About this cabin rental

Relaxing under the tall pines Rowdy Rooster cabin sits in the beautiful park like setting of Kaniatobe Trails across the highway from Stevens Gap Road, which takes you to Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park. Within walking distance of several restaurants here in Hochatown. A newly converted garage to game room with doors that still open up to the outdoors, you will thoroughly enjoy your stay! No heat/air to the outdoor game room.

A no pet cabin that sleeps 16 with 3 king bedrooms, and upstairs in the loft is another king bed, and a full futon sofa sleeper. The bunkroom has 2 bunks, queens on bottom and twins on top. There are two and a half bathrooms. A separate garage recently converted to a game room houses the pool table, ping pong table, game tables, a tv and microwave with seating.

The retro kitchen is fun to cook in, and is already fully stocked with everything you need for creating meals at your cabin; utensils and bowls, pots and pans, bakeware, tableware, silverware, cups and glasses.

On the back deck are a new propane grill and the large hot tub ready for some awesome hot tubbing, open to the trees and sky. And just down the steps and into the back yard is a fire ring with seating for amazing starry evenings. A horse shoe pit is in the back yard as well.
Several restaurants are less than half a mile away.

1st cousin's getaway and many more to come. We most certainly will revisit the cabins. Speaking with my family, it was lovely. The only concern was outside was a little unkept. Patio needed to be swept off and cushions on chairs was dusty from the outside tree's. I know it's kind of hard to control, but for future guests just make sure everything outside looks presentable. But lovely spot.

Overall, our stay at Rowdy Rooster was fantastic. We had a few minor details that could have made our stay better. The weather was extremely cold and the heating was inadequate for the extreme cold. Additionally, there were problems with the televisions in two of the bedrooms. The managing staff, however, came out promptly to remedy these problems once we reported them. We would choose this place again, but in warmer weather..

This cabin was amazing! Very clean and exactly as the pictures showed. It was only a 7 minute walk to Greatful Head and across the street from Girls Gone Wine. It was relatively close to several cabins so it did feel a little bit like a neighborhood rather than a cabin in the woods. Otherwise it was amazing!

My fiancé, myself and our closest friends/family celebrated a joint Bach weekend together at the cabin. It was beyond lovely!! The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful, the game room is so much fun, the fire pit and jacuzzi are awesome. We all slept great because the beds are super comfy. We had the best, most relaxing time and did not want the weekend to end! Already discussing when we can come back!

The sleeping accommodations were perfect for use, we will able to sleep comfortably all in our family group. Almost everything we needed was provided in the kitchen. Plenty of things to do while at the cabin and it was very close to the parks and lake access as well as stores for the forgotten food items.

This was a nice property on a corner lot with good privacy in the back. House was clean and kitchen was very well stocked. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and out. Dishwasher was not working but the management company was very responsive and came out twice and worked on it until it could run temporarily even though there was an issue with the pump. Only complaints were that the pillows were limited and hard and the game room was actually a detached garage with no airflow and minimal seating. There were a few small desk type fans in the there but that was it. A small mini split AC unit or even a few ceiling fans or a window for cross flow when the doors were open would be nice. It was insulated but just was just not remotely usable in the high summer temps until about 10 or 11 at night and the quiet hours start at 11 pm.

The cabin was so beautiful. I loved how gracious the owner was and very good with communication. The bathroom and outdoor area were relatively dirty and we had to clean them before we could use them. The listing said the cabin could sleep 19 but we found that we were only able to sleep 16, and no we aren’t big people. Overall, the cabin is in a great location and many blankets were provided. You may want to bring your own towels as there weren’t many. We had a fantastic time overall!

This property and Host were absolutely amazing! The weather was horrible where we were traveling from and Anna was so understanding and willing to accommodate us however we needed to make sure we got there safe. The house had everything we would possibly need and was very clean. We will definitely be back to stay in this cabin.

I really enjoyed my stay at the cabin! Very spacious and family friendly. I gave this property a 4 star and took of 1 star becoz the game room was in a separate garage space and did not have a heater and the weather was -2 , we couldn't make much use if the game room. I am sure during summer this would be one fo the best cabins. Overall loved it.

Well kept cabin with nice layout. We enjoyed the use of the pool table and ping pong table as well as the fire pit. Only downside was location in a neighborhood setting of sorts —next door cabin shot fireworks off until 3am —Couldn’t get any TV service in master bedroom —no remote that would work was found—Had wasps in the upstairs loft area until we seemed to kill them all—found 3 the first couple of days —not sure where they were getting in —but it is the woods so to speak so we can expect some critters —overall nice stay.
