About this apartment rental
Summary:
This beautiful period property has been refurbished to a very high standard to offer bright and airy accommodations for guests visiting Glasgow. The property is located in the affluent Park neighborhood and is perfectly located for easily reaching the city center and the west end. There are some excellent bars, restaurants, and cafes just 2 minute walk from the front door. The beautiful Kelvingrove Park is 5 minute's walk away too.
The Space:
The property has been very tastefully refurbished to offer modern and spacious accommodation while retaining some of the original period features. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite shower room. The second bedroom also has a king sized bed and there is a bathroom adjacent with shower and bath. The living area has beautiful high ceilings and is well equipped with comfortable sofas, dining space and high speed broadband. I have recently added a top of the range sound bar so guests can enjoy their favourite TV shows/films. The kitchen is open to the living are and is full equipped for cooking a good meal.
The property also comes with a car park spot at the back of the property. This is quite a unique feature as all the surrounding area is metered parking.

Guests will have access to the entire property throughout their stay. All check in details will be sent in advance via our electronic guidebook link.
The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the affluent Park neighbourhood and is surrounded by great bars, restaurants and cafes. Woodlands Road is just 2 minutes walk and there are plenty of shops and bars to choose from. There is a Sainsburys grocery store in the petrol station on Woodlands Road that is well stocked for groceries.
Getting Around:
The property is well located for walking to the city centre and to the west end. It takes approx 20 minutes to the city centre and the same to Byres Road in the West End. There are bus stops on Woodlands road and from there it is 5 minutes into the city centre. Uber operates in Glasgow and a taxi to the city centre would only cost £3-4. The SSE Hydro is 5 minutes in a taxi or can be reached on foot in approximately 20-25 minutes. Glasgow International Airport is 20 minutes in a taxi and would cost around £20-25.
Other Things to Note:
We can arrange rental of a high chair and a travel cot if needed during your stay
Please note, check in is not available on the 25th of December and the 1st of January.

The apartment is very good. Just yards away from Kelvingrove Park. Parking a real bonus. All the advertised amenities. Gillian the property manager was extremely attentive. Minor issues with the keys not being in the box, however this was quickly resolved. As stated the apartment was on the second floor, however the stairs are long and there are also multiple steps from the road to the front door. In addition access to the car park involves even more stairs. The rubbish and unkempt appearance of the car park creates a very bad impression of what is a lovely apartment.

This owner provides excellent information about the city and safety. The apartment is clean and spacious. Great location for eating places and not a far walk to downtown Glasgow. There are stairs involved with getting to the apartment, but the climb is worth the comfortable and airy accommodations.

We were off to a bumpy start but the property manager was very responsive. Upon arrival the keys were not available so we waited an hour outside until manager brought the keys. Once we were inside, the cleaning was below average but the manager was responsive and offered solutions. A few items were in disrepair but overall the home has potential and it’s in a great area. I did appreciate how quickly the manager responded to issues and questions!

The flat was perfect for our family of three to visit our grandson at Uni and explore Glasgow. While being an easy walk to lovely restaurants, It was also wonderful to have a kitchen for tea and coffee in the morning, and a space to relax after a day of activities. The parking space provided is a welcome asset. Communication with the host was excellent.
