About this house rental
Escape to our Charming Red Cabin home in Pinetop-Lakeside. Nestled on 1 private wooded acre on top of Springer Mountain, our 3 bed/2 bath home is ideal for families or friends wanting an adventure filled get away. Some of our great amenities include a stone fireplace, dreamy beds, game room, pool table, Directv, reading nook, wifi, hot tub, hammock and an awesome treehouse. Shopping, theater, hiking, fishing, dining, snowboarding and more are just minutes away. Stay, play and make memories.
Through the front door, you'll find a cozy family room with vaulted wood ceilings, a big screen TV (with Directv) and a stone fire place. If you love making stew on a cold winter evening, our small but fully equipped kitchen is ready to go and is open to the family room and dining area with comfortable seating for 8 people. Down the hall is a cowboy themed bedroom with a queen bed, lots of closet space and is next door to a full size bathroom. Provided for your convenience is a washer/dryer and iron/ironing board in the laundry/mud room.
Kick your feet up on the back porch which overlooks lush pine trees and the forest beyond or enjoy a soak in the hot tub as the sun goes down. Our 2 person hammock is a good place for a nap while the awesome treehouse entertains the kids (or adults) for hours. Finish your eventful day sitting next to the fire pit roasting marshmallows or telling ghost stories.
At the top of the stairs you'll find natural light filled reading nook with books for all ages. Also on the second floor, you'll find a bedroom with an awesome bunk bed (made out of wood trunks) with a full size bed on the bottom, twin bed on top, another twin bed and a nice sized closet, all to fit 4 people comfortably.
The third bedroom has a wood carved queen bed, TV (with Directv) and a nice sized closet to fit all your snow gear! The second full bathroom is conveniently located across the hallway. Our game room is large with plenty of room to play a lively game of pool or watch a movie. We have a great selection of boardgames for every age and puzzles to test your patience.
We have gone to great lengths to make sure our home is clean, sanitized and has everything you need to feel right at home.

We had a relaxing stay at this lovely cabin. The property backs up the the forest and the yard is kept very natural forest.
The cabin is just as pictured and very comfortable. There was only 2 of us so we really just made use of the downstairs, however we did play pool a couple of times in the game room. Great pool table!
We would definitely return to this cabin and will be looking at the calendar for the winter months. Look forward to utilizing the hot tub and the fire pit.

We absolutely loved this cabin! Very clean, very spacious, the outdoor set up was awesome. We loved the pool table and the hammock. The host was VERY easy to work with and very accomodating. We will definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family and will definitely be back!

This was an awesome stay. Everything was very clean, towel and sheets were very clean. Great location and scenery. Quiet and nice area. Hope to stay there again!

The property was clean, spacious, and well taken care of for an older home.
We have kids ranging from 5 to 17, and everyone was satisfied and stayed busy with all the different amenities. The host was very easy to work with. There were plenty of pillows and towels, and a fan in each room. We would definitely stay here again!

It was tucked away so you had privacy, a big yard to do things outside if you wanted to as well as games and things inside. Very clean and lots of sittimg areas to gather together.

We stayed as a family of four for Christmas and had such a great time. The check in was easy and Laura responded quickly to any questions I had. The cabin is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. We used the hot tub, pool table, board games and played an interesting game of off road croquet in the huge backyard! It's a good distance from neighbors and still very close to town. There were towels available (I appreciated the makeup towels!) and a fully stocked kitchen, which is older and could probably use a little renovation but it adds charm. Check out instructions were easy to follow. We had lunch at Long Wongs on the way out and highly recommend it, really cool decor, tasty food and great specials.
If you're on the fence, I'd just book it! We hope to stay here again soon!

It was a great place to stay. The Internet was off but what do you expect being out in the woods😉 loved the location only thing is if the town has a parade be prepared that the only way to the home might be closed off.

Our family stayed at the cabin for the weekend to go skiing at Sunrise. The kids had a great time in the tree house and also playing in the game room. The cabin is very comfortable and has a fully stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Came to Phoenix to visit my daughter and grandchildren From Alabama. We were in is this cabin based on the pictures and the pictures did not lie. The property and host were truly amazing. We will definitely come again. We got a bonus of a 4 inch snow on our departure.

