About this house rental
Vacation Rental in the basement suite of our principal residence. We are NOT affected by BC’s new vacation rental restrictions.
3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom basement suite w/ shared pool & trampoline & basketball stand. Our pool will be open May 15 - Sept 30. The pool isn’t heated, water temperature is subject to seasonal weather.
WARNING: We live on a busy street, there is alot of loud traffic and construction vehicles, you will hear traffic noises.
Please no partiers! This is a family friendly rental with children living in the upstairs suite. No pets/animals allowed in home or on the premises - no exceptions. You will be made to vacate if either of these two rules are broken.
Our suite sleeps 6 people comfortably, with 3 bedrooms and three queen beds. There are three TV’s in the suite, but NO CABLE television. Our TV’s have an Amazon firestick with access to our shared Netflix & Amazon Prime & Disney + & Sportsnet accounts for your use.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. We have a coffee maker and a Keurig for quick and easy drinks! We have supplied the kitchen with every cooking accessory you would ever need.
In one of the side yards… we have a inground 12 x 28 salt water pool. The pool is great for kids as the shallow end is 3 feet and the deep end is 5.5 feet. In the other fenced side yard, we have a spring free trampoline. Please note that all outdoor space is shared with us, the owners that live on site and any guests we are entertaining. We are located on a busy trafficked street, please be aware you will hear traffic while sitting on the outdoor patio, in the front and side yards. 9:00AM – 9:00PM pool and front yard patio hours as we would like to be respectful to all, including our neighbors. Please no partiers - this is a family friendly rental.
The half bathroom is in the utility room along with a washer, dryer, gas furnace, hot water tank.
We live above in the above suite. You will hear footsteps and squeaky floors above you. The suite has a sound and fire barrier between the floors, but you will hear the normal noises of a busy household and working family. We have a 15 year old girl and 11 year old boy that go to school Monday to Friday and we are out the door at 8:15 AM. We will be as quiet and respectful as possible, but please be aware you will hear us at any hour of the day. Because of this, we have priced this suite accordingly.
There is a Wyze camera outside overlooking the road/parking spot and a doorbell camera at the main door.

We stayed here 2 years ago and came back for the last Ironman in Penticton. The whole family with teens ranging from 11 to 19 really enjoyed our stay. The house is perfect with lots of room for everyone. Despite being a bit unlucky with the temperature, we were able to enjoy the pool every single day. The communication with the owners is super easy make sure we have everything we need

As a family of 6 we really appreciated the use of the driveway just steps from our private entrance to unload all our belongings. Amy and Brian were super friendly and very responsive with all messages. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Penticton, including beach toys, pool towels and a fully stocked kitchen. The kids enjoyed the spring free trampoline and pool. We would definitely stay here again and have already shared the listing wjth friends.

We enjoyed another wonderful stay in Penticton at Amy and Brian’s, or “the Pool House”, as my kids refer to it. We have been coming for years and feel like we are returning home when we arrive. The suite is spacious, very clean, and stocked with everything you might need for a vacation (towels, board games, and a fully stocked kitchen!). Our kids (7, 9, and 10) LOVE the swimming pool! It’s the perfect size for their swimming levels and they spent hours each day playing. Thanks again for a wonderful stay! Amy and Brian are the absolute best hosts.

We had an exceptional stay. Easy to park. Nice and cool out of the hot sun. Nice pool for chilling out in the evenings. Excellent and spacious living space, very modern with thoughtful touches. Stuff for little kids, games for friends. Amy and Brian were friendly and helpful and also gave us our space. Really ideal place. Quick to access all of penticton.

Loved our stay, it was perfect for our big family of 6. The kids weren’t entertained and I was able to work remotely during our stay. Would definitely recommend and book again.

The driveway accommodates 2 vehicles and provides very easy access to the suite. Living room, kitchen and dining are all very spacious and kitchen is well equipped. There are dishes to use at poolside along with a BBQ. There are 3 large bedrooms with a queen size bed in each one. There are pool towels. There are 1 and a half bathrooms with a washer and dryer in the half bathroom.all the toys, pool and trampoline are usable by guests. We have 3 young teen grandchildren with us and they want to come back as well. We would highly recommend this suite for anyone who likes a roomy and light filled place to stay.
In addition it's about midway between downtown, both lake beaches and shopping areas. All in all a perfect location.
We certainly enjoyed our stay here and are planning on going back next year for a longer vacation.

We had a wonderful stay here with our family. Amy and Brian were amazing and accommodating hosts. We loved the place was stocked with everything and loved all the games,the pool, and how it was our home away from home. We felt very welcome and safe. We would recommend this place!

