Located in the Kuau Plaza, on Maui's North Shore. A stone's throw from Ho'okipa Beach Park, Tavares Bay, Nori’s and several other fun surf breaks, The Green Guava is a comfortable place to chill-out after a your day at the beach! Walking distance to Mama's Fish house, Kuau Store and near public beach access points, you won't need to go far to find beaches, surf, windsurfing, and a nice spot to relax!
The Green Guava is located in Kuau Plaza, a small, 30 unit condominium complex on Maui’s North Shore. The space itself is fun, breezy, casual, and relaxing. There are two pune, or Hawaiian daybeds (twin size) in the living room, situated for sitting, lounging, sleeping or napping! A spacious eastern king size bed is situated in the bedroom. A pub-style table that seats 4. There is also a small outside patio and table where guests can enjoy morning coffee, meals and afternoon cocktails!
The quaint yet hip town of Paia is only one mile away.

The unit has split AC. Please take care to return the remotes to their mounts on the wall. Additionally, in this climate, with our humidity being what it is, the optimum temperature setting will be between70-74 degrees. We ask that guests adhere to this temperature range.

Keep in mind that check out is at 10:30 am as our cleaning staff need the time for cleaning. If your flight out is at night, I would recommend booking an additional night in order to give yourself the full last day at the condo.

Very clean. Nice kitchen and comfortable master bedroom. Living area has 2 couches and pillows for tv watching , lounging, sleeping . Also had beach chairs , cooler, stroller, bamboo beach mats and toys . Bath gel, shampoo and conditioner in the cool tiled shower. Overall very comfortable and right next to Mamas Fish House - which has a nice beach area in front of the restaurant . Pai’a is a funky friendly town with great shops and restaurants

Location was convenient to Paia and Haiku towns. Easy to get to from Kahului. Unit was clean and exactly as stated in the listing. Convenient parking right in front of my door. Property manager (or owner) was easy to work with and very responsive. I would stay here again.

I will start by saying that lodging on Maui is very expensive. This condo was the most reasonable available. We found it to be clean and adequate. Although nothing wonderful, would stay again as it met our needs. Chief complaints were lack of normal seating in living room, and missing glass pieces in rear glass wall (rear wall is all glass that is designed to crank open & several glass slates are missing). Hopefully owner will take care of that.

Cute condo in Pa'ia near several beaches along Hana Pkwy. Well-maintained condo with all the basic necessities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. The condo is near downtown Pa'ia and in walking distance to Ku'au Market for food necessities! The beaches nearby are great pit stops. I would definitely this condo again if we are in the Pa'ia region.

We stayed two nights and it was very comfortable for the three of us: couple + teen. Easy access to Paia, which we loved and a short drive to many upcountry attractions that we enjoyed visiting. Super story walk to Mama’s Fish House where we enjoyed an amazing dinner. Would stay again.

Our small family didn’t want to drive to Hana from west Maui so we wrapped up our Maui stay by spending 2 nights here as a launching off point for the Road to Hana! It was clean, cozy and convenient! Had everything we’d need for a comfortable stay. We also treated ourselves to Mama’s Fish House which is walking distance. Airport was also close by after wrapping up the Maui portion of our trip. Great place!!

Very much enjoyed are stay. Great Location for exploring the east side and upcountry of Maui. It was great to be able to take a short walk to the beach. We were lucky enough to see a Honu. It was on the beach when we arrive mid-afternoon. It even went into the water then returned to the beach! The unit was supplied with everything we needed. Very comfortable

Short easy walk through back gate and nice neighborhood to Mamma’s Fish House and the adjacent beach. Great food and place for children to play in the water. Giant protected turtles on the beach. Beach chairs available on back porch of rental. Large yard for children to run around. Everything you need to eat in and sleep. Very clean and large tv.

The location in Kuau close to Mama's cove is fantastic, even if we were out all day we took a short dip or snorkeling trip or just watched the waves coming in during late afternoon. The condo is very well equipped.

Our trip was quick, just 2 night, but the location was great. Close to the big wave beaches, Baldwin Beach (sandy and swimable), the cute town of Paia, and the road to Hana. Kids are 9 and 7 and were comfortable on the living space beds/couches.

Bedroom very quiet, even if next to parking lot which was next to main Hana Hwy. Just needed little touch ups. Comfortable, convenient location just outside of Paia, close to Kahului for us to visit relatives and go to Makawao, Kula, Kihei, Olowalu,etc..

This condo had all the things we needed king sized bed, well equipped kitchen with quality cookware, full kitchen and small appliances. Living room doubles as a second bedroom for children with two twin futons with lots of pillows. Bathroom has a shower but no tub with nice tiles. We were within walking distance to a wonderful beach and a small grocery store/deli. The only criticism we had is the bedroom didn't have curtains that blocked out light. More hangers would be nice too. Clean and tidy, everything had a nice freshed washed scent. No air conditioning but not needed because there are trade wind breezes everyday. We enjoyed our stay!

This location was just perfect for our stay! Had exactly what we needed, and the location was excellent. Quaint, cute, and comfortable. Colleen our property manager was incredible. We lost power our first night because of downed power lines in the area and she brought us lanterns, a cooler with ice, and even a camping grill. And checked on us afterwards to follow up. Would stay again!

Smart choice to explore northern Maui

This was a great spot for our family. We wanted a place in Paia to explore just for a day and used it at a launching spot for driving the road to Hana. The unit was just about the cleanest I have seen on vrbo so that was very reassuring! The location was about a mile from downtown Paia so we would drive there to visit, keeping in mind there are no sidewalks and I traveled with ages 7-72. You may feel differently depending on your situation. There is a natural grocery store that has coffee, smoothies, and breakfast and lunch if you need a quick bite. The biggest draw is that this unit is walking distance to Mama's Fish House! We scored last minute reservations that I couldn't get from home as they are booked 3-6 months in advance. We walked out thr back gate and about 500ft. later we were at the hostess stand. It was one of the best meals I have had in my life. Important things about this unit....no AC, but that is common here, so not atypical. Beds and futons were perfect for our family, but firm. Walls are very think...we didn't hear a sound from anyone while we were there. The unit is right on the road so you do hear road noise, and that is all the time! People making the treck to Hana early, so we heard cars at 2am, it simply wasn't a deal breaker for us. The only complaint I had was no coffee filters or coffee, and I add as a side note for you to be prepared if you book here! But overall great stop and would book here again! Mahalo

Nice condo overall. Beds are a bit used. Bedroom bed is very noisy. Living room beds are better for younger people. Kitchen is nice with all amenities. Bathroom is nice. Very close to Mama’s Kitchen. Just a mile outside of Paia town.

The good - this place is great for getting an early start on The Road to Hana. Great access to beaches and shops in Paia. The bad - Street noise from the road and car lights come through master bedroom all night. Cars literally park about 30 feet from where you sleep. If people come in/out while you’re sleeping - you’re gonna hear everything. The unit does have everything you’ll need, but it really is sparsely furnished with what looks like garage sale finds. There is absolutely nothing extra about this place. The bed and mattress in master are squeaky and hard and all linens in bathroom and bedroom look/feel like they’re years old. Just a tad more investment on this condo on the little things would’ve helped to overcome the rough sleep we got there and even bump it up in the rankings.

Perfect place to stay when doing the road to Hana. We flew in at 3pm and weren’t meeting up with friends til the next day. Only had one day to complete the road to Hana. This was perfect! We beat all of the traffic! So close to The center of Paia. Also close enough to Twin Falls for a quick evening trip. I loved this place! It was decorated perfectly! Thank you for a great start to our trip!!!