The property was beautiful, and an excellent location within town. The owners were lovely, and we could not have asked for a better cabin to stay in.

Overall wonderful experience, loved the game room and hot tub. The down sides were that the oven had a strong gas smell when we used it and didn’t properly work (burned our food after 5 mins). Also listing said high-speed internet, it was extremely slow and basically only one person was able to use it at a time. Even then it kept buffering and taking a long time to load anything.

Charming cabin with everything we needed for our large family. Beautiful location that's easy to find. Close enough to the main road for convenient access, but tucked away with plenty of space and trees so you can do your own thing and not have to worry about the neighbors. Plus, there are several beautiful parks and trails nearby (within 10 minutes). And don't miss out on breakfast at Darbi's!
The house itself was charming. Mountain cabin feel with all the amenities. Everything we needed for our family of 8. Plenty of beds, blankets, and pillows. Plenty of cookware and dishes to keep us all fed. Bath and swim towels. And a washer and dryer with everything you need to keep the kids in clean clothes. Yep, they thought of everything.
The kids loved the hot tub, treehouse and swing in the backyard. S'mores around the campfire. Inside, the pool table, games, Smart TV and reading nook were big hits as well. All 6 kids, from 18 to 2 years old, were able to enjoy themselves.
We made so many memories in such a short time in this beautiful home. We're already looking to schedule another stay!

It’s a beautiful home on a large lot. Lots of privacy. There is a user guide to explain everything from the TV to the internet. Very handy. My wife and I really used just the first floor but there is ample room for many more guests. . We loved sitting on the porch drinking our coffee in the morning. Jacuzzi, grill and hammock all available to make it a first class vacation. It’s in a very central location to everything. Highly recommend this property fir family reunions, friend gathering or just a luxurious holiday.

My family and I had an excellent stay at the cabin and in PineTop-Lakeside. The cabin offered my family things to do when the monsoon rain came in. They loved the game room! Laura was always available and went out of her way to send my daughters glasses to her when she forgot them. Laura was very kind and helpful. We hope to rent the cabin again in the future. Thank you again!

From the moment we walked in we felt very comfortable. The size was perfect and there were a variety of things to do from watching T.V. , playing games, family time, and spending time outside using amenities of the cabin. The trail in the National Forest was close to the property too- and we were able to enjoy walks there everyday.

Book This Great Home
What a great cabin in a really great area of Lakeside. Our host was superb on every level. Our group was a 3 generation family and the grandkids have already made us promise to come back to this charming home! The backyard area was a wonderland for them and they made the most of it.
The house was super clean, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the playroom/gameroom with huge beanbag chairs and cabinet of games became their kingdom :-)
There's a huge mudroom for tossing all your gear so it isn't in the cabin, maybe that's a dorky feature to mention but with kid's play equipment and extra groceries etc it really makes for less clutter in cabin.
Our host was very attentive during booking and our stay, really an A++

Darling, quaint, cozy cabin
Our most favorite cabin we have ever stayed in! Our kiddos especially loved the hot tub and pool table and absolutely loved it! It is equipped with everything you might need to fully enjoy your stay and clearly Laura has put a great deal of thought into this. The backyard is fenced and I loved being able to let my kids run around and explore. Thanks so much for a dreamy vacation Laura!! We would LOVE to come stay again!

With the home having no a/c as listed. The fans upstairs in the bedrooms were in need of being replaced. The bedroom with the queen bed had an extremely noisy fan. To the point you could not sleep with it on. The bedroom with the bunk beds did not have a adjusted chain. So to stay the least the fans were inadequate to use in the bedrooms. The house became very warm.
The bathroom upstairs shower pull is extremely loose and was concerning to even use. We did not allow the kids to touch it.

We absolutely loved our stay in this cozy home in Pinetop! It had a little bit of everything for adults and kids. Great House for families
We loved our stay here. There for 4 adults and 3 young kids (6 and under). The kids loved the "game room" which is stocked with tons of games and puzzles. They also enjoyed tree house, backyard, and walking down to the creek to explore. We had trouble connecting to Wifi when we arrived but Laura was so attentive. The issue was quickly resolved. I highly recommend renting here.
