About this cabin rental
We are near Eufaula lake. Close to famous Italian restaurants (Pete’s Place, Gia Comos, etc.) and Famous “Lovera’s Grocery. less than 20 miles from Robbers Cave state park (hiking, fishing, swimming, family fun.) We are very secluded (gated private drive.) The hot tub is ready year round and swimming pool during season.
Serenity Acres is an animal rescue and your pets are welcome as well! There will be an additional $40.00 pet cleaning fee and you must contact host for details prior to arrival.

We always struggle finding somewhere we can stay with our 3 medium sized dogs (bc of weight, too many, breeds) but our dogs were welcomed with no concerns! There was even a fenced off yard so we could let them out from time to time. We were needing a relaxing weekend getaway from our busy city in Fort Worth, TX and that's what we got and more! Chuck and Klara thought of everything, even treats for the dogs! There's a lot to do on the property without having to leave but are close by many things if you decided to venture out. The place was clean, and comfortable. We are so glad to have found a place to bring our dogs and get away from city life. Being an animal sanctuary was a huge bonus because it was so fun to watch all the animals around us! We can't say enough about how great this place is and we cannot wait to make another trip there.

My wife and I stayed in June 2024 and had a wonderful time. Chuck and Klara are attentive hosts, and the cabin and grounds have tons of amenities that have been well thought out. It is clear that the hosts have attempted to anticipated every need and comfort their guests might want, and have sought to provide it for them. While it was great for a relaxing weekend with each other, we are excited about taking our kids in the future. The pool, playground, animals, trails, and so many other things make it the perfect place to get away with your family. Breakfasts far exceeded any expectation that we could have had. Everything was made from scratch and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend that anybody look for some peace and serenity go to Serenity Acres. It's beautiful, conveniently located close to good restaurants and grocery stores, as well as a quick drive to Robber's Cave and multiple outdoor activities. Again, the hosts are amazing. You will not want for anything during your stay. We had an amazing time.

The hosts were incredible! They catered to every need and want. They prepared and served delicious breakfasts every morning and the cabin was an oasis. And finally to be surrounded and being able to interact with all the sweet animals was awesome. We will be back!

If your not use to being loved on your in for a treat! Sometimes it’s hard for me to receive help. The hosts kindness softened me up a little. I’m raising my nephews and every question and request from the kids were answered with joy and happiness to serve! Our dogs are a source of comfort, so to be able to stay in a place where they had two fenced in areas run around. These guys thought of everything. Even the way the fence opened so the dogs could stay blocked in while I carried in our things. Breakfast was wonderful!
To have a homemade meal brought to your front door was incredible. The whole place is so peaceful and we slept very well on the beds. Loved it, can’t wait till we can go back.

Chuck and his wife are the best host EVER! Beautifully cabin thats fully stocked so no need to even leave...The pool and hot tub are super clean...We stay at alot of cabins and this stay was by far the best ever.. Oh....They make you homemade breakfast of your choice..Best biscuits and gravy ive ever had!

We will always come back to stay with Chuck and Klara! Absolutely the best people in the world and are so giving and kind. We cooked out, enjoyed the pool and had the BEST breakfast cooked by them. They always send us home with eggs too. It’s always hard to leave. Can’t wait to return!

We came here to take a break and give my wife a quiet birthday under the stars. What we didn't expect, the brilliant and utterly enveloping night sky would take third, even forth place in the category of memorable moments of an unforgettable birthday.
Chuck and Klara, I cant say anything that hasnt already been repeated about your amazing disposition, your impeccable property, or your absolutely lovely breakfasts, so I'll just take this moment to thank you both. Last year was the most challenging year of our little families life, and coming to your home and sharing just a few moments with you made up for all the time we spent in the valleys of 2022. Thank you for your warmth, your sincerity, thank you for Major and thank you for Toe. I've been lucky to travel the world, to live in foreign lands not just visit, but ive never traveled and found home like I did there with yall.

