About this villa rental
Villa Charlana is a beautiful detached villa with a private swimming pool, located in the exclusive Los Mojones area of Puerto del carmen in Lanzarote. Conveniently situated close to the golden sandy beaches and within walking distance to many excellent Canarian and international style restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
The house has a spacious open plan lounge with fully fitted kitchen and quality furniture. The twin bedroom and family sized marble bathroom occupy the ground floor along with the kitchen and ample lounge/dining room. The master suite with a solid wooden flooring and en-suite bathroom are situated on the first floor with fabulous sea views from the two terraces.
The private pool is surrounded by sunbathing areas, a BBQ and private walled gardens. A covered pergola over the al fresco dining area, provides shade for the hotter days of summer. There is also a gated driveway with electric gates for those who wish to hire a car.
A large Lidl supermarket as well as the largest shopping centre of Puerto del Carmen are both less than a 5 minute walk away. The main strip of Puerto del Carmen, with its golden sandy beaches is barely a 10 minute walk away.

We will not hesitate to come back to this wonderful villa, it is like a home-from-home. Everything you require from your holiday will be found in Villa Charlana, from the outside space and pool to the inside comfort of the living area

Had a lovely relaxing stay at Villa Charlana, would recommend. Its clean, bright, the dipping pool was warm, the kitchen well stocked with glassware and pots and pans, everything you need if you are going to eat in. Shampoo and shower gel all provided. Dishwasher and washing machine.

Home From Home
A beautiful villa, located a few minutes away from the centre of puerto del carmen. All modern facilities, easy check-in and checkout. Quiet and relaxing, all English channels complamentry netflix excellent WiF. Washing machine very handy plenty of towels even beach towels avaible. Lidi five minutes away, shopping trolley avaible, water, beer, and milk in fridge on arrive. All condiments avaible tea coffee etc. Host avaible at all times re queries. David organised taxi to airport for us, plenty of hot water, air conditioning great, pool heated at an extra charge. Thank you we had a fantastic relaxing holiday in the villa.

Having stayed at this property many times before we were delighted to find the house had been refurbished to a high standard and the poolside area was upgraded and looked modern and fresh. New features such as air conditioning and Netflix access greatly added to the appeal. The location and degree of privacy makes this perfect for us.

Tolle und gut ausgestattete Villa und sehr netter Kontakt zu den Vermietern! Wir wurden bei der Anreise mit Snacks, Getränken, Milch etc versorgt.
Die Lage der Villa ist ebenfalls gut, 10 Gehminuten zum Zentrum. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Perfect place to stay
We were so happy to stay in Villa Charlana. Excellent location and very kind staff. The villa is comfortable and when we received the first day, there was some snacks and drinks waiting for us which was a very warm welcome.
We will definitely will go back there.

Fab Little Villa
Bright, modern and well equipped villa, with a small but very well kept outside pool area that lights up in a very pretty way in the evening.
The support and availability of the Buenavilla staff was second to none. I would be happy to recommend.

A wonderful villa, everything was just great! It is exactly as described!
From the moment we booked Villa Charlana the communication was excellent! When we arrived, we were met by David who explained everything that we need to know about he villa and the area! We can’t praise him highly enough he certainly went above and beyond in making sure we had a fabulous holiday! He popped along a couple of times text and rang just to make sure everything was okay! He actually called with a shopping trolley which made our shopping at Lidl so much easier. As you have to buy all your drinking water in Lanzarote, this trolley was brilliant. The welcome pack was a godsend until we went food shopping. We only bought a few essentials, but there is a Lidl only 5-minutes walk away which had everything we needed. The tv has absolutely 100’s of channels so if you do fancy catching up on any of your programs, they are all available! The beds were extremely comfortable, good quality bedding too! There were lots of super soft towels too! The pool area is stunning and very clean, the pool lad John came every few days to clean the pool and make sure it was okay, he recommended a few restaurants which we tried, brilliant! There is a safe in the villa and a fabulous alarm system which is so easy to use. You could walk from the villa to the beach, the strip and the harbour in 10-15 minutes, which was great. I must add that it takes a bit longer coming back as the walk to the villa is uphill. Taxi’s are very cheap, although we enjoyed the challenge and the exercise. All in all I would highly recommend this villa, you won’t be disappointed!

Eventually, after a few tries to come to Lanzarote to see my family, I made it! The Villa company were great, letting me change dates several times during the Covid months........
The Villa itself was excellent, its location, facilities, warm pool and comfortable. Even my weather was fab.
I have nothing but praise for the Villa company and the villa itself.

