Great place, but not aloft that it was in the past! It’s like a Hampton Inn with a little cooler vibe…

It’s an aloft hotel! It’s got a cool vibe! There’s a pool!

Not a real restaurant or morning breakfast. It’s just a cinnamon bun warmed up for $9 and warmed up coffee.

Great night sleep!!!

The lobby is clean, room was clean but the pillows and bed were super comfortable. Had a great night sleep.

Water pressure in the shower was a little low. Not a big deal.

Great hotel. I will definitely stay there again when I visit my family.

The staff was really cool. There was the front desk girl Destiny, the bar girl Katie and the Manager (forgot his name) that were all very professional and made the experience at Aloft very enjoyable. Thanks

The pool water was very cold.

Expected more - will not return - weird place

Dark - no breakfast or really any restaurant on the property which I feel the online description is misleading. Especially did not like the set up of the rain and that the bathroom in particular, the shower just exits into common area.

Will not choose Aloft for return visits to the Charlotte area.

The front desk staff were wonderful. very friendly and helpful. The bartender (female with long blonde hair) was amazing. So sweet and very good at her job.

I chose the hotel because it had a restaurant listed. There was no true restaurant. You had to sit at the bar and order food that offered 5 choices and was mediocre at best. We had a baby with us who traveled across the country with her mother and both were exhausted. Would have preferred a comfortable sit down restaurant. Also, we had no shampoo in our shower. I reported the issue to front desk. When I returned to the room later in the day, shampoo had been added, but the room had not been cleaned and the bed not made.

Do not stay here!

Worse room of my life. Air filter never shut off, check in person was not pleasant. No hot water and housekeeping did not finish making up room.

Very disappointed our room wasn't cleaned upon arrival and the room we requested wasn't available.

The breakfast was horrible. The reception when we arrived was good. Need more carts for luggage only had two at this hotel and they weren't available when we arrived with our luggage/bad the hotel need more at that location. Marriott can do better at that i'm sure.

The breakfast and more carts for guests can get their luggage to their room.

The first room they gave us had baby spiders on the bedding. We had to pack up and move to another room. They offered us free drinks. That’s it. No discount. It’s a good think my daughter untucked the bedding or we would have been sleeping with spiders!

The two phones we had could not be plugged into the light fixture because the connection was losose and it would not charge. Not sides of light.

fantastic stay, though we only stayed one night.

modern vibe, friendly touches (this one promoted a local animal shelter; guests frequently ended up adopting a foster animal they met at the hotel!). The facilities were sparkling clean and attractive as were the rooms. Bathrooms were first rate, and they generally influence 90% of my overall rating of a property. lots of restaurants across the street.

Will not stay here again.

Dog poop all over sidewalk to get to front door. walked into lobby, odor and floors so dirty, rugs soiled! Staff was not welcoming. They were more concerned about welcoming pets. Room-rug was sticky! Room smelled. Looked like dirt was just put in corners. Did not have hot water. very lukewarm at best. Only stayed one night instead of numerous nights.
