Excellent natural retreat surrounded by its own moat.

The cabin was spacious. Exceptionally clean and fully stocked with small kitchen appliances (coffee maker, toaster), dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans. it’s location to the water. Parking close to rental unit. The owners were on location and very accommodating. The autumnal colors were beautiful.

We arrived late in the evening due to the ferry scheduled almost past the place up the sign was on the left side of the road and wasn’t lighted. We called from the mainland advising the proprietors of our late arrival due to the ferry schedule. The owners were outside to meet us. Spotty cell phone signal inside the cabin but worked outside.

Very pleasant and peaceful, with a wonderful Host!

It’s location across from the bay, wonderful to look out on. We liked the use of the canoe also, And a comfortable bed.

The shower was extremely hard to move around in, being so small. Also it would be good to have the dripping faucet in the kitchen fixed.

A nice experience, a nice location and the cabin is fully furnished (fridge, stove etc.)

Love the location and really don't have anything negative to say about the experience. The cabin was nice. The ONLY negative (which isn't the end of the world) would be that the grounds seemed a little messy, but that could be attributed to our stay being at the beginning of the season. Overall we had a really good time and stay.

Again, just the grounds being a little messy. Not a super big deal, but if some of the clutter was cleaned up and the parking area wasn't muddy it would add to the experience.

Loved staying at Steffen's Cedar Lodge. We will definitely be back!!!

Location is fantastic-on the water, close to town, quiet/relaxing. Cabin was nice-clean, comfortable beds, had a picnic table & grill. Becky is super nice! If we needed anything (we didn't) just had to ask.

The fouled mouthed rowdy wedding people next cabin over. Nothing we didn't like accomodation wise.

Overall stayed with satisfaction

Location is very nice and the people are really good. Great view of the sea from the room.

Room is not clean enough, only one bathroom for 3 bedroom sea view apt. which is not good.

We needed a rest... this place caused me anxiety

The area around the cabin was great for biking - some hills but not too terrible. It was a great loop into town and back. Although the lake was across the street, there was no beach area, only boat tie ups.

Rooms were very hot. The one room with the twin beds was unbearably hot. My daughter actually got up to put on ice pack on herself. No ceiling fans other than the center room. Had fans in rooms but were not sufficient. Could not use dressers as they were very musty smelling. Same with the kitchen cupboards. The living room only had one coach so a family of four had little relaxing space (it rained while we were there and we did some reading). We had to check out a day early due to a medical issue that my husband was able to get a doctor appointment for over the weekend. The owner indicated we would not get refunded the one day because we already paid. No consideration of the reason we were leaving. If you don't mind tent camping, this is a step up. If you are looking for the comforts of home, this isn't it.

The location was close to attractions.

Beds were rock hard. Bathroom was yuck. Everything was extremely dated. No air conditioning and one of the windows had the handle broken and couldn't be opened. Wifi didn't work great. The beach front they advertise is misleading.. there is maybe five feet of a little sand and the rest is a concrete dock. They advertise a kitchen but it's a mini fridge and a microwave.

Enjoyed our stay and the view from our deck was spectacular! Definitely will stay here again!

The view was great! Becky, the hostess, is wonderful and very helpful.

The mattresses could be better in the rooms. I had a very comfy mattress (I think it was new) but the bed itself was slanted because of the uneven floor. They need more coasters under the two legs to lift it and make it even. It was hard to sleep when I kept sliding to the edge. Everyone else complained of hurting and being stiff in the mornings. Becky brought us a memory foam topper for one of the beds after our first night. She is wonderful!!!Despite the beds, we would stay again because it really is a nice place.

The view, the community, the grounds were clean and beautiful, it was quiet and right on the water which made for great views

The only thing I didn't like was the old bed I felt like I was going to break it and it was a little to small

Didn’t know what to expect but rustic accommodations.

Location was great. Cozy. Full kitchen for a long term stay. We just stopped one night on a difficult to book Memorial Day week-end.

The front windows towards beach were actually a different part of structure.