This was in a great location. It is a great place to get away from all stress life offers. We have stayed at several places with VRBO. A few things we loved about Chuck & Klara. First the home cooked breakfast are amazing and a treat! Second the amenities offered were great! From a hot tub to having a stocked kitchen of spices and supplies. We have stayed to where you have to buy salt and pepper just to cook. They have several rescue dogs, chickens, goats etc. This is a place to enjoy nature, unwind and enjoy time as a couple or as a family.

Chuck and Klara are amazing. This experience was magical. There were so many wonderful things that I don’t know where to begin and the made to order breakfast was good down to the last bite. The animals were friendly, enhanced the experience, and made it even better. This is by far the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had in my life. There were so many amenities that I feel like I did not even touch the tip of the iceberg. I NEED to go back. You literally have everything at your fingertips. The hosts are two of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met. They play wonderful music that just enhances the experience further. If this place isn’t on your bucket list - it should be. every minute is a delight - you will not run out of things to do. In every instance of every part of this vacation, you will see the hard work and love that the house put into making this experience perfect for you. You will not be disappointed if you visit this place. At a minimum this place will be an annual tradition for me. I hope that sharing this with you let you know just how wonderful of an experience you will have if you go here. Everything is cleverly outlined, thought of, we’re gonna be handled by your amazing and gracious hosts. Note: every animal there is a rescue and has hearts to match the wonderful hosts. You will be hard-pressed to find an experience that matches this one.

Our stay with Chuck and Klara exceeded our expectations. The personal touches to the home, the homemade daily breakfast to order and the simply gestures of care and concern made us feel like we were at home. We are planning on returning and sharing with friends and family this once in a lifetime experience. We now have friends in McAlester , OK that aided in facilitating a new start to my life! Excellent Stay
This place was just what we were looking for. Secluded, but not too far from towns and adventure. The property was lovely. Chuck and Klara were the best hosts! Little Slice of Heaven
One of a kind experience! Location was great and not to mention all the amenities and little things they provide to make the stay beyond enjoyable. Best of all is the breakfast!! Fun trip
Many thanks to Chuck and Klara for being so welcoming to their property, and making sure we were had a good time during our stay. My kids are 10 and 15, and both had a great time. There are things to do for families with kids of all ages. Lots of reasonably priced extra amenities in the cabin, as well as lots of complimentary items they provide. Everything is explained upon arrival. We used the pool, hot tub, and new zip line. Lots of fun! Lots of animals to watch right across from the cabin. Pen is kept clean. My daughter loved the animals, and the numerous rescue dogs on the property. All we encountered were well behaved. We didnt catch anything in the small pond, but we didnt get a chance to fish the bigger pond we were told about. Maybe next time. The breakfasts they prepared for us were so good! Whatever we wanted, with fresh fruit and orange juice every morning. You can tell they put a lot of thought into everything they do. My daughter wants to live there lol. Definitely a fun get away to remember! Thanks again!

Best Ever
Even before we arrived Chuck made sure we knew how to get there. He chatted with me via message line. He was always available to answer questions. When we arrived he and Klara greeted us and gave the complete tour. I just can’t say enough about Klara’s cooking. Her omelette is over the top. We had so much fun. My grandson loved the dogs. Also the new zipline. Best vacation ever!

Wonderful getaway
The property was beautiful and secluded. It was very relaxing. Chuck and Klara have the cabin so well stocked, better than any we have ever rented. All the coffee, creamers, spices, snacks, drinks you can imagine are already there. In addition to shampoo, soaps, even toothbrushes if you forgot yours. There are some great walking trails. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. We took our older ‘city’ dog and she had a wonderful time. The breakfasts are delicious!! But the best thing about the whole place is the hosts. They make you feel like family!! They have truly thought of everything. I’d give this place 100 stars if I could!!!

Short stay because of winter weather
We stayed for a few days for our anniversary having to leave a little early due to incoming sleet/snow. The breakfast they provided was A+. Everything the listing sold it to be and more. The rental was stocked beyond any other we have rented. They are a really great couple to host a getaway. The rental is close to their primary home, but was never an issue. We felt like we had a very private uninterrupted stay. The hot tub was clean, and in much better working condition than the last several places we booked.