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. Amy and Brian were super communicators and very accommodating. The pool and trampoline were loved by the kids. The house was very well-stocked. There even were toys and books for kids. Beds were super comfortable. Suite was laid out in a way that allowed parental activities in the kitchen and living area to not wake the kids during naps and at night. Overall a very good place and would for sure go back!

Amy and Brian were amazing hosts, their communication, and the property was absolutely perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. This 3 bedroom accommodated our family of 6 with lots of room to spare. The decor was like a showroom with a family touch. Lots of light, airconditioned, pool, yard, games, trampoline, BBQ area, easy drive to both lakes. Amy and Brian thought of everything for their guests, wish all hosts would do this. We will stay here again. Thank you!

From start to finish we were so happy with our experience. First of all everything was modern and very very clean, but what we really appreciated were all the little touches such as a nice bottle of wine to welcome us to our vacation to all the little extras that they include in your stay. They really thought of everything. The pool was beautiful and so clean. We appreciated that there is a full family living upstairs but not once did we hear them or see them when we were using any of the facilities this family offered. I can’t say enough how much we loved this vacation home. Brian and Amy were so warm and welcoming. We all can’t wait to stay here again and just might make it a yearly vacation place.

This was year two of staying at Any and Brian’s. Our kids look forward all year to swimming in the pool and the adults look forward to the easiest and most comfortable VRBO experience ever. Any and Brian have literally thought of everything! Beach toys and gear, a fully stocked kitchen, games and toys for the kids, etc. We appreciate the clean, open concept living, the beautiful pool that is perfect for our little ones (and adult supervisors), the AC, and the thoughtful touches and check ins from our hosts. Thanks for another great stay!!

Exceptional VRBO
This property is wonderful! The listing and photos are very accurate. The owners, and a bottle of wine greeted us on arrival which was a nice surprise. The suite was bright, spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and everything was tidy and worked well. The owners even had extra supplies you don't usual receive with a rental which was nice. You can tell they care and take pride in their property. Pool was warm and the kids really enjoyed it. I grew up in Penticton so was familiar with this neighbourhood. It is up the hill a little, but nothing is more than 5 min away and central to both ends of town. We walked down to the school one day, which is worth it if you have kids to check out the park. The owners mentioned traffic and possible noise from upstairs. Neither of which were found to be bothersome to us. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others. Thank you for a great stay!

Amy and Brian were wonderful and the property was exactly as described. Clean, modern and exactly as described. We really appreciated the hosts going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, including very thoughtful touches. We’ve stayed in many different places and this was by far the most stocked places we’ve seen. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Perfect Family Stay
This provided the perfect stay for our young family. The trampoline and pool were a big hit. The suite was beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need to enjoy Penticton. Amy and Brian were great hosts always available and offering to make sure you had everything you need for your stay. Our son still asks when he can go back to stay here.

Perfect Penticton property
We stayed in this basement suite for 2 weeks while my son was attending hockey camp. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it all. Amy and Brian were so helpful and welcoming. The whole space was super clean from top to bottom. The kitchen was stocked up with everything you could ever need. As was the bathroom and laundry room. The outdoor spaces were also all clean and beautiful. Pool was perfect. Location was great, not too far from anything but not too close that it was noisy. We will definitely return if we get the chance and highly recommend to everybody we know.

House was great with lots of space and stocked with all the kitchen supplies you need. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the home. Owners are easy to talk to and very helpful.

Best VRBO stay yet!!
Amy and Brian were the BEST hosts. They have thought of everything in this beautiful suite. The suite was clean, fresh, air conditioned and tastefully decorated. It felt brand new! Bedrooms were spacious and bright and beds were very comfortable. The living room and kitchen had everything we needed for our stay from toys and games for the kids to kitchen supplies to cover our every need. The outdoor spaces were so great as well. We imagined we’d spend more time at the beach this trip, but the pool was so perfect for our young family (4,6,7) to spend an afternoon. The pool’s shallow end was perfect for the kids to play without life jackets. The location was close to town but far enough up the hill to feel private and safe. This was the perfect spot for a quiet and fun filled family vacation. We will for sure be back!!

Perfect Vacation Spot
This very spacious 3 bedroom property was perfect for our family vacation. It was immaculate and even provided an outdoor space for a BBQ. It was also very nice to have a swimming pool. The washer and dryer was also very helpful. The owners Amy and Brian were very friendly and helped provide us with information about the area. We will definately be back.

Great family getaway
We needed a place for our family of 4 adults to be together safely - our expectations were exceeded at Amy and Brian’s home. The suite was bright and clean, with everything we needed at our fingertips. Would definitely book again!
