Eclectic and cozy, slept great, perfect amenities.

We loved this house - cute, quirky, charming. And it was perfect for our first trip to the Sedona area. We did wineries in Cottonwood, drove to the Grand Canyon, and hiked and shopped in Sedona. The home was comfortable and provided everything we needed, including and especially the hot tub that overlooks the valley.

Property was excellent. Home was clean and very comfortable, super cute and cozy. Had everything we needed. Views are spectacular, easy to find- star gazing is amazing. I would and probably will book this property again. I liked being outside the hub of Sedona, yet it is close enough to spend the day and have your own privacy in the evening and watch the gorgeous sunrise in comfort on the front patio. Very clean hot tub was a great bonus!

This cottage was clean and pretty nice to stay in. In that sense it was served our needs very nicely. They were very responsive when I messaged them about a drip in the kitchen sink. The drip didn't bother us, but I wanted to let them know about it in case they were paying for their water. The hot tub is a winner too! The location is strange. I wouldn't say it's close to Sedona. It's a 30-40 minute drive to the town of Sedona, assuming you don't hit a huge line of cars entering Sedona from the south, which seems to be the regular pattern and makes it even longer. We ended up taking walks south of the town to avoid that mess. Lake Montezuma is not really a town. It's mostly modest homes scattered on the landscape. The closest supermarket is about 15-20 mins away in Oak Creek, and the only place to eat close by seems to be a Thai restaurant, which is actually REALLY GOOD. Some of the best Thai food we've had, and we eat a lot of Thai food. At the end of the day, we were happy to not be in the middle of the craziness that is Sedona.

We had some issues with this house. There was no dishwasher, the air conditioner didn't cool the cabin enough to make us comfortable, the blinds were so warped that you could not close them properly, the deck had several soft spots, and the walkway was absolutely dangerous. However, that being said, if viewed as a painted cabin, there is less disappointment. The view of the stars was magnificent. Sitting in the hot tub was relaxing. The quiet was a wonderful thing to experience.

The place was very clean, well appointed and the entire neighborhood was super quiet. Someone in the area does have a rooster but the fan on the ac takes care if that noise. The hot tub is great and the stars are breathtaking.

Really great place near Sedona for our family.

The house is really cute, clean and well equipped. Loved having breakfast on the front porch. The view is amazing. Very quiet neighborhood perfectly centralized to all the Verde Valley communities. We enjoyed Cottonwood, Jerome and Sedona. The drive to Prescott is wild and very curvy. Not for the faint of heart. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is a cute property and clean as a whistle. It is as advertised. Very well kept and lots of great amenities. Be aware that there is a small incline to walk up to the cabin and steps to navigate. We were fine, but it could be challenging if you have mobility issues. The hot tub was clean and a great addition......relaxation and stars galore. The beds were great -I suggest curtains in the front bedroom as it gets the morning sun and was very bright very early. Overall - amazing lil' cabin in a cute lil' town. Make sure & try Robbie's for great food & a fun time.

Everything was the way the advertisment promised. This will be our home everytime we visit Arizona.

The hot tub was incredibly amazingly. It was the best part of our stay. Plus there is an outstanding Thai restaurant extremely close for those who don’t want to cook. Great location.

The photos did not do Liz’s place justice! This home was so well stocked with everything you could need and has such nice personal touches. The beds were sooo comfortable and heat/ac worked great. Highly recommend using the hot tub at dusk and enjoying the sun hitting the red rocks perfectly. This was a very special weekend and Liz’s cottage felt like home. Thank you a million :)

Cute, quirky (quote from a Midwesterner) and everything we needed. The 30 min ride to Sedona and Its awesome trails was a delightful and scenic ride. Downtown Cottonwood and the hillside town of Jerome ere great. Both are must-see places.

This was a perfect place for my family to have a comfortable place to stay with visiting in the verde valley. It was kid friendly and had gorgeous views

Our Stay was terrific and the place was great. We did not enjoy much of the jacuzzi much because it was raining. We used it one time and it was great. Cooking was a significant pain the smoke detector was going off all the time and it forced us to open doors, let the heat out, and cool air in, it was constantly alarming, so if you planning on cooking better think twice. Besides that, we went to Phoenix, Flagstaff, and Sedona, just a few hours away and on a day trip. The last thing it is easy to get to, so you can come back home late, it is just off the highway.

This is a gorgeous cottage; jolly and well equipped and clean as a whistle. The area has lots of lovely things to do. I would come again most definitely. Highly recommend.

Plenty of room and lots of entertaining items for the family. Driveway a nightmare...rutted and narrow. Wonderful blankets. A bit scary driving there at night...poor road visibility at spots and narrow. Nice view. TV not usable for me. Cable not connected and I was asked if I was a member of hulu or some other group when Liz came to put good batteries in the remote. We chatted so long I never got to try the TV before she left and didn't want to bother her again. I guess that's my fault. Lots of room. Nice and clean. Everything you need. Liz is a sweetheart. I wanted to see if I wanted to live in Rimrock but decided the roads were too risky for when I get older...and I'm already 76. Glad to have stayed there.

My friend and I stayed here on our girls trip and absolutely loved it! The house was immaculate, perfectly tucked away, and so cozy. We had everything we needed! Liz was also so kind and responsive and just an overall great host. Thank you for everything!!

This lodging was spacious and well-appointed. The location is within reach of spectacular sites and hikes but well out of the crazy Sedona traffic. We especially loved the hot tub with starry skies uninterrupted by city lighting after a day of hiking the Red Rocks.

The cabin was so CLEAN, and the vibe was cozy, colorful, and quiet. I felt safe and secluded. The kitchen was well stocked. I loved being able to do my laundry (sweaty hiking clothes = yuck!). The hot tub was a perfect way to end each day, the stars are spectacular. Excellent and quick communication with the host throughout. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were happy with the home. It was VERY clean and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room and big closets in the bedrooms. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The hot tub was a nice addition. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the front porch. It was peaceful watching the sun rise. The home has everything you need including a French press for coffee! The details and special touches show the owner takes pride in their home. Sedona is amazing. We ate at the Pump House in Sedona and it was YUMMY. We took a tour of the Grand Canyon with Above and Beyond Grand Canyon Tours. Our tour guide, Molly, was excellent and well versed. She knows everything you need to know about the Grand Canyon. I highly suggest this tour w/ Molly as your guide! My nephew drove, but I would say it was about a 2 hour drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and an hour to Sedona and Flagstaff. I spoke to the owner, Liz, several times via Vrbo email. Communication was easy and Liz was fast to respond. It was a perfect stay! Thank you, Liz!
