• No more than 16 occupants including infants and day guests at any time.

Please stay off the dunes and bushes. Stay on the dune walkover to get to the beach. Always watch your steps when you walk on grasses or the walkover.
BUGS: ants, mosquitoes, chiggers, palmetto bugs, cockroaches, silverfishes, spiders, love bugs, big bugs, small bugs, tiny bugs, and all kinds of bugs are part of Galveston's life. Because we are in the coastal region with wetlands and open ditches surrounding.
To control these pests, the house has been scheduled to be sprayed quarterly and annually by our local pest control company. Per our pest control company, the spraying does not prevent them from crawling or flying in during the open and close of getting in and out of the house. However, if they do get in, they won't survive. You might see them unexpectedly during your stay.
Do not leave the door open, close it immediately after use, turn off the outside lights at the doorways also help to minimize them from getting inside. Because lights attract bugs.
Please do not bring food, snacks, candy into the bedrooms to prevent ants. Please do not leave food crumbs on the floor, inside the house will attract ants, or the ground floor, outside where the picnic tables are, will attract wild animals such as snakes, ants, bugs.

This house is beautifully decorated and very clean! We enjoyed the big living area - kitchen, dining and sitting area with the lovely beach view. The 2nd floor patio area was great for hanging out in the shade while watching all the fun out on the beach. The walkway was so handy. We used the first floor area for cooling off and showering after a day at the beach. Having all of the beach equipment at the house-chairs, canopy, wagon- was very helpful. This was our second stay at this house!

Mai was an extraordinary virtual host. Communication was outstanding with helpful info at exactly the right times. The home is beautiful with modern décor. It has the essentials, as well as a few games and puzzles. The gulf views were beautifully even on the less-than-perfect weather days.

The property was beautiful. We were 8 adults and the place had 2 large couches in the living area and a large dining table. We came to scatter my parents ashes and it was perfect. The house was right on the beach just east of Stewart Beach where my parents spent time when they were young. It was really close to restaurants, the Strand and the Pleasure Pier. We did have an air conditioning issue, but I called Mai. She and her husband called their repair person, then brought over portable air conditioners. The repairman came right after and fixed the issue. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved our little weekend here as we could fit our family (with several kids) in the kitchen and living area and every bedroom had a full bath access! The beach was right there and felt like a private beach! We would definitely recommend and stay here again! The owners were so helpful and accommodating! Great at communicating, too! This house simply can not get any better. It exceeded every expectation; comfortable beds, great living space, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of linens and towels just to name a few. The location, the beautiful beach and the Gulf view are outstanding.
We arrived just before Christmas and just after a very rare hard freeze for Galveston. The freezing wind and the low temperatures froze the water pipes despite every and all precautions taken by Mia and Tom. After many calls for assistance and working for hours trying to resolve the issue themselves, we had water!!!! Their concern and attention and determination to make this a good vacation for my family was incredible and I can never say enough good things. Thank you so very much!

Lovely property, Excellent location, Amazing Host
This was the first family vacation we had taken in over 16 months and, given current health, economic, and safety concerns. Our stay at Wilde Dunes exceeded expectations. Our group ranged in age from 2 years to 60 years, evenly split between children and adults, and males and females. Everyone had a great time and did not want to leave. We had no concerns about safety, health, etc. The home was very clean and sanitized which is important for our family which suffers from auto-immunes, asthma, allergies, migraines, and hypersensitivity to fragrances and odors. The location was exclusive, yet accessible for dinner and grocery deliveries. Mai, our hostess, was phenomenal. She was prompt, accessible, pleasant, knowledgable, and accommodating. Mai took great care of us and we honestly did not miss concierge services at all. We plan to schedule another family vacation at one of Galveston Luxury Vacation Rentals' properties next year and we highly recommend Mai and Wilde Dunes. Thank you Mai!

Another excellent vacation in Galveston
Our family of 10 visits Galveston every other year for a beach vacation. This is the second time we’ve rented from this company. Both of the houses have been fantastic for our family. We found that the descriptions online matched what we found in the houses. Perhaps even more important, the owners are very responsive to any communication regarding the properties. I invariably got a call back within minutes I’m sending a note to the owners. They even called us about an hour after we checked in to confirm that all was in order. We will definitely consider their houses for our next vacation and Another excellent vacation in Galveston.

Perfect stay for large family
This home was a great getaway for us and our two children and their families. Very spacious, great floor plan and view. Nice details in the home. There wasn’t anything needed other than food. The management was always available if we had a question. At this point with no houses on either side it was private.

Gorgeous Beachfront Property
This house perfectly accommodated 5 families with multiple children. It was immaculately clean, and absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The view can’t be beat, and access to the beach couldn’t be any closer! I appreciated the open layout, massive kitchen island, and the large patios. The owner was extremely nice, and was sure to check in on us throughout our stay. We cannot wait to come back!

New Year- 2021
We (family group of 15) have stayed in Galveston 4 New year's in a row. This is a beautiful property, beautiful views, lacking nothing! Mai and Tom are the best part - answered all questions, easy to work with, checked in on us by phone and Tom even came over on New Year's Day to get our TV working again after a lightning storm so we didn't miss any college football! Mai sent back an item we had left in the closet. House is close to town and all amenities. Beach is close and clean. Perfect!

All around excellent experience
Our visit was relatively short, but we had a wonderful trip. The house is beautiful with an exceptional location. The size and layout work well for larger groups. Mai is a great host with excellent communication. We hope to stay here again on future visits.