Stay of a lifetime!!!
Okay. I usually don’t write reviews. But this beautiful place with Chuck and Klara…
It is perfect! In fact, we got engaged in their beautiful gazebo on the first night!
The amazing music, fantastic free breakfasts, adorable dogs and animal sanctuary…
We honestly were tearing up as we left.
Needless to say, we will be back very very soon.
Mind you, we were there during a winter storm and still had an absolute blast! The hot tub is perfect. The amenities… but the biggest blessing of all are the hosts, Chuck and Klara. We’ll see you guys soon!

5 STARs Is Not Enough
Chuck & Klara are without a doubt the best hosts we have ever stayed with and we've stayed in a lot of VRBO and others. They have thought of everything.
We loved the lodge, the property and the animals.
The hot tub was so nice, that's where we spent the majority of our time since the temps took a nose dive on New Years Eve.. Mad dashes from the freezing cold outside from the hot tub warmth on the porch to the amazing dry heat of the sauna in the front room...we loved it!!!
This is an animal sanctuary, so if you are an animal lover this is the place for you. Our puppo travels with us everywhere and she loved socializing with the dogs at the sanctuary and being part of the pack. She enjoyed the trip as well, which is important to us. Not only did Chuck and Klara think of everything for us, they also had treats and snacks ready for our puppo!!
I just cannot say enough good things about this VRBO location.
OH AND THE BREAKFAST!!!! Chuck and Klara cook the best breakfast to order(One of my favs about this place too!).
This is not a "fancy/swanky" place but if you are looking for a comfortable, well decorated "cabin feel" get away with the best hosts you've ever stayed with, this is the place!
We will without a question be back in the spring when the weather warms up!!
I would give a 100 STARS if I could!!

Chuck and Klara are amazing hosts. The complimentary daily home cooked breakfasts were amazing. They thought of everything down to the tiniest detail. They left our dogs treats and a tennis ball. Chuck even cleaned the grill after we used it. Such welcoming and friendly people. They kept making sure everything was to our satisfaction. The animals on the property were a fun addition to our stay. The property is very comfy. Had everything we needed to make our getaway relaxing.

Amazing hosts with the best breakfasts you’ve ever had!!
Klara and Chuck are the most hospitable hosts we have ever had in all the years we’ve frequented VRBO/AirBB. Not only does their hospitality go above and beyond but they are by far the most interesting people I’ve ever known. We came for a few days of relaxation visiting robbers Cave and were surprised by their extensive knowledge of the area surrounding the cave and the adjoining lakes. Not only did we find the best fishing spots but also the most awesome Italian grocery store that all the locals use in the nearby town of Krebbs! Their cheese and meat selection beats anything you will find at your local Walmart. We truly enjoyed all the animals, especially the cat who greeted me every morning just before breakfast, which by the way is better than anything you will find in a 5 star luxury hotel!! Klara’s breakfasts alone were reason enough to make the 4 1/2 hr trip for us. Her awesome cooking skills and attention to detail is something I promise you won’t forget! The property is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need whether you are planning on staying in or going out. Not only is there a pool, hot tub, hiking trails, fishing ponds etc. there is also a perfect spot to be married by none other than Chuck and Klara themselves. Chuck just so happens to be an ordained minister who offered to let my wife and I renew our vows at their beautiful altar. I can’t say enough about this place and will definitely be visiting again in the future. I feel like I didn’t just discovered a new vacation spot but more like I made two amazing friends that I can’t wait to see again!

We looked this property so much we decided on staying here again this year! We love the layout of the house, the shower, the deck with the hot tub and two bathrooms is a definite plus! Also the location is so easy! We look forward to staying next year also!

We can’t say enough great things about this beautiful, private getaway for all to enjoy. My husband enjoyed fishing in the ponds, our daughters enjoyed swimming in the pool and playing volleyball, and spending time with all the animals, our dog loved spending quality time with their kind dogs, I personally loved their delicious breakfast they make for you fresh daily and the sweet hosts we got to meet while staying there. This is one of our top places we’ve been so far because they have thought of everything and they truly have hearts of gold!!
