room is tiny but Murphy bed means room for bags. TV works (grateful 10 yo appreciated linking to Disney Plus to watch Luca)
There is a steep climb to get to it with heavy bags. Terrace is separate access - very close but not direct. Mattress is quite firm and unyielding. Window could use a black out shade. Construction when we were there, though off-season and graciously didn’t start until 8:30ish.

Fabulous view from the private terrace.
The room was far too small ... luggage was kept in the underbed container which is the only option. Lucky for that container .. too bad if someone was resting and you needed something from your luggage.

The apartment is located just off the main street so a great location. Fantastic, private terrace. Beautiful room with excellent facilities
There were lots and lots of steps to get there but that is Vernazza for you! The bathroom sink was very stylish, but not very practical. The water overshot the bowl and when the plug was down, it didn’t retain water.

Clean, cozy room with an awesome terrace (several chairs, table, loungers and a shower) that had stunning views of the Mediterranean. It had a little sink, coffee/tea amenities, a safe, a nice large shower and comfortable bed.

We returned to this little flat for our anniversary and it was delightful. It has been renovated since we were here in July of 2000 and thus even more comfortable. While it is up quite a few stairs, our very professional (and hard-working) host, Federico met us and helped us to carry up some of our luggage. The room has a nice, big comfortable bed and the A/C and WiFi were super powerful. (We didn't watch the TV.) The bathroom has a wonderful shower and the kitchen has a sink and a small refrigerator (that was stocked with water and Schweppes Tonic water...nice...wish we had brought some Gin!) and a little counter with basic coffee/tea supplies and a few biscuits and jam and cups/glasses for coffee, tea and wine (and a corkscrew!). A great breakfast buffet was included with our room and served in town each morning at one of the restaurants (on the main piazza by the sea) and far exceeded our expectations (and the servers were very friendly and professional). But the real gem of this place is the adjacent private terrace which overlooks the sea. The terrace is ample-sized, with barstool chairs and a table (for wine and snacks, of course) and the chaise lounge chairs were super comfortable and had some cloth awnings that offered shade. But it was the outdoor shower that was the best surprise...amazing (with warm water, too). We were there during some exceptional hot July days and the outdoor shower allowed you to periodically rinse off and cool down and stay on the terrace for hours...even during peak heat. Federico was always a phone call away if we needed anything and the daily cleaning service and restocking of supplies offered was a welcome surprise (we didn't need the cleaning, but the restocking of supplies was really appreciated). The parking is at a parking lot a few km away for an extra fee, but a free (non-air conditioned) shuttle will drive you to and from the edge of the village, which is very walkable.
I suggest including a few small plates and some forks and knives and spoons. We chose to get some snacks and wine from the local shops and have our aperitivo on the terrace and this would have been helpful.
The bathroom sink is beautiful and really stylish. But the water does tend to splash a bit on the wooden counter (and on the floor) if you aren't careful.

The terrace is outstanding! The view is fabulous and you can make all the walkers jealous and appear in everyone’s first shots of Vernazza!! It is perfect though for chilling after a day of walking and the outdoor shower is ideal to cool off. And lovely for sunset drinks.
the location is great, parking easy and the family who own it are lovely.
so fabulous to see Vernazza first thing in the morning and late at night when the tourists hoards have gone and you are left with locals (and a few other select tourists). very special to see
nothing to not like

The location was amazing. Central to the village with all its bars, restaurants, shops, train station and blue trail walks, but tucked out of the way and very private. The balcony made the apartment super special. In April, the sun was there from 10am to 7pm. Frederico was on call to assist, if needed. The room was cleaned everyday, with towels replaced and refreshments topped up. Whilst the apartment was small (accurate measurements were in description), there was hanging space & easy to access great under bed storage. There was even a little outdoor washing line for if you’ve packed light! We stayed in the apartment for 6 nights and really didn’t want to say goodbye.
Nothing. It was all fantastic.

The place was really nice and the private terrace was truly outstanding. Small room but has everything you need. The staff was very helpful and responsive.
The breakfast is served at a place nearby the accommodation. It was by far the worst food we ate in Italy. Bread and focaccia as if it was prepared days ago, hard as a rock.

We had an excellent time staying in Vernazza and La Ripa. Our host was incredibly helpful and available as we needed. He provided great recommendations. The location was a quick walk to the train station and the many beautiful attractions in Vernazza. Finally, the private balcony made this a perfect trip. We highly recommend staying here and we plan to come back!

The views from the terrace is breathtaking
Nice breakfast at a seafront cafe included.
Federico gave us great recommendations on places to eat and see.
Great shower and bathroom.
While the terrace is amazing, you will miss the sunset since it face east-south (sun all day, except sunset)
