About this house rental
Welcome to Hudson Hill Farm! This re-energized 1800s farmhouse spans over 5,000 square feet and is the perfect place to take a break from your busy life. Only 10 minutes from Mt. Sunapee and less than 5 minutes from Sunapee Harbor, it's ideal any time of year for your next ski trip or for your summer plans to rent a boat on Lake Sunapee, or hike to the summit of Mt. Sunapee. The house's huge front and back yards are waiting to host your next event or gathering. Come stay with us and unplug.
Equipped with a 6-burner, 2-oven stove and 2 dining room tables, this house is the perfect place to have everyone close to you sit down for a home-cooked meal.
The great room and upper living room provide enough seating in front of the intimate fieldstone fireplace to wind down your night and enjoy the company of everyone staying with you.
The house is loaded with board games for the kids and a puzzle table that the adults and kids can enjoy together.
The second floor living room provides a quaint sitting area, away from the large great room, where many people can congregate.
The property is set right on a main snowmobiling trail that goes through much of NH and can often be seen from the house.
The house is laid out in a way that makes it comfortable for many guests or 4-6 families.
A couple notes:
-Every room has a fan but there is no AC
-This is an old farmhouse with lots of character
-There are outdoor cameras set up for the security of the property
-The house runs on a well and not town water. You will need to be mindful of water usage but you are not limited. Please conserve where you can.
Hudson Hill Farm gives you a comfortable, warm, relaxing place to rest after a long day of fun in summer and winter.

We loved the location, outdoor fireplace, and overall space. Such a nice home!!

Our group of three families stayed here for an amazing, fabulous long weekend. The house is kid friendly; lots of room to spread out and find a quiet place if needed or be all together. There is a great hill behind the house for sledding with the kids and we had a great time winter stargazing with a cozy fire at the outdoor fire pit. Skiing very close-by too. Everything you need was already there and Evan was very responsive to any questions we had. I would highly recommend to any large group looking for a spot to gather together.

This is a great house for a family reunion -- or large group gathering. It was nice to have some bedrooms on the first floor (for those who might have difficulty with stairs), and two were set up in such a way that they would make great combos for parents with younger kids. Upstairs bedrooms were comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms and showers throughout the house.
The kitchen was very well-equipped and we made good use of the large stove, the pantry, the two refrigerators, and multiple dining (and serving) tables.
The best part of the house was the two-level great room which allowed 17 of us to gather, while also allowing for some breakout space if folks wanted a little separation. Windows and fans kept the temperature very comfortable throughout the long weekend. We spent lots of time out on the patio, which is furnished with enough comfy seating for about 12 people. We had brought some extra soccer chairs which allowed us all to be outside together enjoying
the late summer weather. Nice fireplace which we used one evening. The yard provided a lovely view and ample space for yard games. We would happily return and recommend this house highly.

Had a large group of friends getting together for a long weekend. The house was perfect for relaxing outdoor activities and some lawn games. Perfect for nighttime fires as well. Had a great time, thanks so much for having us!

My family just stayed here and it was absolutely perfect! Amazing property, so much space, and beautiful and comfortable home. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful, spacious home perfect for a large family gathering! Downstairs suite and bedrooms as well as upstairs for anyone with mobility challenges with historic stairs. Very large yard and wooded surroundings with area for kids to play and explore. Property was the cleanest house with the most well stocked kitchen we have ever stayed in many rentals!!! We stayed in July heat wave and room ACs and windows did good job keeping us cool although some windows don't open. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful home and property. Excellent accomodations. House has great character, history, and warmth. Owner was in contact with us from the beginning making sure everything was perfect. Will go again next time in New Hampshire.

This house is absolutely amazing. It was perfect for the gathering of our large family. We all remarked how there were so living many spaces that even with a house full of 14 people, you could find quiet space.
The two refrigerators, two tables and incredible family room made for fun family dinners, plenty of storage for food and beverages and breakfasts, lunch and dinners (adult and kids table). Also, great sleeping arrangements and everyone remarked how comfortable the beds were.
Lastly, Evan was great to work with, there were absolutely no issues with communication and check-in.
We can't wait for another weekend at this incredible house and a family weekend.

