House and provisions in the house were very good and comfortable. Location was good and convenient for things we wanted to do. We had very good assistance and communication with Felicity. The following comments have no reflection on the property we stayed at. We were simply victims of bad timing to make our trip to this neighborhood. The main street where businesses and local restaurants are located (Hennepin Ave) was closed off and completely torn up and under reconstruction. Totally uninviting to explore. Lake Bke Maka Ska. within short walking distance. had signs posted prohibiting swimming due to high E-Coli counts. The Several miles of bike and hiking paths around the lakes and several play areas were enjoyable. The neighbor across the street from our house had their car vandalized and window broken out in the middle of the afternoon on our first full day in the neighborhood. Made us question the safety of the neighborhood. Some neighbors assured us that it was a safe area even though we so no presence of police during our entire time in the Uptown area of Minneapolis. This was the reason for our lower rating for location and neighborhood. These concerns will be gone at some point in time in the future. We did engage in many enjoyable activities outside the neighborhood, so don't let our moment in time prevent you from visiting Minneapolis.

We had a great stay for the week in the Uptown neighborhood. We enjoyed walking around the lake, eating great dinners, and family fun just hanging and playing games at the house. Thank you for providing a clean and well-stocked home with all of the essentials and more!

Owner was a dream to work with. We are a hotel family and rarely stay at VRBO, but decided it was the best option when traveling for a family wedding. The house came with everything we could possibly need and the area was perfect to walk to the lake or shops to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Nice older house located by coffee shops, restaurants and a lake (2 blocks away). Street parking. Had a guessing game with friends as to where the 2nd bathroom was (basement) and 3rd bedroom (3rd floor). Good amenities, pretty much everything you would need. No back yard, nice front porch with a glider and table. Bathrooms completely remodeled and nice. Floors are super squeaky. Nice overall.

I stayed in this lovely house alone for several days and with lots of family for a long weekend and it suited us all. It is a lovely old house with great moldings and wood floors but all the right updates--nice kitchen brilliant bathrooms. The house has four levels: lower game room and bath with a wonderful walk-in shower, main with a spacious living room and dining room and a fully stocked kitchen, second with three bedrooms and another fully updated bath, and fourth with a large bedroom with two queen beds. Can't say enough good things about the hosts and their thoughtfulness for the needs of guests--warm throws for snuggling in the living room, plenty of towels and all kinds of supplies in the bathrooms, a kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need. High recommend!

This space was really lovely and fit our large group well, we did not feel cramped and on each other's toes. The location is really incredible, making it easy to walk to the nearby Bde Maka Ska lake as well as all of the restaurants and bars in uptown. Would recommend this spot, it was really lovely and we would stay again!

House was perfect for our group of 8. Plenty of room to all eat in the dining room and then relax in the living room. Bedrooms were neat and comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully quaint older home near everything. We enjoyed our stay. The house had just about anything you could possibly think of needing. I was impressed. I think an available baby gate for the top of the quite steep stairs heading to level two would be helpful for children and elderly with dementia(as in our case). I may just not have seen it in the description, but would be helpful in the bedroom description to show that three bedrooms were on the second floor and an attic type bedroom was located on the third floor. We traveled with 3 elderly family members and there were three flights of steep stairs, if you include basement and third level. It’s an older house, so very normal for time period, but would have been helpful to know about the staircases. There is no bathroom on the main level. The bathrooms are in lower level and level 2. Both bathrooms were amazing! We really enjoyed using the basement shower! Spa-like! Host left the sweetest note welcoming us to her home. What a lovely touch. Would not hesitate to stay here again with my family. I may choose somewhere else to stay if my elderly parents and in-laws join us next visit simply because of the stairs. I suppose there is a reason elderly folk enjoy purchasing ranches in retirement. Thanks Felicity!
