About this house rental

Welcome to The Mushroom House. Located at the end of a private road, the house is less than 4 miles from Manchester's outlet shopping, gorgeous hiking and unmatched dining. Our property features an open floor plan main floor with a kitchen, dining and living area that neighbors the master bedroom and bath. The back deck is a accented with string lights, a grill and comfortable outdoor furniture. Down stairs has two guest rooms with queens beds, a full bathroom and a den with full futon and tv.

The space
The mushroom house is on a 1.5 acre piece of property with a large Adirondack bonfire pit and creek side hammock accessed by a custom cut trail through the woods. This house is great during any month and is suitable for families, reunions or people looking to get way for the weekend.

The Mushroom House was everything we needed for an extended ski weekend. It was private while still being close to everything (skiing, restaurants, food store, shopping). Plenty of room in the house for 3 adults and a teenager. We could easily all hang out together or find our own space. The house is the perfect ski lodge. Not all in our group are skiers and the house and setting were great for just relaxing all day while the others skied. We even got an ‘extension’ of space and fun with access to The Bromley View Inn. Austin was also beyond accommodating and responded immediately to any questions. We are already booked for our next stay!

Loved this rental. House looks a little dated but was immaculately clean (and I’m a clean freak). Kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. Fireplace was glorious. The only thing I would have wanted/needed if we were to have stayed longer was a washer/dryer. Tough to do a long ski trip without that. But a perfect weekend getaway, 24 minutes to the base of Stratton. Would definitely rent again!!!

We loved The Mushroom House! It's in a fabulous location, only 5 minutes from the center of Manchester. The house was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. The downstairs shower is a bit tricky in terms of getting a consistent water temperature (we all ended up using the upstairs shower). Other than that minor issue though, everything was wonderful. The fire pit is secluded and relaxing, and the path to the stream/hammock would be a fun surprise for kids. We definitely recommend a stay here!

This was a small but perfect house in an ideal location--remote yet a quick drive into Manchester. It is a cozy house, and the firepit in the back yard was great.

GREAT WEEKEND

So, the entire weekend was great, the outside fire pit was so fun. Location was really great, close to everything, but yet set in the woods, and the walk to the river.....really cool! We spent some much needed quality family time and had some rest and relaxation! It would have been perfect, if only the weather cooperated, but even being shut in was fun!

We loved staying at the Mushroom House. Our favorite thing was using the firepit outside and fireplace inside. Very cozy and nice after a day of skiing.

Amazing, warm, cozy atmosphere and a great place!

The house has all You need for a quality time with friends! Great location, all amnesties you might need, an amazing fireplace, better than any house we ever stayed before! I am sure summer time has to offer so much more to this place, but winter it so unique in itself! Obviously very convenient location for ski lovers! We stayed for a four nights at this amazing house and the time passed by so quickly that we want to be back soon! Thanks to the host, it made it all feel so much easier and comfortable!
