We were looking for a place right on the beach to take our three kids and we were tight on a budget. This was perfect. Great view of the pool, private boardwalk to beach. The closets were stocked with beach chairs and beach toys. Plenty of towels. 10m drive to St. Augustine. The communication from the host was superb. We’d book this again in a heartbeat.

Condo is spacious, well furnished. Grounds are very nice. Building is older and we did encounter some maintenance issues in condo and the pool was closed for several days. We’d book it again just for the beach.

The condo was very nice and clean. Has everything you need. Building is well keep and you’re very close to pool and ocean. Only complaint is that sofa and loveseat are very close to floor and you sink very low to the floor in the cushions! My husband and I are in good shape and couldn’t get out of them! We had to bring chairs in from the deck to sit in all week. We would love to rent your condo again. Please consider some new furniture!

We are here for our 3rd year and have booked Grandma's Rest for next year. We love watching the sun come up and hearing the Ocean day and night. The complex is friendly with many repeats year to year. And the location is prime!

This was our third trip to Florida to visit our son. We have stayed in other places, but we all agreed that this place was our favorite. The location was AWESOME !!!! The condo itself isn’t fancy, BUT, it was clean and nicely decorated. AND had pretty much everything you might need. Since there was a grill on-site, we grilled out several nights, which was especially nice. The weather was so beautiful and we spent a lot of time at the pool and at the beach. We are already looking forward to next year !!! Thank you !

Crescent Beach is a wonderful old Florida beach that is most popular on the 4th of July. The condo is mostly rentals with a handful of helpful owners onsite. Parking can be scarce on popular holidays but manageable. This is a family friendly property with a central pool and lots of happy guests.

Unit was clean and communication with host was excellent . I would not stay here again until they confirmed new linens were on property. Cheap , stained sheets were not great. They were super clean, but the cheapest micro fiber sheets you could find with fabric softener stains. I know that’s a small detail, but …. A super important one. Also their was roof construction, external doors were jammed most of the stay and elderly people down the way complained of noise during our dinner at 8pm. The host were excellent, the pool was nice and the view was good, but the cost benefit here was not there.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described. Close to Marineland, shopping and downtown St. Augustine. The pool was wonderful and very clean as well as the the ground! The boardwalk was a short distance to the beach which made it easy to tote kids things and chairs to and from. Thank you for a wonderful time!

My husband and I stayed in this fabulous condo for 2 weeks in November. We loved everything about it and felt totally spoiled. We have stayed in crescent Beach many times and this is our absolute favorite condo. Clean, everything you could possibly need, lots of space, wonderful balcony just like in the pics, fantastic communication with the property manager, wonderful amenities on the property and anyone we met who lives/works there was super friendly. We loved this condo.

We could not have wished for a more peaceful, relaxing 3 weeks beside the ocean. Everything was perfect, accept the living room couches were very close to the ground and hard to get out of. That was our only complaint. All the beach chairs and umbrellas you will need.

Home away from home

We love staying at Crescent Beach and this is our second time staying at Ocean House. The condo has everything you could need, except a Keurig (so go to the Kookaburra coffee shop and buy some fresh grounds on your way in, you won't regret it). Pool/beach toys and beach chairs galore, very thankful I didn't have to go purchase more to leave behind. Thank you for the accomodations, we will be back!

Grandma’s East was everything as advertised: right in the beach, sugar white sand, large balcony facing the ocean and pool and situated in an quiet area close to St. Augustine. Plenty to do in town but nice to be away from it all, yet Crescent Beach has lots of restaurants and amenities. Really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful 2 week vacation in this unit! The location is amazing as you are right on the ocean. The expansive deck was a wonderful place to kick back and enjoy the view. The pool area is very well kept up as is the grounds and building. The beds were comfortable and the unit has everything you need. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Grandma's Rest East is in a fantastic location with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful wide beaches to walk/run/drive on. The condo is simply wonderful. Clean, bright, quiet, bigger than a lot of rentals we've stayed in and has everything needed for a great stay. We totally enjoyed the condo and our time spent there.

There is no fitness facility available, but great beach access for walks, pool is unseated but cleaned daily, coin laundry room located on each floor. Manager was less than helpful, often preoccupied on her phone. Referring everything to our rental company. Other residents were very helpful.

We live in the area and had family come in for the holidays and needed a place for them to stay. Grandmas Rest East worked out well for us. Though the exterior building is on the older side, we were very pleased with the cleanliness and size of this unit. Both the air was clean (important for those with asthma) and the furnishing were clear. The large balcony extended from the bedroom to the living room. The unit was pleasantly quiet and we received positive feedback from family members who stayed there that they appreciated the ease of walking out on the beach - a peaceful respite that provided a nice contrast to the sometimes hectic and crowded atmosphere at our house when we all gathered. The iTrip staff were easy to work with. Once during the stay I sent a text message to iTrip when a lightbulb burned out and got a quick response. The condo requires parking permits and they had some blank ones in the guide book in the unit. The property office was available during limited hours (9-1) on weekdays to provide parking passes and they recorded the make and model of vehicle so they don't accidentally tow you.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this condo. Access to the pool and beach was very convenient. The only suggestion we would have is a heated pool. The complex was nice and clean. Stores were closely located to the complex.

The VRBO reservation will be switched to iTrip vacations and communication is sketchy at best. We reported to the VRBO owner and to the iTrip manager that the valves below the Kitchen sink leaked and water ran all over the kitchen on the 1st full day of our reservation. We never heard from the VRBO owner. iTrip contacted us and told us a plumber would be out to fix it. iTrip came out to look at it on the 3rd day but never sent a plumber and it was not fixed the entire week and we left.

We have come to this complex since the 90’s. Always love it here. However the building and grounds definitely need attention. Mold on the building, around the pool. The grass was yellow in places and for the first time I saw people drinking alcohol in the pool. Disappointed.

This was our first time booking through itrip vacations and staying at Grandma's Rest East although we have stayed in different units at the condo complex for the last 13 years with our family. The condo itself was very nice and provided everything we needed for our stay. The view of the ocean from the patio was beautiful. However we will not be booking through itrip vacations again. I do not appreciate being texted 3.5 hours into my vacation to be scolded about "my children" running through hallways and making noise. My 3 children are ages 12 and 13 and were in fact not running through the hallways or creating too much noise. This ridiculous text completely ruined the mood of the start of the vacation and had us wondering if we would have to tip toe around for the entire week and be receiving daily complaint texts. Perhaps looking into whose children were actually creating a problem or waiting longer than 3.5 hours to text a client would have been better?

very nice clean condo and the location is perfect if you're looking for Crescent Beach. No wifi during one night of our stay so no tv. the bedroom tv's are only good for watching cds and aren't on cable. No guest book with directions for operating stuff, recommended eating places, etc as promised in description. no washer/dryer in the condo so you have to go down the hall to used public machines. We enjoyed our stay with the location and view.
