Bluebell Cottage is a beautiful blend of lake home and Wisconsin farmhouse. It's where hand-painted antique armoires complement sumptuous leather reclining sofas...where old-time barn doors conceal 'smart' televisions...and where charming printed quits cover butter-soft sheets and indulgent memory foam mattresses.
Featured in the 2017 Door County Showcase of Homes, this cottage is all new construction on the beautiful, wooded Green Bay shoreline. This open-concept home features real hickory wood floors, two-zoned heat and central air conditioning, and tons of large windows that offer amazing views of the water. Newly added in winter of 2023 is Starlink satellite internet.
The spectacular open kitchen features lighted white cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless appliances and a large farm sink and a large farm sink. A massive center island offers a wine rack, Keurig and drip coffee makers and counter seating for six. The LG French door refrigerator has two separate ice makers, and the LG double oven features easy convection cooking. A large Bosch dishwasher provides quick clean-ups.
The Bluebell Cottage kitchen is fully stocked with ample dinnerware, a variety of glassware including non-breakable for outdoors.
Just off the kitchen is a beautiful four-season, white-washed sun porch with relaxing wicker-style furnishings, shiplap cathedral ceiling, large skylights, transom windows and a pot-belly stove for cooler nights. With its walls of windows, the sun porch is a delightful indoor spot to watch the sunset.
The great room offers both dining and living room areas in one expansive yet cozy space, crowned by a large stone fireplace with barn doors that conceal a flat-screen, smart television just above the mantel. Luxurious leather reclining sofas and "sink'in" chairs, plus a soft oriental carpet provide the perfect place to relax after a busy day on the water.
The main floor features a large master bedroom with huge windows overlooking the bay. The master bath combines granite, charming barn lights, Carrara tile and an indulgently spacious walk-in shower. A second guest room on the first floor overlooks the wildflower meadows, and is adjacent to a full bathroom.
The patio at Bluebell Cottage is the place to be for relaxation and magnificent water views. The patio features a large charcoal grill, soft outdoor lighting, a large table, umbrella and chairs for ten. A charming stone staircase leads to a generous pier with a swim ladder. The pier is an ideal spot for all day water fun, and to enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets. A fire pit and light-weight, Adirondack-style chairs complete the tranquil outdoor setting.
Upstairs at the cottage is a large guest room with hand-painted furniture, a barn wood headboard, and a private bathroom that features a sun tunnel for exceptional lighting without ever flipping on a light switch.
The star of Bluebell Cottage's second floor is the 'bunk room,' which features four extra long, spacious bunk beds. While perfect for youngsters, the bunk room can comfortably used by adults as well. The bunks, made of solid wood, feature an easy staircase, rather than a ladder, to reach the upper beds. Each spot has its own cubby space with outlets for recharging phones plus an individually-controlled bunk light. Just off the bunk room is a large bathroom with two vanities, a walk in shower, and lots of storage space. Both upstairs bedrooms feature beautiful views of the water.
The second floor also offers a spacious bonus room, with a large flat screen television and plenty of room to spread out for rainy day board games. The bonus room is carpeted, and showcases charming dormers.
All Bluebell Cottage beds feature memory foam mattresses, velvety-soft sheets, generous pillow and comforters. All bathrooms contain fluffy white towels, bath mats, hair dryers, hand soap and make-up remover wipes. A convenient first floor laundry features a large washer and dryer.
The home is located a short walk from beautiful Murphy Park, which offers a sand beach and public pier. Wedding parties posing for pictures by the water are a common site at Murphy Park.

This is a very well-appointment vacation home. Every bedroom and living area has an incredible view of the water. Each room is spacious and there are plenty of spaces for gathering together or spending some alone time. The closeness to the county park is huge draw, though the water can be enjoyed right on the property. Plenty of seating and nice appliances. The amount of natural light in this home is stunning. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Our Door County trip involved our entire immediate family. The layout of the gorgeous house gave each family member beautiful and spacious rooms to relax and wind down every day. Location of the house was excellent for many daytrips throughout the county. Every evening was spent at the lakeshore watching the sunset! The home is well equipped to make everyone feel right at home.
The hostess communicated throughout the planning process and our entire stay. She answered all questions promptly and accommodated a few special requests and referrals.
Definitely would book this house again when our family heads back to beautiful Door County.

Lovely property on the lake with stellar views! Nicely appointed house that worked well for our multi-generation family vacation. Lynn is easy to work with and prompt in her replies. One thing to note; the Wi-Fi/Verizon signal is poor, so if you plan to do any remote work, you may need to hit up a coffee shop, or the library in Fish Creek.

Our multi-generational family loved Bluebell Cottage! The house is set up perfectly for a large family with plenty of room for the kids to hang out upstairs in the game room while adults relaxed on the main floor. The kitchen is very well equipped and the views through the wall-to-wall windows on the main floor are amazing sunshine, rain or sunset. Our children played tetherball for hours and enjoyed the kayaks provided and fishing off the pier of the house and the nearby park. The house is a quick ride from Egg Harbor and other Door County hot spots yet feels totally tranquil and peaceful. We look forward to returning!

My family and I had the best time at Bluebell Cottage!! The house was gorgeous, spacious and clean, beds were comfy, and the backyard was amazing. The kids had a great time swimming, playing tetherball, exploring door county, and hanging out in the game room. us adults had an amazing time too swimming w the kids and exploring door county. It’s a great location a quick drive to Egg Harbor. Perfect for families with kids. Could not recommend this rental more! Thank you so much for a great stay with my family. Memories will last a lifetime.

The yard and dock and view are just great. We spent every evening either at the lakeside fire pit on the property or on the dock at the property. It was so special having our own dock to sit out over the water. The rocky shore is fun for the kids also.
The home itself is beautiful also. So many windows everywhere. Clean and well appointed. Four bedrooms with four full bathrooms is just perfect. The adults and children all loved it. Kitchen was great for cooking. Lots of dishes and glasses to use. Nice oversized dining table to fit everyone and play board games.
