You will have access to the entire cabin.

Contact-free check in. Two days prior to check in, you will receive your door code. Once you get to the area, you can go straight to the cabin and unwind. No need to pick up a key.

I will be available at all usual business hours while guests are in the cabin and if something needs attention, I will do my best to get it fixed as quickly as possible!

The cabin is located on well-maintained, paved roads. It is usually no problem accessing the cabin using a 2WD vehicle, including in winter. If you are visiting in winter, however, check the weather report just in case. The whole area is fairly hilly, although there are no major hills to climb to get to the cabin. A safe and wooded cul-de-sac makes Alexander Place a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the nearby parkway.

The cabin is on a regular, monthly pest control schedule, but sometimes unwanted bugs may venture inside. Pigeon Forge is home to stink bugs, Asian beetles, and wood roaches, which view open windows and doors as an invitation, especially at the changing of the season. I recommend keeping windows and doors closed when not in use.

For being so close to the Parkway, it is secluded and quiet and feels a world away from the action.

Be aware that parking is somewhat limited. The driveway has room for up to three vehicles. Street parking is okay for any vehicles that won't fit in the driveway.

Full disclosure: the kitchen is on the small side. This may be a problem if you are planning to cook three meals a day there, but otherwise it should have everything you need.

Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is at 10:00. These times are fixed. The cleaners keep a very tight schedule and make their plans around this six hour window. Out of respect to them, I cannot make exceptions to these times.

Please also note that as a small business, I am not able to grant last-minute refunds, so I highly recommend protecting your investment with travel insurance.

So why book this property?

Location. Very close to the best that Pigeon Forge has to offer, including Dollywood, the Island, dinner theaters, etc. while preserving a sense of calm and tranquility. It is also not far from Gatlinburg, Wears Valley, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Layout. Four master suites with full bathrooms to maximize guest privacy. Easy-to-access upper level. Comfortable, open living area with high ceilings.

It was very nice. The four bedrooms and four baths was amazing. The shower head needed attention in the master bedroom. There were a few things that could have been better but all in all it was a great time with our siblings and their spouses.

My husband, two kids and I had a very nice stay! The location of the home is back in a nice neighborhood, while still being extremely close to The Island of Pigeon Forge. Only 15 minutes max to Dollywood! Plenty of places to get food, go explore and hike, or play Putt Putt. Our only thing was some minor cleanliness issues that I spoke with the owner about she was wonderful at hearing me and very quick to respond. The hot tub was really nice and the rooms are all spacious with their own full bathrooms! Would recommend to any family!

My family spent three nights in this cabin and were very happy with the large bedrooms and big comfy beds. The jacuzzi tubs were so relaxing and the hot tub was very welcoming at the end of each day. The location of the cabin is awesome, so close to so many attractions and great places to visit. We went to The Island and ate breakfast at Paula Deen's Family Kitchen. It was so delicious and satisfying...highly recommend! We sampled the Tennessee Bootlegger's wine & Ole Smoky moonshine (we bought some to take home too). We cooked yummy dinners on the gas grill. Our host saved the day and sent a fresh tank of propane our way. Thanks Dolly! We watched movies, laughed, and enjoyed our family time together. Our host went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable and was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We highly recommend this host and this property. We hope to return and continue our adventures at a later date.

This property was great for a spontaneous family trip to the Smokey Mountains! The owner was very accommodating and responsive to any questions that we had - and very nice! The neighborhood felt safe and we weren’t concerned about anything regarding vehicles, etc. The parking was able to accommodate our 3 vehicles (large truck + 2 SUVs) without having to park on the street.
