No bed spread Terrible smell No curtain on bathroom window Curtain in room did not fit window and had holes in it Room was almost bright as day from outside lights

Booked two rooms with Booking.com. While traveling, called the Hotel to make sure it was ok to check in at 1 or 2 AM, and was informed that I did not have reservations and no rooms were available.

Not family friendly. Marijuana smell. Police activity.

Location was good.

Almost everything was bad. Room reeked of marijuana. The bathroom was disgusting with mouldy caulk, used soap on the tub, stained bath curtains. The sheets were questionable, so we used our own bedding. There was police activity at the motel throughout the night. We realized our bad choice and got out before we could get a wink. This place is not family friendly, it's for people who want to do their thing and move on.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life.

Staff was very understanding and friendly

Only 2 working outlets in the whole room. The Fridgerator did not work, stunk with mold. Bathroom door would not close. Smoke detector beeped all night. Was woke at 230 am with people banging on doors and another black lady screaming and yelling. Sherrifs office came. More screaming and yelling. It was so bad we left the hotel at 3 am

I liked how they let us book a room from Virginia and drive 7 hrs to arrive at 11 pm to discover that this place has closed down. I like how they left us at that time to find a room in a very limited area. Good looking out , guys!

The Lake Marion Inn is well located for travelers on I95.

The motel is old & in need of significant updating. We have a sense it was recently purchased & is being improved on a limited budget. Exterior painting is in process but no replacement of exterior wood etc. The only upgrade in the two rooms we occupied was new TVs. Our second room became unsleepable when a smoke detector in an adjacent room starting chirping as needing a new battery. Personnel from motel we unable to open door of adjacent room. Left to retrieve a “box” to trip the keyless lock. After waiting 25 or 30 minutes we put our belongings back in the car and changed motels. Santee has several new motels and quite a few older “mom and pop” motels; several being boarded up and decaying. Give owners of Lake Marion Inn “A” for effort but they have a lot of work ahead.

I booked thru you guys. The place was closed. Word is it's being condemned. Not Happy! Youd think you guys would know that kind of thing and give me a heads-up. Had to scramble around for a place to stay. I'll never use you again and I will put it out on the social and media platforms at my disposal.

Property is closed since at least August Confirmed reservation 2 hours prior to arrival yet no one found on arrival - office closed Take this property off your site! Luckily was able to find another room elsewhere I will think twice before using your site again! Obviously site at not vetted

It was horrible and the manager needs to be replaced.

The rooms were clean

The manager Adam was very rude. No wifi even tho we were told we'd have it. We couldn't even watch TV. There was no wifi so the satellite didn't work.

Good choice if your looking for weed or a hook-up.

The young man at check in was very engaging, polite and helpful.

Very Dirty, glass and questionable debris all over parking lot. Smelled like weed everywhere, towels were stained, no cable as advertised, no toilet seat cover, shower head leaked and sprayed water everywhere. I could go on. This would be a place that should be about $25 a night and i would never have booked here.
