Welcome to the Country Nest, the ideal vacation home from which to enjoy all that Lancaster County, Pennsylvania has to offer, including nearby Bird-in-Hand, Strasburg, New Holland, Sight and Sound, the Outlets, Dutch Wonderland, Spooky Nook Sports, downtown Lancaster and more! Set in the idyllic town of Intercourse, this warm, spacious vacation rental has plenty of room for large groups and families. Find the freedom and space you need to make your get-away a great one.
You'll find all the comforts of home at the Country Nest! The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking a meal for the whole family. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. There is a sitting room right inside the door, as well as a large living room to fit the whole group, equipped with a large TV (Netflix included )Games and puzzles are provided for a relaxing night in. The front porch is a great place to relax with a cup of joe and watch horse-and-buggies trot by. The small, private backyard allows space for outside activities, fire pit and charcoal grill available for use.

The Country Nest is a beautiful home with very cozy furnishing and inviting decor. The bedrooms were spacious and the living room and dining area had the perfect amount of seating for my family of 6 to enjoy and build memories together. I loved the upstairs walk-in shower with the big glass door! Also the host was just super thoughtful in general and left a lot of super helpful local info for us. Plus the process for checking in and checking out couldn't have been simpler! Really a great example of the perfect way to run a rental house.

Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Other necessities provided like toilet tissue and dish soap. There were four of us, all mature women, and all agreed that the beds were very comfortable. It was a great place, and would be very glad to stay there again.

We do a 3 generation family vacation every year. This property was perfect for 3 families so every one had there own rooms and family room and kitchen area large enough for all of us to sit eat and relax together. The grand kids ages 5 and 4 loved watching the horse and buggies go by each day as well as us adults. The location is perfect for all the attractions we wanted to do. The yard was great for kids to play in after our outings while dinner was being cooked. The fire put was fun to use for smores. The hostess has done a great deal to make sure you have every thing you could possibly need. She is also very response to questions. I highly recommend this hostess and house wonder vacation.

"The Nest" was a perfect place for our family to stay. We felt close to everything we wanted to do. We had plenty of room and never felt crowded. The host did a great job stocking the place with all you need for preparing great meals. The yard was nice and the only drawback was the traffic on the road at all hours of the day. We had no problem with it though. The place was super clean. The firepit outback would be perfect on a cool fall night. We did not get a chance to use that area as it was very hot out,I would surely stay here again.

Our bowling team was in PA for a national high school bowling tournament. Our VRBO, was perfect for our needs. It was clean, comfortable, and located in a safe little town. Our host went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout our stay. The fire pit in the back yard was perfect for a night of s’mores, chasing fireflies, and laughing: I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely VRBO in Intercourse, PA.

We enjoyed our stay here. There was 6 of us and there was plenty of room and a very nice place to stay. There were many places close by that you can walk to. We will stay here again on our next visit.

Perfect house for our group of 7 friends attending the LPGA US Open golf. Large open kitchen, with everything we needed, great table for everyone to gather around, plenty of beds, 3 full bathrooms, & plenty of seating in the living room for us to relax & catch up on our day. Juana was a wonderful host, so nice & quick to answer any questions. The extras she arranged, from the fresh eggs to setting up a wonderful meal hosted by a lovely Amish family was an added bonus. Location was good for getting around & exploring & a beautiful neighborhood to walk around.
We would definitely stay here again.

We came up to the area for a variety of activities- Sight and Sound show, outlet shopping, and fabric shopping at the quilt shops. This house is in our favorite area, and just far enough off Rt 340 to mitigate some of the road noise at night. The house itself has been thoughtfully furnished and was very clean (and I’m very picky about that). There was plenty of room for us to gather in the living room but also enough bedrooms to have our own spaces. We would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area next.

This is the perfect gathering place for our group of friends! The Nest is decorated beautifully but not overdone! It is well-stocked in the kitchen and baths. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Enjoyed the outdoor spaces as we were blessed with beautiful weather. Cannot wait to visit this exceptional home again!

Enjoyed our stay at Country Nest. The house was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and the host Juana was very responsive. The house is close to Dutch Wonderland and Strasberg railroad. Also minutes from Kitchen Kettle Village though we drove rather than walked because it’s located on a very busy road. We enjoyed seeing the multiple horse and buggies passing by the kitchen window!

My daughter & I (originally from Lancaster Co) were hosting 4 of our Bible study friends from FL for a week. This place met all of our needs perfectly!!!
Attention to detail from kitchen appliances, dishes, etc to towels in baskets in each bedroom & bathroom, to plenty of seating around the dining table AND in the living room, to a very thoughtfully equipped coffee station, to plenty of beds & bathrooms, to comfortable front porch furniture & fire pit chairs and so much more!!!!
We added a new jigsaw puzzle to the already well-stocked game shelves, & we enjoyed the large tv that we were grateful had all the networks & connections we could possibly need.
Much thought has obviously been put into decorating & equipping this place, & everything was in great condition.
Absolutely the BEST place we've ever rented!! And it got a unanimous thumbs-up from all 6 of the seasoned travelers in our group.

