About this bed and breakfast
Located just at at the edge of the beautiful Rocky Mountains!
We are only a 5 min. drive to Jasper Park East Gates, a *35 MINUTES* scenic drive from the TOWNSITE of Jasper, and 15min drive to the town of Hinton.
Enjoy local food and beer at Folding Mountain Brewing, just a 5min walk from our suite. Surrounded by gorgeous mountain views, with many hiking/waking trails close by.
Newly renovated suite with 2 bedrms (queen beds), bathrm, kitchenette, and spacious living area.
This brand new 700 sq.ft. BASEMENT suite is nestled in our quaint little village of only 30 homes. A private entrance is located at the back of the house (stairs up to the door), which brings you to a set of stairs down to the entrance to this cozy suite.
Guests have access to private suite, entry way, driveway, and BBQ (on patio).
Backyard is for homeowner use.
Please feel free to use the BBQ in the patio, it is natural gas.
You can leave your recycling in the black bins on the patio, but please leave garbage in the suite.

We stayed for 2 nights. Everything in the apartment was as advertised. It is very close to the East Gate of Jasper National Park which was unfortunately closed during our stay due to wildfires. The host Amy was very helpful in addressing all our questions on what is open and what to see etc with all the closures. Since the family lives upstairs, we could hear the footsteps when they were walking about but they were very considerate to keep it quiet after 11PM. Would recommend this to others.

Family vacation. Great for what we needed. We weren’t there much because we were out most day light hiking/exploring. It is a basement. Windows were limited. Supplied well for most part. Fridge space is limited. We have 2 18+ yo kids and it was nice with extra room for them to have own areas.

This basement suite was clean,
comfortable for 2 couples and in a place that was easily accessible from Jasper.
We enjoyed the short walk to Folding Mountain Brewery for dinner and beer.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was clean and comfortable after long days of hiking and sightseeing. Even though it just has a kitchenette we found it to be very functional and the induction cooktop met our cooking needs.
The area is beautiful and we also enjoyed a meal and craft beer at Folding Mountain Brewery which is within walking distance. We highly recommend staying here.

Overall this was a great place to stay… some things to know: -the owners live upstairs (as described), and there will be some considerable noise at times… -after showering there was a good amount of water on the bathroom floor, no matter how we adjusted the shower door… -the hair dryer is melted on the end, but still functional… -this was the squeakiest bed we’ve ever stayed on!
We picked this place for the location… I highly suggest you wake up early and take a drive to Cadomin, we saw 3 grizzly bears!

My husband and I spent 4 nights in the Cedar Suite outside of the east gate to Jasper National Park. The suite was well maintained and very comfortable, perfect for what we needed. We loved that the brewery was just a short walk down the road and hung out there most nights - great food and live music on friday. It is a basement suite but you have access to the patio so we were still able to enjoy the outdoors.

I knew the unit would be a basement suite, but was surprised how dark it was. After checking in we realized we were only provided two towels for four people to use for four day/nights. The owner provided two additional towels upon request, but given the dampness in the unit there was no way to dry them so we needed more. The next day we realized we were only provided a quarter roll of toilet paper, again for four days. After requesting more we eventually got some. It was annoying to have to continually request essential basic items over and over given how much we were paying to stay here. Also the drive to Jasper activities is far. Again not surprised by this but if you can find something closer to Jasper I would recommend that and save the extra two hour commute each day.

Clean and roomier overall than what we expected as there's a second living room (with a pullout bed) and TV. Bathroom is new and good water pressure (+ very hot water). Good WiFi, too. Bedrooms are small and mattresses a little soft.
We didnt use the back deck but it looked great, as did the grill.
A three-minute drive from a gem of a brew pub.

Rented the place for the weekend during the Jasper dark sky festival. Really enjoyed the cozy and charming decor and while the property is about 30min from Jasper it didn’t feel too far away. There is a brewery about a 10 minute walk away that has fantastic food and even better beer. Definitely recommend and I plan to come back frequently.

The property was better than described. Owner’s did a fantastic job of turning their basement into a separate apartment. Clean and up to date. Our private deck overlooked the backyard which could use a little care but all in all the place was perfect for us.

At the time of our booking there were forest fires in the area. The host was very understanding and flexible. In the end, we did go and we were so glad that we did. The scenery is incredibly beautiful and we saw wildlife on numerous occasions.

Spent two nights in this cozy lower level apartment. Smaller kitchen but great patio/barbecue area. Host was very responsive to any of our needs. Comfortable bedding. Extra room if you had small children would be awesome.

The condo was clean, very convenient to everything we did. There should be more instructions about where to park because that took us a minimum of 30 minutes to figure out. Only because we asked a maid did we know what to do. The upstairs sink was stopped up so that wasn’t very pleasant. All and all, I would give it a good review.

We had a great time. The suite was exactly as described, very quiet, clean, confortable, all the basics needed for our stay. The queen beds and beddings were very comfortable, and the sofa bed & TV in the separate living area very appreciated by our kid!

Well equipped apartment near fantastic brewery
Apartment had everything we needed. A little further out of Jasper but we felt was well worth it in terms of cost v benefit - accommodation in town seemed really overpriced for the standard. Huge benefit was having the brewery at the end of the road - we went there every night. Hosts very easy to communicate with. Apartment itself was really well stocked with additional treats that we really appreciated. Would recommend to others!

Cute place
We were passing through the area and so this spot was a convenient and affordable option. The space was roomy, well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen setup worked out quite well for us, and the Folding Mountain Kitchen and Brewery down the street was a nice little spot our first night. Really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed with my family for a few days and was really relaxing. Not too bad of a drive into Jasper and great brewery in walking distance (Folding Mountain Brewery). Definitely recommend for those looking for a nice little getaway!

Great unit with everything you need
Unit feels newly renovated, with nice new furniture and fixtures. In addition to the essentials, they've also supplied board games and video games, in case the surrounding nature isn't enough.