Everything, and I mean Everything you could want in a vacation or getaway. The house was beyond our expectations! So much space for privacy if you want it, but lots of cozy gathering places too. The amount of bedrooms for our big family was just right. The outdoor fireplace was a big hit and the indoor fireplace was perfect for just hanging out in the great room. Thank you Hudson Hill Farm! Lots of memories were made this trip.

We spent 5 days at this wonderful sprawling Sunapee house with our 3 children and their families (our age range 1-76). The house is comfortable. Works well for different families as there are essentially 4 different bedroom areas. There is a lot of comfortable seating for hanging out in the evenings. The kitchen is well equipped. The owners were very responsive.
We had a lot of snow during our stay and the small road to the house was regularly and well plowed. I would certainly recommend this house.

Huge house, perfect for multi-family vacations
Very large house with plenty of room for four families with small children. Close to Sunapee and even has a nice large hill for sledding out back. We utilized both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces daily which both put off really good heat.

Friends Ski Weekend
We had the most amazing weekend at the farm in Sunapee. The space was amazing and clean. It was a great home for kids to stay in with space for multiple families. The location was incredible and only 10 minutes to Mt. Sunapee. We highly recommend this home and look forward to staying there again!

Fall getaway
Its an amazing property! Stunning view and very accessible to Vermont and NH.
The house is well maintained and I feel the photos on up here don't do justice to how good the house actually is.

Lovely large house in beautiful grounds
Our group stayed for 3 days and had a super time. Well equipped kitchen, lovely welcoming touches, loads of firewood, very responsive hosts. Overall would strongly recommend the place! The two minor complaints are that the internet wasn’t super reliable (kept losing connection and dropping our work zoom calls), and the vent over the oven wasn’t strong which triggered the fire alarm a couple of times. I am sure this will all be fixed as the hosts were so responsive. Thank you Evan!

My family stayed at Hudson hill for 15 days in July. This former inn has many bedrooms: four on 1st floor (one spacious Q w/adjoining 2 twins and full bath; one Q w/half bath; one with 2 bunk beds) and countless BRs upstairs w/2 (or 3?) shower bathrooms + sitting room w/TV screen. We didn't use all the rooms.
First floor has two dining rooms and three sitting areas + powder room. Games and puzzles. Good internet but TV (streaming only) was missing remote so we didn't use.
Kitchen is peculiar, with minimal work space, but has pots, pans, coffee makers, microwave, toaster oven and plenty of dishes and glasses. Some essential kitchen items were absent -- paring knife, berry strainer, kitchen scissors, etc. Main refrigerator lacks shelves and should be replaced, but 2nd fridge in pantry -- D/W is good and we got used to the professional gas stove. Never used the Weber grill outdoors. No recycling so we accumulated a lot of trash in bags that we lugged to the dumpster -- not collected while we were there.
Good laundry machines, but no clothes line for beach towels. All beds were made up (too many accent pillows) with towel & bath samples on each. No extra bed/bath linens apparent so we had to wash sometimes.
Weather was cool for easy sleeping although many windows don't open and/or lack screens. Fans helped. Outdoor seating area had chairs but no table or umbrella for hot sun. Lovely grounds with huge lawns kids loved for ball games. Wild turkeys appeared often from the woods up hill. We got the sense that this property is most often used in winter so perhaps not set up well for summer visitors.
Our 3-generation group of 9 had three cars so we could drive distances as needed to grocery, restaurants, Goodhue boat rental, swimming at State Beach, chairlift and fun activities at Mt Sunapee, and hiking trails. Sunapee Lake is lovely with attractive homes all around. We frequented Sunapee Harbor village for quick food, a few cute stores, informative museum. Great ice cream at Sanctuary, not too far away, is wonderful!

This is the perfect place to relax and get away from busy everyday life. The fire pit and property are amazing. The house is also located 2 miles from Sunapee Harbor. Thank you for everything we had a great time.