Gorgeous spot
We absolutely loved this place. The villa is better than even the photos show. It is a perfect location, quiet but within easy walking distance to the lively strip and only around the corner from Lidl. It’s a gorgeous little place. The pool is fab. Beds were extremely comfortable, which is so important when staying in a home away from home. We had a problem with the mattress downstairs when we initially arrived and both mattresses were changed within 24 hours. The service is next to none! Thanks again to David who organised everything. We will most definitely be back. Really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent stay
Loved the location of the villa. It was about 10 minute walk at most to the restaurants by the sea. A fantastic new bar/restaurant has opened 5 minutes walk away and the supermarket 6 minutes walk. It was a quiet area and the villa was ideal for our two week stay. Bit of a tight squeeze to park the car in the parking space at the front of the villa.

Dicht tegen de restaurants (op 500 tot 1500 meter zijn er ruim voldoende restaurants en winkels.
We mochten op onze vertrekdag nog wat langer blijven (late vlucht) wat heel aangenaam was.
nadelen :
Zeer slechte wifi, uiteindelijk hebben wij ons een locale simkaart gekocht.
Veel lawaai van het verkeer op de staat gedurende de nacht.
Zeer slechte bedden die dringend aan vervanging toe zijn.

Great holiday in Puerto Del Carmen.
The villa is well equipped and in a great location. Other reviews mention the road noise, to be honest it is evident during the day but in the evening it is relatively quiet. The TV channels only had SKY News, but we didn't come away to watch TV anyway. A welcome pack would have been a nice touch especially if you are new to the area. The villa could do with a touch up as it is a little tired in areas but it has a warm and homely feel. For two people the outside area is adequate but four may be a little crowded for sun bathing, and the pool is only for cooling off.
On the last day we had no water with no explanation given by the management team, so it was bottled water and kettles!!!
All in all we had a great holiday and we would definately use the villa again. The comments are an honest reflection and if some things are tweeked then it would deserve five stars. Gemma communicated in a timely fashion and was great to deal with.

A great place to stay near to the local shops and restaurants,the villa was clean and well presented, so cleaning equipment would be helpful if you were staying longer than a week
The pool is a dipping pool so perfect for cooling off, but not big enough to swim in however the beach is only 10 mins walk and is great.also the wifi is very hit and miss so make sure your data is topped up

Well positioned, compact, modern and clean villa, that needs a little attention outside
This villa is well positioned and elevated. Access to the old town and port area, and the more up-beat 'strip' with its many shops bars and restaurants, is walkable, though there is a climb back. Shops and Supermarket very close by.
The accommodation is compact, with a double and a twin bedroom. The upstairs suite has a bathroom and two sea-facing terraces. Downstairs is a further bedroom, bathroom and living space - all quite adequate. The shower was not as powerful as it might have been. In the kitchen we found everything we required for cooking dinner (which we did every other evening).
Outside, the garden did require attention (Feb 17) - one plant did actually impede entry to the pool steps, and another was getting to invade the patio space. The pool is very small and suitable for a cooling plunge. Two strokes would take you from one end to the other.
We did not use the pool, given the time of year, some inclement weather, and strong winds blowing leaf debris into the water. Also at the time the pool was in need of repair.
As there was only 2 of us, we had a very good supply of towels, and decent sized bath towels.
When we arrived the only provisions that were left from previous tenants, consisted of salt pepper and ant spray - virtually no loo roll, nor wash-up liquid - compared to what accumulates in other villas it was very sparse.
The villa is situated on a very busty road - Salinas is a 'rat-run' for taxi's and delivery vans, though the traffic noise did not affect us. On the other hand, the pool equipment (heater maybe) was a constant drone and could be heard at all hours - some soundproofing would be very welcomed.
The outside terraces are uncovered. The one facing east is overlooked, the one to the south is not. The patio terrace cover did not stop the squally showers from blowing rain right under. As a result, in inclement weather we were driven indoors.
Overall, would say this is a very nice villa, which could be made much better if a couple of the issues were addressed

Wish we were here!
Having visited Puerto Del Carmen many times we thought we'd try this villa. YES definitely the right decision. Central enough to get to everything you want/need but quiet and private enough to relax and chill. The villa has everything you need. Wi if available for a charge, and Some Sky Channels. Mind you we spent most of our time enjoy the garden and pool. Another big plus no fighting for sunbeds in the morning.
Can't wait to go back!

Sunny Stunner!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Casa Charlana. We found the location, size and privacy of villa perfect for us. Well maintained with everything we needed to ensure a very relaxing holiday. While in Lanzarote we did the Grand Island Tour and Waverider experience. We were lucky to spot Whales while out on the 2.5hr trip. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. No problems with booking and no issues with Villa that needed any attention during our stay. Many Thanks to Gemma.