My daughter's volleyball team had a tournament at Spooky Nook, we rented this house for a mother-daughter weekend. There were 7 of us, we had such a great time. The house was perfect!!

We had a great stay at the Country Nest! The house was very clean, comfortable, stocked with everything we needed, and cutely decorated! The owner was great- responding to a minor issue promptly! The location was perfect for our visit to the Amish country, including our visit to the Sight and Sound theater (which I HIGHLY recommend) and for our side trips to Hershey, Gettysburg and Philadelphia. If you are planning a visit to the Lancaster area, I highly recommend this rental!

Ran out of paper towels and toilet paper while there. We went to the store and bought the items ourselves. Never met the host and never got any fresh eggs either.

Sadly we were there for a funeral , but the house was perfect. Nice yard, big rooms and I was in love with the decor. Don’t pass this house up if you’re traveling or on vacation!

We had an amazing stay! The house was easy to find and close to Kitchen Kettle Village, Immergut Pretzels, and many other little shops. The house was supplied with everything we needed. We will be back next year!

We had a wonderful time in the area and this house was the perfect place to stay. We had 5 adults, a teenager and our dog; with ages ranging from 17-82; there was plenty of space to meet all of our needs. This house is conveniently located and the owner, Juana, was very responsive and accommodating. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely use the "Country Nest" again!

It was very nice. Lots of ammendaties. Hand soap at each sink, everyone got a towel and washcloth and a little cake of soap. Sheets were very nice. The place was perfect for 7 ladies we each had our own bed.
We do have one suggestion and that is the downstairs bathroom tub need grab bars. Its very hard to get out without them.

My husband I took our kids their spouses and kids for get away. House was very clean but it is gray not white as shown on image. Needed a few more garbage bags and towels with how many of us as there were. I would highly recommend this place and would use it again.

Very well decorated and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook. There were 7 of us there and we were very pleased with the seating spaces. We had dinner with an Amish family and that was so special!! Thank you for everything and we hope to stay there again.

The Nest was a big, cozy house for all of us to spread out, be comfortable yet come together at the long dining room table. We put several extra leaves in it!
We could walk to Kitchen Kettle Village and easily drive to Millers Smorgasbord and Sight and Sound Theater. We were blessed with beautiful weather all weekend too!

Our group spent one night to attend the Sight & Sound show and chose The Nest to have our down time. It was nicely appointed and was charming with its bird/nest theme throughout. It was spacious allowing us to relax in different rooms (and outside) and all together without feeling cramped. The location allowed easy access to some nearby shops (possibly walking distance if you are interested in a stroll!)

We Loved The Country Nest! It couldn’t have been more centrally located for a visit to Amish Country. The house is nicely appointed and having bedrooms on the first floor made the stay easier for those who can’t do stairs. We arrived on a Sunday and lucked out with a gorgeous day.
We all sat on the front porch to visit and we’re amazed and delighted seeing so many buggies driving by in all 4 directions.You’ll want to take pictures but read up on proper etiquette so as not to be an offensive tourist.
Shops and restaurants were only 5 minutes away and other attractions were close too.
The bedrooms were nice and comfortable, beautiful long table in the kitchen and a lovely living room.
We would highly recommend The Nest for anyone visiting the area. We even hit up the Outlet stores which were only 15 min. away. Many local restaurants were closed on Monday but again there were several restaurants on the road going to the outlet stores. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay at The Nest

We love staying at this property. It is close to everywhere and there is so much room. We loved taking advantage of cooking on the grill and gathering around the large kitchen space. Thank you for another beautiful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Country Nest. It was in a great location and the house was very nice, clean and met all our needs. Went to Sights and Sounds on Friday afternoon to see the production Moses and then Saturday to Dutch Wonderland (which the granddaughters loved). Enjoyed Friday night around the fire pit. Mornings on porch with cup of coffee watching the Amish buggies go by. The accommodations were everything as stated in the description. We will definately stay at Country Nest again when we come back to Lancaster.

Owner is very responsive and kind. Home is as described with a lot of special touches. Clean, well stocked. Welcome gifts. Fire pit is great. Family, ages 19-83 from across the US enjoyed our stay! Location is convenient to walk to many restaurants and Kitchen Kettle village that has over 30 shops!! Lots to do in the area. Amish dinner through owner is a must! Eggs from eggs were nice touch. Great experience. Would stay again!!
