POOL & FITNESS ACCESS NOW AVAILABLE - As of June 16th, 2023 guests have optional access to the Canoe Club Family Pool and Fitness Center and the Moreland Pool and Fitness Center at a cost of $25/person per day (no charge for children 5 and under.) Guests will also have access to make reservations at Canoe Club & Cole's based on availability.
***Black out dates for Pool/Fitness Center/Canoe Club Restaurant and Cole's Restaurant Access are as follows
- May 24th - May 27th for Memorial Day, - June 29th - July 7th for 4th of July, These blackout dates are strictly determined by the Palmetto Bluff Club.

This beautiful and elegant, recently renovated home offers a bright and airy layout with comfortable furnishings throughout. Every detail of the Retreat reflects a design that has the essence of Lowcountry living at its core, spots for quiet mornings on the porch, for gathering with good friends and good conversation, a kitchen designed for both meal prep and lingering over dinner, all coupled with multiple porches for true indoor outdoor living. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all new, high-end appliances, bar seating for 4, a separate dining area that seats 8, plus a separate butler's pantry/coffee bar. If you need to fit in a bit of work from home, you'll find a quiet office space on the second-floor landing. The spacious screened-in porch is perfect for relaxing the afternoon away, and the fire pit out the backdoor will lead to hours and hours of story telling under the stars.
Spacious and serene, The Retreat has two primary suites on the first floor with two additional bedrooms upstairs including en-suite bathrooms. You'll appreciate the high-end details and thoughtful design choices that make this a dream backdrop for your Palmetto Bluff getaway.
The Retreat is located within the West Wilson neighborhood and is just a short walk to all that Palmetto Bluff has to offer.

Great property - Amenities at Palmetto a huge disappointment

This property was lovely - extremely well appointed and cared for. However, the change in policy by the hotel and the owner's group is ridiculous. We were grandfathered in regarding use of the pool since we made our reservations early but beware - if you did n to make reservations by April you will not be able to do much including having a pool for your use. We were not able to make appointments at the spa, reservations at any of the restaurants on the property and Buffalos was closed for repairs. Access changed on a daily basis and the property managers were not completely up to speed as to what we could and could not do. All they could do was apologize which was not helpful. Palmetto is a lovely place but the Montage management is taking a very short sighted view. We will not be returning (we have been vacationing at Palmetto for 5 years). If you have reservations for between now and the end of the summer, I would suggest that you question the management in depth or call the various amenities yourself to see what you can (and mostly cannot) do on this property. Greatly disappointed and a shame for the homeowners choosing to rent through VRBO.

This property was absolutely perfect for our family. vacation in every way. The home was beautifully appointed and included everything we needed for the week. The location in Palmetto Bluff was ideal for access to the bike trails, pools, restaurants, and golf. The entire family loved the stay and cannot wait to return next year.

There were four of us on a golf trip, and we really enjoyed the house, the neighborhood, and everything about the process. (The sheets and pillows were more comfortable than the ones I have at home!). Highly recommended.

8 Rockingham is a beautiful house in an amazing location in Palmetto Bluff. We stayed for 2 weeks and were really happy there. The house is equipped with everything you need for cooking and has a great coffee maker. Bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms/showers are big and new. Beds were comfortable. Jeff and Annette were very helpful and available when we needed them. The fire pit in the backyard was fun in the evenings. We would have liked to have an outdoor grill and working fireplace, but other than that everything was pretty much perfect. I would definitely stay there again if we went back to Palmetto Bluff.

Perfect week at 8 Rockingham. House is just as it looks in pictures. Palmetto Bluff is a great place to spend time with family. It was a 10 all the way around. Annette and Jeff at Stay In Palmetto Bluff were great to deal with and appreciated all of their follow up and help with reservations etc. We will be back.
