Super cozy and charismatic property. Beautiful riverside set up. Easy access, smooth process, clean & comfortable! "Quiet time" is much earlier than most places and the walls are pretty thin. It was advised at check in that there was need for care on sound, but it was more than expected. Our neighbors could hear us talking when we thought we were speaking in our room low enough, and we could hear someone snoring throughout the night from an adjacent room both nights. Sharing this not as major detriment to the stay, but something for consideration.

This property was exactly as described. The setting is beautiful-couldn’t ask for anything more peaceful. Especially the stream outside the apartment with plenty of seating options. We spent so much time outside-on the porch, sitting next to the running river or even in the river. As mentioned the walls were thin and you could hear other guests. The kitchen is small but well appointed. My favorite part was getting to know Wendy!! She was such a gracious hostess-quick to respond and so helpful with ideas and suggestions! I spent 2 weeks in this slice of heaven and I hope to return again soon!!

We were absolutely thrilled with the location of the property as it is conveniently located right by the national park and numerous other attractions. The property itself was really beautiful and well-maintained. Having a little deli and pub on site was incredibly convenient. Check in process was very simple and everything was exactly as expected.

The property and check in and out process was great. The cleanliness of the window treatment needs much attention. That is why i gave 3 stars on cleanliness. There needs to be more toilet paper left in the cabin. The fire pit does not emit heat. It is a solostove. Other than that, it was a great stay. Thank you soo much.

We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful property right on the river in Townsend. It was a great location for entrance into the park. The building is historic but renovated nicely and plenty comfortable. If you are a light sleeper I recommend a white noise app because the noise does carry between rooms. We were so happy to stay here on the peaceful side of the Smokies and not in the busy/crazy towns!

The property is located in a beautiful location right on the Little River. The cabin was charming and in excellent condition. The property manager was prompt to respond and very kind. We had no issues at all during our stay. I would definitely go back if I am ever in the area again!

Breathtaking property on the edge of the little pigeon River. Room was immaculate and clean. Hottest shower I've ever experienced! Host (Wendy) is very nice and attentive. Highly recommended.

The area and location is beautiful! Wendy was super nice and helpful. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is because me and my mom barely got sleep, we were in a room downstairs and heard the people above us all night long- walking around and talking, amongst other things.

The cabin was beautiful with everything I could possibly need in it. Loved the location by the River - it was wonderful cooling my legs off in it after my race.

This was my family's second time staying at this property. We enjoy being able to get right into the water and play. There's lots of areas to sit outside and relax. Everything you need for your vacation. Just bring your food.

Lovely log cabin very close to the Little River. We could sit on the porch and watch the herons. unfortunately it was cold during our visit so we couldn't spend as much time on the porch. Loved the little library on the porch and exchanged a book I had finished on our trip. I loved the quietness of the area. So glad we didn't stay in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.

Great place to stay away from distractions like TV and all the touristy areas like Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The sound of the river was very soothing and we even saw herons two days. The kitchette was adequate to fix breakfast each morning and we cooked simple dinnners two nights. The refrigerator is small so you can’t buy groceries for a week. Wendy talked us through checkin and could adjust the temperature remotely

Lindsey checked us in as Wendy was away on a family emergency. She made sure we had everything we needed including a drip coffee maker instead of a Keurig as we brought our own fresh ground coffee. And to add to it there were fresh cut flowers in the kitchen area and on the outdoor patio table outside our door. Loved that!
We did enjoy our stay along the river drinking our coffee and eating some meals on the patio table. On the beautiful sunny days, we sat out along the river and read. They have a book exchange box on the porch as well! Also had some entertainment as a lady played her banjo while we were relaxing after a day of driving the parkway.
We did lots of hiking as well in the Smoky's. So was nice to come back to room for a nice hot shower! Great water pressure!
As others have stated, the walls are thin. Even though the listing says no children, there was a family with children above us. We could even hear the dad tell his son to be quiet as we were below them. lol But all in all peaceful except right before bedtime.

We drove to the Strawberry Patch Inn after work not expecting much more than a play to sleep before the wedding the next day and to our surprise, we found a nice, clean, quite and relaxing spot that we certainly would recommend to anyone!

The location was great…close to amenities and the entrance to the national park. Plenty of places to eat in Townsend, plus a grocery store. The apartment is part of an old cabin from the 1800’s, which was great but it was really easy to hear the people in the apartment above us. We were lucky they were on the quiet side. The creek side location made it feel quite peaceful even though it is located right off a 4 lane road.

Good location, clean, easy check in. Nice primitive decor with all necessary amenities. Keep in mind, rooms are not sound proof, but this didn’t bother us. It was a quiet, peaceful stay right on the water. The water pressure and longevity of hot water was fantastic! The only thing I would recommend is to have a throw blanket in the rooms as they are not individually heated and we got a bit chilly in the early evening. Temperature was good most of the time, but it would offer another personal touch. Looked like a nice common area outside, but it was cooler weather, so we didn’t get to take advantage of that area. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the Strawberry Patch. Wendy met us in the parking lot upon our arrival, showed us to our room and gave us pertinent information about the facility and the area. It is very conveniently located to nearby attractions. And the bed was very comfortable and that means a lot to us!!! Would definitely return.

Loves this spot. It was cozy and peaceful. Very close to the Smokey Mtns, but a scenic 45 minute drive from either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinsburg. The description was accurate and check-in process was simple. I will definitely be staying here again when I get back to the visit the area.

Log cabin on the Little River
We rode in the Smokies, saw 3 black bear cubs. Enjoyed thrift stores & good restaurants. The best part was sitting in the river (it was low while we were there) sitting on our deck listening & watching the river.
Our rental was clean & comfortable and had everything we needed.

We had a nice time, loved the outdoors, the water flowing by was a great way to start the morning with a cup of coffee. As this was the first VRBO booking I had done I would have appreciated contact from the host earlier than when I pulled in the lot but after we got there it was smooth sailing.

Peaceful side of the smokies
This is an excellent location for those who want a quiet version of the Smokies. Great outdoor facilities on the river here and handy to the park but also into Maryville if you need something more specific.
The lodging is clean, comfortable and well appointed. It is exactly as described as a place for being calm and quiet- a beautiful cabin but thereby little sound proofing and therefore no tv. Which was fine by us.

Cabin on the river (sort-of)
This was not what I expected. I expected a log cabin on the river, but instead it was a log cabin apartment. There were people above us and there is no way to sleep if people are walking around upstairs. There was also people beside us and both above and beside us , voices can be heard through the walls. The price turned out to be much much higher than was advertised due to multiple fees. There was Damage protection, cleaning fee, service fee, taxes and "additional charges". So the price we ended up paying was almost double what was advertised. The location was convenient, but right off the highway. You do not have control of the thermostat, you have to text the owner to have the temperature changed remotely. Some people may find this kind of arrangement just fine, but I would not stay there again, unless I was guaranteed upstairs and on the end unit.

This is a lovely property situated on the banks of the Little River. We wanted tp "getaway from it all" - and this was the perfect spot. Quiet, walkable to a number of restaurants/pubs. We enjoyed it all! Thank you!
